"It was my first time to Blow Fish, and the sushi is very fresh, the edamame was excellent and the tuna tar tar was the best I've ever had! Would definitely recommend it!"

"My husband loved it. It was his birthday and the experience was great. Our waitress was amazing. We have been going out to sushi in Los Gatos for years. We enjoyed a new experience and the food was fabulous!"

"Had the Fugu and it was very good they served it with a wonderful sake pairing. I am still alive and the adrenaline rush was a cool experience. Even if you don't go for the blowfish, the other sushi rolls are just as delicious. It was a little bit expensive but so worth it."

"This is really the first time that I had "real" sushi. It was great. I really enjoyed that as a group of five that the waitress suggested for us to try differnt types of rolls and I received a real good sampling of differnt types of fish. The staff was wonderful."

"The food was great as usual. The noise was a bit overwhelming, however, between the loud music and the boisterous party that sat at the table next to us. Fortunately, we could just concentrate on the food and not try to talk much!"

"I've been going to Blowfish Sushi for years now. Prices have increased and portions has gotten smaller. Food has always been decent. However, I think I'll be visiting other sushi restaurants for better values."

"Amazing sushi and their cocktails are to die for. The only reason they didn't get outstanding was the loud loud noise and the fact it took 1/2 an hour to get our sushi rolls. They ware very apologetic though and it truly is the best sushi I have ever had."

"I love Blowfish Sushi in every way except for the awful noise level. I know that restaurants think this appeals to the young (but haven't they already lost their hearing because of loud rock concerts?), but I'd like to be able to carry on a conversation with my dinner partner.
Otherwise: the food is superb, and the ambience is beautiful."

"Wasn't too pleased with our experience here. Had a 5:30 reservation, got seated immediately as they weren't busy yet. I ordered a drink, and waited over 15 minutes to get it. It was a wasabit vodka cocktail. Couldn't taste the wasabi or the vodka - it just tasted like juice. And on an empty stomach, I had no buzz. That was an expensive 12 or so buck glass of juice. Service was friendly, but ditzy. She really couldn't answer our questions and just seemed out of it. The rolls are crazy small. Thank god we ordered a few appetizers. So, $95 later, we left feeling just okay about our experience and the food was underwhelming...well...go somewhere else."

"Our server was very helpful. She saw that we didn't touch our edamame and left it off our bill. The sushi was OK, but the tartare tower was amazing. I'd go back for the blowfish itself, but there are a few other places in the area with better sushi rolls. My date really liked it though and I recommend it if you're looking to impress someone"

"Blowfish has been a great place to go for Sushi since opening years ago. My one complaint is the menu. Gone is the great leather bound menu which spells out the description of each item in a paragraph separated with a double space. The new menu may be more managable for the management but.....it takes away from the excitement and luxurious feel the old menus had."
