"I recently make a reservation for 4 thru open table. It was very easy no hesitation service and food was very good and cook to perfection perfection. Our waitress was very friendly and professional. I will recommend Jimmy' s to all my friends and family."

"Have not been to Jimmy's Charhouse before. There were 7 of us that met for a work function. Food was excellent, perfect serving sizes, service was good. They had several staff tending to our table and were very attentive to our needs. They gave us all complimentary spumoni ice cream at the end of the meal. We did have to ask for the check, but overall service, food and ice cream was great! Would recommend and I would go again."

"Went with 4 others to celebrate a birthday. Food was mediocre at best. I ordered the shrimp de jonghe. The shrimp were sooo overcooked and tough, they were the size of salad shrimp! They were not even served within a ramekin. They were just tossed on a dinner plate, adjacent to the cold carrots & broccoli. The burger was "ok", but the sweet potato fries were also overcooked, as was the greek pork chops. The chicken al forno was satisfactory, and the London broil, was tasty, but the portion size was too little for the price. Our server was very attentive, but the bus boy was over zealous. As soon as our entrees were brought out, he swooped in and removed all extra silverware and bread plates, leaving us with no place for our bread knives!"

"We go to the Jimmy's chair house in Libertyville and it is by far 100% better. The pork chops and sauce are totally different and so much better. To don broil so much better too. We will never go back to that o e in river woods again. We took friends there for the first time and what a disappointment."

"i took my girlfriend there for valentines day and her birthday.We were seated fast and got are drink order in and appetizers ordered.When we sat down there were 2 tables with people by us and 7 empty. We got are drinks and appetizers with in 15 min. witch was nice.we ordered are meals 5 min.before are apps. came and when they came they seated 2 tables by us.we ate are apps got are salads and ate them .the just seated 3 more tables after are salad.know 1 hour later after all 5 tabels that sat after us have gotten there apps and salads and meals the waiter came up and apologized that are meals are not up yet some mix up in the kitchen.well my girlfriend wouldnt let me complain its her birthday she didnt want a confrontation."

"It was terrible! Fist we waited quite a while for service & then our waiter apologize because they were short staffed. On Valentines Day? He brought us bread which was whole wheat which I didn't care for & found out later that they do also have french bread which we were supposed to have been asked our preference which we were not. I ordered the chicken which was DRY. It was if it had either been overcooked right from the start or had been sitting & re-heated, either way it was bad. They did offer to replca it but since I was already disappointed with the whole experience I just wanted to go. Will never go back nor will I recommend them to anyone1"

"Have been here before and it didn't meaasure up to past experiences. The quality and preparation of the food was below par and was not worth the menu price. I try not to be negative, but this is an honest review. They need to up their game, there are too many better quality places at or below this price point. I hope they make an effort to improve."

"We haven't been there in 3/4 years but went back because we had a gift card. We went there all the time but stop cause we moved. We were happy to return because we love the "al forno" style option. When we received our food we were very disappointed. The portions were much smaller than in the past. For example, my chicken al forno was thin and small. The broccoli piece as well. The only thing that looked the same was the baked potatoe size. I don't think we will return since I won't waste my money wondering if the portions will be like they were. The dessert menu could be updated."

"We went expecting a good steak and service. What we received was a okay steak and Poor service. We waited over 30 minutes to order our food. It took over 20 minutes to even order drinks. The best part of our meal was the Baked French Onion soup. If you want timely service and a dinner served on a time table for this century pick another restaurant."

"Thi is our second poor food experience. We returned, thinking sometimes thiungs happen in ther kitchen.The salmon was dry with a fishy taate, the chicken was so sry it was difficult to swallow.
