"Although the service was very good, the food was just mediocre; not what one would expect from a classy Italian restaurant, especially at those prices. My scallops were good but nothing spectacular. Also, the wine list was less than perfect. The ambiance was nice but we found the chairs to be uncomfortable. We will not be returning and would not recommend this venue to others."

"Make a reservation here as walk ins aren't welcomed as much as at other restaurants.( Even with multiple empty tables all walk-ins are made to wait.) Food here has slipped a bit - seems much better at the original Northfield establishment - but overall is still good. Try and request seating in the booth area - table area is very dark and has a cold feel to it. Again the Northfield place might be the size of a postage stamp but the ambiance is far superior. By far it is the best restaurant at Harrahs."

"Luke's is the best restaurant in AC... The chef-owner has created a clever and distinctive menu with enough choices to satisfy yet not so many that you wonder (rightfully so) how they can all be prepared well... The Grissini appetizer - prociutto, and truffle buter breadsticks are fabulous. The gnocchi - seasonal preparation are light and delicious and the gelato/lemoncello & espresso dessert is delightful. Luke is a welcoming host and the room is Tuscan style Italian in fine taste. There may be other restaurants as good in AC but I have not experienced any that are better."

"While waiting for our 7pm reservation an elderly couple, one of whom was handicapped came to the hostess station looking to get in to eat. When politley told that nothng was available until 8:30pm, the couple said they couldn't wait that late to eat, so they would go elsewhwre, the hostess said to them "well, it IS Luke Pellgrino!" Once we were inside, the VERY high ceilings made the noise level deafening. The appetizer of Arancini was good. Then our meals came. Never had Veal Saltimbocca THAT salty, plus I guess if you want your meal HOT it costs extra. The sauce had a skin over it, meaning that it had been sitting. Wife had super salty "pasta pillows". Both meals tasted as if someone poured salt container over them."

"The ambience sitting in a booth with a view of the kitcen in action is excellent. The overall dining experience is upscale and very, very good. Perhaps because we're discriminating italians, the preparation of the pasta was different to us and not to our liking. This was not our first time visiting this restaurant and we would go back."

"Our server was friendly & the food was amazing. I almost completely cleared my plate which I never do in restaurants. It was pricey but we didnt mind spending the money as long as the food/ambiance were outstanding. While the food lived up to that, the ambiance did not. We didnt like the setup, it was loud & my husband said he felt like he was in a dimly lit cafeteria. Our table was super close to the table next to us which had a child about 4 yrs old who was allowed by his parents to walk around & lean on our table & pick his nose. Something you expect at an Olive Garden, not at a fancy place that charges $30-50 an entrée. Our experience wasn't worth the $200 bill, but overall it was good and I would give this place another try."

"Very disappointing. Food was awful. Ordered from the price fix menu. Ceaser salad was bland with very little dressing. Pasta was hard and when the waiter took it back he told me it was "aldente ". "I was with my family celebrating my wife's birthday. We all came to the same consensus that Luke Palladino’s is an average Italian restaurant not meet the expectations of the hype. In the area you can enjoy better service and food from either Lamberti's or Touch of Italy restaurants. I do not like rushed service but I do like some attention, the “team that served us was not equal to what a restaurant of this caliber should be. After our food as served and we were half though our meals the wait staff finally came over to see if everything was ok. I had 2 glasses of wine and had to ask the waiter for the 2nd glass. My college age boys were drinking water had to ask for refills. The gaps in service are fundamental basic service etiquett"

"We fell in love with the place at our first dining experience there when they first opened. All of the entrée's are made from scratch, many of them are unique in that they are not your normal Italian fare. The salads and appetizers are delicious and meant to tickle your pallet. The restaurant staff from the greeter at the door, the Maître D and the wait staff arw attentive, pleasant, efficient and customer oriented. The restaurant is pleasing to the eye with ambient soft lighting, pleasant music, creative art work celebrating Italy, creating an atmosphere made for fine dining and pleasing experience. By far the best restaurant at Harrah's in our opinion and that is why we continue to come back!"

"Nice,quiet,good food. The head waiter is a long time AC waiter who we recognized from 20 years ago. We enjoy an elegant, relatively quiet place with good food - and we were not disappointed.The servers were attentive. The cappuccino was weak (surprising for an Italian restaurant). "I made a booking error on open table. I embarrassingly selected the next day instead of present day. The hostess very kindly accommodated our group of three at a high top table right off from the bar. We had two servers, who seemed to need a bit more communication BUT were gems in and of themselves. The sangria. Oh that sangria ! Finally a sangria without tons of sugar--it really showcased the depth of the wine!
The calamari appetizer was perfect. Crispy and chewy. Seasoned wonderfully with a great sauce!
I had the carbonara. It was divine. Meaty, creamy, decadent. My only compliant was that it was so rich I couldn't eat more!!! My friends had the gnocchi (delicious) and the bologonase which were also great! Highly recommend !"

"The food was not good, considering the cost. The "homemade" pasta was tough, although it has a good taste, it was tough. The lobster bisque was better at another resturant in the area and for less cost. We had a gift coupon so we went to Luke Palladino but we would not go there agaiin."

"I love the design of the restaurant. It is stunning, yet extremely comfortable. The service was attentive and friendly. We couldn't say enough about the wait staff. We found the food, while delicious, was significantly overpriced. We went during restaurant week, and found the portions to be too small. We have dined at the Northfield location as well, and feel the same way about the pricing vs. portion size. Overall, a great night out if you don't mind being a little hungry at the end of the night."
