"I have been to Stella's many times. The food is always well prepared and presented. They typically have several seasonal dishes that change from evening to evening. Although the regular menu is fine, these dishes are what draws me to stella's. The deckle steak, flounder and salmon were all superb. The only downside is that they often run out of these featured dishes mid-evening. The service is good. Similar to what you would find @ other upscale dining in the area. Not nearly the standard of the better california or NY restaurants. They could improve by making sure that there is always someone @ the front door to greet the guests. On several occasions, I have had to wait for a hostess that has wandered off."

"We've dined at Stella's on numerous occasions and it's never failed to impress. We started the meal with a citrus salmon appetizer that was plated with minced red onion on top and served with toasted bagel ships with dill cream cheese. Needless to say, it was excellent. The salmon had a citrus note, yet it didn't over power the salmon itself. The duck dish I had was cooked medium rare to perfection and my wife swore to me again, it's the best shrimp and grits on earth. The staff knows the menu through and through and the nuances of each dish we've ever had highlight the main ingredient flawlessly. A must visit in Greenville."

"My server was actually the bar tender and I thought he was AWESOME!!! Makes a great Malibu Sunrise and was at the table just when you needed him. I liked his sense of humor.
As usual, the food was divine. Delicious quail. Perfect steaks.
The only downside was that there was another male server that kept hitting my chair every single time he walked by. He never apologized or even acknowledged that he ever bumped into me. His body even brushed my back once as he went by without a single acknowledgement or an excuse me. The other dinner party guests commented on it several times without me bringing it up to them and we moved our table 3 times to get out of 'his' way.Third time was a charm, I suppose."

The food was very good with obvious care paid during preparation and the service was friendly and professional. But to stay within a reasonable dining budget, sacrifices had to be made when ordering. Entree prices do not include salad or vegetable as any food item beyond the main dish requires additional expense. Thus, a complete meal ran up a tab quickly. Fine, high quality restaurant but not a high value choice."

"Was there on Saturday night with husband and friends. Edwin is THE BEST server!!!!! He was so attentive as though we were his only table. The food was fabulous and we had the perfect table as requested during my opentable reservation. Also, we asked for Edwin and he was even at the door to greet us. We were there for hours but never felt like they wanted us to give up our table. We live so close and Stella's is so wonderful, we MUST go more often. It's always a treat to have Julia (owner) come by and say hello. What a personal touch that we really appreciate. We always feel so welcome and that they are truly happy to see us. Friends said they although they've tried all the Gville restaurants, they rarely go anywhere but Stella's!"

"When we first dined at Stella's a few years ago we thought the food was very good. Now it is far better than very good and close to becoming outstanding. Stella's takes southern dishes and turns them into dishes that resonate with flavor from the main dish (pork chop and flounder special) to the sides(grit cake with red pepper jelly). The service was energetic and attentive. Stella's keeps getting better and better!"

"We had a fantastic dinner at Stella's. The "Deckle" - a cut of Prime Rib was simply out of this world. The service was excellent. Our waiter was extremely well versed in the menu and offered good recommendations. To top it off he custom made a mint sorbet as a dessert for a member of our party. This is remarkable because the mint sorbet is referenced on the menu as a garnish for another desert but is not actually a stand alone dessert. Great experience. We will definitely dine at Stella's again."
