"We both had bone-in 18 oz. NY strip steaks and they were amazing - flavorful, cooked to the right temperature and juicy. The service was impeccable. We dined on a quiet Sunday evening and staff outnumbered customers. You only had to make eye contact with one of them and they were at your table asking what they could bring you. The wine list is extensive. One pleasant surprise is that they sell some rather fine wines by the glass, unlike many places. They were pouring a very fine Bourdeaux for me - something I wouldn't have expected to get by the glass at most restaurants."

"Our dining experience at The Setai Grill was divine in every way. Our every need was anticipated and met by the efficient staff. Great wines and the best Scotch was available. The atmosphere is clubby quiet but energized by locals. The young chefs were cheerful and answered questions about our selections. The rib eye we shared was cooked to perfection with a fantastic potatoea au gratin. The homemade roquefort was divine. The manager, Mr. Hakan Balkuvvar was polished. knowledgeable and his service was reminiscent of an earlier time. This is an excellent steak house and we had a truly memorable experience."

"The food was amazing, however beware of the padding of the bill by the waitress. She offered us a glass of champagne, which turned out costing $40 a glass!!! I found that extremely offensive!! The bottle of wine the Sommelier suggested was delicious and only $20 more than my glass of champagne! The waitress didn't have a clue & service was extremely slow, even though they weren't that busy. If you have a lot of money or it's a special occasion, I recommend this place. Just beware of the offer of champagne!"

"Wonderful steakhouse for quiet dining. Other steakhouses in South Beach are very noisy and over crowded with tables and people. Very attentive assistance from the grill manager, Hakan Balkuvvar, enhanced our dining experience. The attention to the small details was outstanding. We were suggested a terrific wine, exceptional jamon Iberico, a delicious amuse-bouche, soft and warm brioche in a tureen--all outstanding touches. Although the restaurant touts its steaks from a leading New York butcher, there could be better found in the butcher shops of Chicago or Kansas City. Still the meal and all the staff's service were terrific!"

"The Setai Grill is a beautiful space within the Setai Hotel in Miami Beach. The restaurant is technically a “steakhouse” but don’t let that fool you. It really is a romantic little place, with outstanding service and an outstanding wine list that happens to serve great steak and really great seafood. I highly recommend for a couples night out and it is perfectly suited for a business dinner as well. The wine list and service goes far beyond expectations with great Burgundy selections (both red and white). This is an expensive night out but well worth it."

"Sorry to say that although open table rated seitai five star we did not have a great experience. Our tomato salad appetizer was delivered and shared and it was not until this shared appetizer was done that our waiter came to apologize for us only receiving one of two ordered. My steak and fries were brought to the table and the steak was cooked to rare and had been ordered medium well. The steak was returned to the kitchen with the excuse that the rare steak had been ordered by another table and brought to our by mistake. Meanwhile when the steak was re delivered the fries were cold. No attempt to make this experience better was made by the seemingly hovering staff. If this is Miami s number one I am glad I live in NYC."
