Table 5 is located in the heart of historic Northville’s downtown area on Main Street. The building was built in 1867 and has a rich ancestry of Restaurants being in that location. We are a stones throw away from the Tipping Point Theatre, Historic Mill Race Village and of course the diverse shopping stores that make up the charm that is Northville. We are open Monday through Saturday from 5 pm until 11 pm. Come join us for dinner.
"We were a party of 4 the night before Mother's Day. Tried the kale Caesar salad (different but good), asparagus soup (light & yummy), and calamari for a shared appetizer (delish!). Entree choices: scallops, nightly special ribeye, panko-crusted fluke, & veal chop. All were good, but the veal chop was excellent & the stand-out. Desserts included the chocolate pot-de-creme (fine), strawberry-ricotta galette (decadent), and the honey-orange cheesecake (amazing). The cheesecake is in my top 5 ever for restaurant desserts - it was that good!
Our server Adam was great - attentive and kept us informed of the kitchen situation (running slow) at appropriate times. He even got the recipe for the cheesecake at my request."

"I heard some reviews and wanted to try out while visiting my home town for the weekend. I appreciate smaller venues like Table 5 for good food and great service. When entering the hostess was great and offered to get us drinks while we had a short wait for our table. Food was good with a nice selection of options. I was however underwhelmed by the service of the waiter."

"Went here on a Friday and had a wonderful meal. At first I was disapointed that the menu no longer has a vegeterean option but it was easy to work around by ordering the pasta dish and not eating the sausage. My dish was fantastic and my boyfriend raved about the chicken he had as well.
Service was also very good. When I told our waiter that I loved the Pinot Noir he pulled out a piece of paper and wrote the name of the wine down for me and even gave an expected price point. He also made sure to tell me that if I coudn't find the wine at stores to come back and let him know so that he could get me set up. This is exactly what customer service should be."

"Everyone enjoyed the entrees. Bread was hot out of the oven with yummy flavored butter on the side. Noise level was a bit high for our taste, but we enjoyed it nontheless. Service was a bit inconsistent but the restaurant was full and he was busy."

"The mussels are to die for. Get plenty of bread for dipping in the sauce. Wait staff are well trained and anticipate nearly everything. When you think of great dining, you must include Table 5 on your list."

"This is small restaurant, with a bar on one side and about twenty or so tables on the other. Bar side has one or two tables. Table 5, provides a variety of dishes. We ordered starters and had the stuffed portabella cap and trout pate, these came with fresh bread, which was perfect, crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Pate was okay, but the stuffed portabella cap was marvelous - good of had a whole meal them. In addition, we had soup and salad both were good. Our main dishes were the N.Y. Strip Steak and panko crusted fluke. I could eaten two of the Pankos. Our waiter was especially attentive. This is our second time at Table5."

"The food was quite good. We were disappointed with the service. We told the waiter we only had an hour and a quarter because we needed to get to another engagement. We thought that would be plenty of time. It wasn't. Everything took forever. Ordering, getting food, even just getting a beer, nothing was easy. Also disappointed that the waiter was not at all accommodating. We had a party of six ordering drinks, appetizers and dinner. One was just six weeks pregnant and was looking forward to the Sheppard's Pie she had seen on the online menu. The waiter wouldn't let her have it because it was only available at the bar which was within ten feet from our table. Give me a break."

"The waiter was great, but the food was just kind of meh. They did a lot of different things with the food, but at the end of the day, you basically got to choose from beef or chicken."

"The service and food was excellent for both my husband and my entrees. The wedge salad with bacon jam and blue cheese dressing is delicious to start and I loved my scallops with caramelized brussel sprouts. The waitstaff was highly attentive, but did not interrupt our romantic meal. I would highly recommend Table 5."

"Had wonderful evening. Jamie was delightful and the food was delicious. Our only complaint pertained to a window between the dining room and the bar that was used as a dining area by a couple and their infant child. Our table of four became a party of seven, including a shrieking baby. Shutters or curtains in place would have allowed us to not have to endure the uninvited participants to our table."

"Tried the weekly Wednesday night "3 for $25" prix fixe menu and enjoyed all three courses. Asparagus and crab custard had great texture and flavor. Second course house salad with prosciutto, pine nuts and pear slices was also tasty. Entree leg of lamb served with potato, mushroom and carrot puree had amazing flavor but was slightly overcooked. Other guests enjoyed food as well, especially the salmon and scallops (the alternate entree choice on prix fixe menu.
Server Chad was attentive, personable and extremely knowledgeable on the food, wine and beverage selections, providing recommendations that exceeded our expectations.
Table was situated immediately next to open space where servers typed in orders, which was awkward."

"It's the best restaurant in SE Michigan. On-site owner, best in class servers, and a very creative menu. There are no weak menu choices...believe me, have been eating there for 5 years and you can't get better in Chicago, NYC, or San Francisco."

"The atmosphere was very nice, quiet and relaxed with candelite . The service was fine efficient yet not intrusive. I had: Pear-ginger martini(unique flavor-would recommend), pear salad (just average not real flavorful) and scallops which were very good but only 3 (small portion for price) Chocolate/carmel martini for dessert drink (highly recommend but it was sweet-for less sweetness try a chocolate martini). Others in my party had salmon, tomato bisque soup and bread pudding -all reported food was very good. Overall would recommend this restaurant and I plan to return."

"Although I had requested a quiet table, eating early, we were the first for dinner, we were seated in the back of the dining room in the corner. When I asked if we could move, I was told no because all the tables are "staged". Food was just ok. Waiter had difficuly understanding my food restrictions, but the kitchen did a good job altering the entree choice I made. Unfortunately we do not have any fine dining left in town Northville, this place seems to be the closest to it. May go back again, not sure if I would recommend this spot or not."

"Once again, we were extremely pleased with our experience at Table 5. Our reservation was at 7:00pm and we were seated immediately. Our waiter greeted us and took our drink order within a minute of us sitting down and explained the specials in a clear enticing manner. The food was exceptional. The service was great. The ambiance makes this restaurant one of our favorites."

"There were only 4 tables total in the restaurant and it took well over 2 hours to get our food for a Table of 5 people. It was crazy! We ordered 4 filets and one Halibut (fish)... The steaks and potatoes all came out cold and the fish came out very hot... It was clear they didn't cook the food in the right order. We spent over $200 for a very dissappointing and long meal :-( No apologizing at all or anything. We just moved the the area too and were looking for a place we could be "regulars" at... :-("

"I was very pleased with my dining experience at Table 5. The food was great and the Host was very nice as was the service. I was a little weary of the fact they won't serve bar bites in main restaurant, but turns out they will serve bar bites plus full menu at bar. Make reservations on weekends as it is tough otherwise."
