"The $39 fixed price menu featured from 5 to 7 had some great choices on it. Still expect to pay over $100.00 if you get a glass of wine and a beer, as we did. Pretty pricey otherwise. However, for a great dinner in a casino you can do a lot worse. Waiter was excellent."

"My wife and had dinner on saturday May 11th and it was a wonderful expierience! I would especially like to commend Jess, Jerry and Eric for making our dinner great! They were courteous and funny and extremely professional and we will definetly come back again. "Our party was very disappointed with the overall experience. The steak tasted like I grilled it myself at home. There was nothing special about Italy all. (We all ordered the filet mignon) The sides were just ok. As far as the service goes, I think they try to accommodate the guests well but it backfired. We had 3 different servers that were "working together" but it actually made everything take longer. Too many hands in the pot I guess! We will not be returning to The Steakhouse at Harrah's!"

Also, they nickeled and dimed you for everything. A side of hollandaise sauce cost $3.00. A glass of wine cost $19.00. In short, don't expect a $39.00 meal. Our "$39.00" meal cost us $125.00."

"My wife and stayed at Harrah's for a couple of nights to take advantage of Restaurant Week. We ate at three steakhouses on our trip, (the Palm and Reserve were the other two). The food at the Steakhouse was the best, unfortunately the poor service ruined the evening. There was an error on the bill and when I pointed it out, the waiter did not apologize but acted as if he was doing me a favor by correcting it. He was mediocre at best all night, calling out across the room to his other tables and generally acting as if he was working at a truck stop, not one of the cities finest restaurants. After he still didn't fully correct the bill it came out of his tip. I hated to do that because the other members of the wait team where great."

"Dined during restaurant week on the pre-fix menu. All three courses were delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection. Sometimes a well done steak is hard to get right but they did it perfectly. Juicy, tender and flavorful and without even a hint of pink. Everything was great and we left happy. I would say though the regular menu prices were very high, definelty would only recommend for a pre-fix special or with comps, unless you are ok with spending $10 for a baked potato."

"My wife and I went for her 40th birthday. Both our steaks were excellent. The service was excellent. Everyone treated us as high rollers. It was a little expensive but knew that going in. In all, it was worth the price. Also, they came by with a piece of cake and candle for my wife's birthday and I never asked for them to do that. It was nice!"

"I usually stay away from writing reviews. However, my experieince was so bad I thought I would write one. We went to dinner last Thursday evening. When I arrived it was not very crowded and there appeared to be 1 waiter working. Our drinks came out very quickly and the restaurant began to fill up. However, still 1 waiter. After an hour, my 6oz. filet came out on the biggest plate I have ever seen. It looked like a steak nugget and way over-cooked. The bill came to $265 for my wife and I. I've been to most of the high end steak houses and the steaks have always been delicious. I do not think I'll return to this restaurant."

"After the waiter gave us our menus and introduced himself, we were waiting a long time for him to come and take our order. The manager, I guess, a female, saw we were waiting with no drinks or food, so she came over and asked if we were being helped. We said no, and she immediately got the waiter over to our table. Kudos to her. Our sushi appetizer was out of this world! Our wine, a Coppola cab, was delicious and reasonable. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. My only issue was that the garlic mashed potatos were not garlicky enough and they were dry. :( But otherwise a good choice. Oh! And the wallpaper was VERY VERY cool. I'm trying to find it for my own home office."

"Food was okay. Instead of heat the air was blowing constantly making our dining experience very unpleasant. We asked for them to rectify the situation and was told it would take 45 minutes to stop. Several other people also complained. We sat for almost two hours and it never stopped blowing. Chilled to the bone and not a very comfortable experience."
