"This restaurant was everything I expected and more! My boyfriend and I visited Parker's as a "date night," and it was absolutely perfect. The dress wasn't super formal so there was so pressure to dress up, however if you did want to dress up, i think the atmosphere of the restaurant fits that as well. Our dinner was delicious, I had the sushi and he had the filet migon, both met our expectations. Overall GREAT place, if you catch the sunset it's absolutely gorgeous. The view was wonderful, the service was great. Good for romance and group gatherings as well. Thinking about hosting my birthday dinner here too =)"

"This was my second visit to the restaurant. The service was excellent, we had a great waitress, But the food was less than perfect, I ordered the jumbolaya and it was too spicy and watery, my date ordered the free range chicken and it was over cooked, charred, and not particularly good. It was a special occasion so they gave us some free cheesecake, that was nice but we ordered a special that came with dissert. So we took the extra home. This is a nice place but the food we ordered was not as good as the first time we went. Also the appetizer (the combo plate) was a lot smaller than the first time we ordered it a year ago."

"It was good. Service was really good. Would not go out of my way to go there again. Plenty of, just as good, and better, in our area. I saw a review on TV a couple weeks ago, said it was fantastic. It was just good. My fish was over cooked. My husbands was not. Very small portions. Not very impressed. Just ok."

"The parking was a nightmare and even with reservations made a month in advance, we had to wait 45 minutes for a table. Then when we were finally seated, the table was smaller than the table we had been sitting at while waiting at the bar. Even worse, we were right in the path to the kitchen. To top it off, a couple who came in after us was seated at the same time right next to us, next to the window and at a much bigger table. The food was good but not worth the frustrations."

"We all had a very good time. The food was good and we had a big group and we didn't have to wait a very long time we all got our food at same time. the veiw was beautiful and the drinks are verrry great you can enjoy the flavor of what you choose and not just taste the alchohol. "Took my girlfriend for v-day.very good food.I had the shrimp scampi pasta.she had golden fry platter.both entrees were delicious we were picking off each others all night lol.I recommnd sitting outside on the south side of the restaurant.this is the perfect view of the ocean and queen mary! we'll be going there every year for v-day from now till forever!"

"Valentine's weekend was special when we added this restaurant to our list. It was romantic and our view was fabulous. The fire pit outside was also a great place to snuggle and reflect on our evening. The staff called a cab for us and it was easy to get back to our hotel. Wonderful experience."

"I took my elderly aunt here for her birthday lunch and we were very disappointed in the quality of the food. we had eaten here before and were pleased, hence our return visit. The new executive chef has done this restaurant a disservice in its quality of food."

"Advance reservations got us a window table with a fabulous view of the Long Beach Harbor.
The seafood platter appetizer was delicious, as were the chef's specials entrees that were cooked to order. The waiter made excellent suggestions and explained the many options for preparing the entrees to us in detail. We have never been disappointed at Parker's, and we'll be back!"

"The service started off poor but once we spoke to the manager it improved immensely. The manager handled the situation perfectly! I give him major kudos for his immediate attention to the situation and his excellent customer service. Especially since we were celebrating my husband's 45th birthday. It is because of the manager that I gave it an overall very good. I am stickler for customer service."

"I just wished that they have the table ready and waiting for us (and at least with a stem of flower in a small vase, when we get in. It could have been more pleasing and wonderfull experience and not for us to be waiting while they are fixing the table for us.Making the resrvation useless.They should have it ready and made us go straight to our table as soon as we check in and mentioned: "Open Table Reservation for Two - Edith Ramos""

"Parker's Lighthouse is on our list of favorite restaurants and we've been there several times. We can always count on delicious food and great service, with a spectacular view of Long Beach harbor and the Queen Mary. We dined on a Sunday and we had the entire 2nd floor to ourselves. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and I could cut it with a butter knife. Always a pleasure to dine here and have recommended it to friends as well."

"My family & I celebrated my mom's birthday at Parker's Lighthouse per her decision. We hadn't been here in more than a decade. I made a reservation the day before via Open Table & had a wonderful experience. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted by the hostess in such a hospitable manner. The view is gorgeous. Our waiter, Raul, was just very accommodating to our needs. The food that we had was superb! Lobster taquitos, shrimp gumbo,the salmon burger with fries, & the surprise birthday cheesecake slice. Amazing. I brought my daughter, which proves to be kid-friendly & as we stepped out, my mom was sent off by the hostess with a nice, "Happy Birthday" as we left the establishment. We'll be back."

"When we first arrived they were going to seat us by a window but also with a big party. Our host saw that this was not an ideal place for our anniversry dinner and promptly seated us in the larger room by the window. "We invited our friend out for a pre-Christmas dinner, and honestly could not find one thing we would improve on! We chose an early dining time (6 pm) so it was really quiet for about 45 minutes. As the restaurant filled, it got noisier, but totally realistic, especially given the season (large group near us). The view was fantastic, 180 degrees of colored lights. Our server was attentive but not disruptive, and the food was wonderful.
A+++ evening!"

"Wonderful setting and views of the Marina. White table cloths and large windows created a nice ambiance. Our lunch meals were good but not outstanding. My grilled salmon was disappointing; overcooked and topped with sauce that was too heavy and sweet. My husband's grilled chicken salad was flavorful and fresh. Our friend remarked that the herb chicken breast was also good. The shrimp appetizer had great flavor, but the shrimp seemed a little on the tough side. Our server was friendly but our order took quite awhile to reach our table and the main meal was served too soon following the appetizer. Long after our meal (with dishes still on the table) we had to request coffee and waited quite awhile. Maybe just an off day. Overall good."

"I was looking for a romantic dinner, instead I got a fun dinner. We made reservations, but then when we got there they sent us upstairs, which is open seating. It was very bar-like and we didn't felt like it was the type of experience we were looking for. In the end, we should have sat on the first floor. Food was great, and it would have been a great experience if we were looking for a regular night out."

"The food was excellent - - - service was okay. We had to ask for bread and I had to ask for water twice. The other tables around us got their bread and water right after they arrived. Apparently, we had to request these items.

We had the sea bass and the scallops - and they were both wonderful and to die for. I would return for the food itself.....but I hope we have a better server."

"Parker's Lighthouse has become one of our favorite anniversary and Valentine's Day restaurants. Great food, great service, great scenic view of the Queen Mary from the heated patio. "This was not one of the better times at Parker's. We were first seated on the patio, but the sun was too hot for my 87 year old mother, but when we told the waiter that we would like to move inside, we got an attitude...you could tell he was not happy. He had our drinks in his hand at this time and told us he would bring them over after we got moved. Well, let me just say that we stared at our drinks sitting at the bar across the room for a good 10-15 minutes before anyone decided to bring them over. Then, we never really had a regular waiter after that. Every time something was brought to our table, it was brought by someone new. It was just an odd experience, especially since it was Thanksgiving."

"Whe were greeted promptly and shown to our table that had the most wondeful view of the harbor. On one side was the Queen Mary and the other was the Aquarium of the PAcific and a Ferris Wheel. "I had asked for a table view to the ocean, my request and expectation was not meet. I was given a table looking out the restarant across from the Parkers. Also, our server (Raul) would dissapear not sure if he was on break never told "us". However, we asked for to box our left overs, and for the bill. He bought the bill, dissappear not even the Manager could find him, and appearantely he was the only one that could ring us up. I don't understand, I was in a tight scheduled not wanted to pay with my credit card. But since (Raul) was no were to be found by page, etc looking for him over 15 minutes. I had no choice but to pay cash $118.00 & $25.00 tip. I never been in a situation that no-one not even the Manager could help me."

"I loved the atmosphere, the hanging ship lamps, the great service and wonderful view. My husband raved about his shrimp linguine and we all stole a few spoonfulls of his incredibly delicious chocolate tollhouse cookie/pie desert. My free-range turkey dinner was very good except for the pistachio stuffing which was a bit gummy for my liking. The only complaint our group shared was that it was so loud where we were seated on the 1st floor that we literally had to lean over the table just to carry on a conversation. Other than that, it was a very pleasant exerience."

"Never having eaten there before, we weren't quite sure what to expect. We'd always assumed Parker's Lighthouse was on par with Black Angus/Outback, etc. We were very pleasantly surprised. Not only did they serve original Thanksgiving dinner, but their full menu was offered, as well. Two in our party ordered Thanksgiving dinner and reported that it was excellent! My wife and I ordered off the menu, lobster tail and Australian sea bass, respectively; these were also excellent! Our server, I believe his name was Daniel, was fantastic. Just the right amount of attention. No one likes being smothered. All in all, a very enjoyable experience - and we WILL be back!"

"We had 6:00 reservations, but arrived a little early so we started out at the upstairs lounge. The martinis were wonderful, the service was great and the view of the Queen Mary across the bay was outstanding.

We went downstairs for dinner a little after 6:00 and were setted at a window table. Before leaving home we had printed out a menu from their website and were ready to order dinner and a glass of wine. When we looked at the menu, we were disappointed to see it was different from their website and what we had planned to order and were looking forward to was not on the menu. (Macadamia crusted mahi-mahi with green papaya salsa and tempura long beans.) We settled for fish and chips and sushi. Good, but not what we we'd planned."
