"Went here for my wife's 50th Birthday with her parents who drove up from San Diego. We never had the chance to eat our main course as it was being deliver after as a group had enough of waiting. Were they busy, yes, however, all the tables around us that we seated around the same time period either were finishing their respective main courses or paying their check. Our reservation was for 7PM which we were on time for and seated promptly, ordered an appetizer and our drinks. After having the appetizer delivered we order our salads and main courses. The salads were delivered and then we waited. No one came by to explain for the reason for the delay. We left after an hour, though they offered to comp our meal, the birthday dinner was ruined."

"Given the mass Mother's Day rush, our experience was excellent. The food was perfect and the service was great. The patio was warm as it was a 90 degree day, but I requested an outside table when I made the reservation. I did not expect it to be so hot in May. Next time will sit inside if there is any question about the weather!"

"I booked Cafe Santorini for this years Mother's Day brunch. The food was good, but the place was crowed. It seems most moms love Cafe Santorini as well, due to the large crowds. We waited at the bar and enjoyed a glass of sangria...very good! Once we were seated, our appetizers were brought out immediately. Service was great, but again, just a little crowed due to that popularity. I would bring my mom back to enjoy a quiet dinner next time."

"I come here often with my husband. We really love the food here and everything always tastes delicious. Patio seating is fun, though a bit crammed. Sometimes you can be rushed a bit and the servers can have attitude, but the food is really good!"

"My friend picked this restaurant to have her birthday dinner because we have dinned there before and she likes dinning up, out on the rooftop. I was there with her and another friend of ours. We started out with a round of martini drinks that were very tasty and not weak on the alcohol like some other places. We had a very nice tasting bruschetta and calamari that was not overly chewy. For entrees I ordered the stuffed butternut squash. It was great and there was plenty left over for my next day’s lunch. My friends also very much liked what they ordered. We were provided with a complimentary slice of flourless chocolate cake which we all enjoyed. It was very rich tasting. We all had a splendid time."

"The waitress who serves my table was HORRIBLE
She had no smile, no service, yet, with attitude. The only time she gave a smile was handing me the check. I think I was nice enough to leave some tips, however she totally doesn't deserve a penny.
I have dined in Cafe Santorini since the restaurant first opened, I was always happy with the food and service.
This time was the worst I have ever had. In addition, I gave the restaurant a notice that it is for my mother's birthday. I don't think the waitress who served my table cares to notice that we were there to celebrate a birthday, she definitely did a great job on ruining our happy birthday dinner.
It was a horrible memory at the Cafe Santorini."

"This was my first visit to Cafe Santorini and I thought it was a wonderful restaurant. I started with the toasted walnut and gorgonzola salad which was amazing. the dressing that they used was just delicious. I had the grilled beef brochette and while I really enjoyed it, I was kicking myself for not ordering the special of sea bass over quinoa. Wow, did that look amazing! I ended the evening sharing the apple tart and overall, had a wonderful dinner! I would definitely go back!"

"I love this place!!! Great for a date night but also suitable for kids which makes it so versatile. "I was looking for a new restaurant in the Pasadena area for lunch and came across Santorini. I was bringing my friend for lunch that is in a wheelchair. They called me to let me know that they had no access to their patio/restaurant dining that is upstairs in an old building. However, they offered to let us eat downstairs in their banquet hall. There is a doorbell for handicapped people to ring and they will let you in. We rang the bell for 10 minutes and no one appeared. I had to leave her alone while I went upstairs to get the hostess to open the door. The wait staff was wonderful. The food was good, not great, the atmosphere was sub-zero. Would not go again. Patio dining and pizza might be ok, but there are other places to try."

"Our dining experience was wonderful, service was prompt and the selection from the menu was varied enough that you could eat a save simple plate or stretch your taste buds as I did with a Lamb kabob. Fabulous.
I must admit that the location is a light tricky. From an alley off of Union Street to another side alley through the door and up two flights of stairs, but it was worth the effort."

"It was a special occasion for me, i proposed to my fiancee. Everyone enjoyed the food and having the entire area to ourselves, was unexpected. Waiter recommendation was excellent. However the server wasn't mindful to his surroundings that he became the topic of discussion. Afterwards we had a lot of fun. When the bill came i got confused and after signing it, waiter came back to inform me that the top was already included. I very much appreciated his integrity and told me i out too much. I will definitely come back and will recommend this place to everyone i know."

"Patio seating was nice, even with the shades drawn. Food was amazing. Chicken kebob, margherita pizza, hummus, tiramisu and creme brulee. All perfect! The martinis were awesome. Lychee, pear and pomegranate. Pomegranate was my favorite. My only complaint is the noise level was very high, so high that I couldn't hear my date talking to me from across our teeny-tiny table. But it was Saturday night and the patio was jam-packed. Will definitely be back."

"I wish I could say more about this restaurant... We had an 8:15 reservation and were not seated until almost 9pm. Thankfully we were able to get a seat at the bar and enjoy a couple glasses of wine. The food was just ... ehhh..OK... nothing fantastic. The tabbouleh was very bland and the calamari was like eating a plate of rubber bands. Our server came and went like a drive by shooting... I will go back for drinks, but never for dinner. Seeing as our reservation wasn't held, I felt a manager should have come over and offered a round of drinks or dessert... No such luck."

"Service at Cafe Santorini was excellent from the moment we walked in to our departure. We were greeted warmly and immediately, and our reserved table was ready. Two appetizers were ordered, and both were lovely: the grilled calamari were unexpectedly bright and flavorful, served with greens and a light dressing; quite different from the usual breaded calamari with a tomato-based sauce. The mixed appetizer platter (Santorini mezza platter) is spectacular.
Entrees were generous and beautifully cooked. I can speak to the braised lamb shank with mashed potatoes and sauteed mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes as being the most elegant comfort food that I have had in a very long time.
We'll be returning here."

"The ambiance sells this place. Love the patio.
Food overall was good. 4 people for around $100 for dinner. My $30 rib eye was good. If your particular about how it's cooked make sure to mention it. My medium was closer to well done for my taste but I didn't want to bother firing another steak. Last time I had the scallops and they were delicious. I also liked the Syrah by the glass. Nice poor for $10. Service is a little slower to let you enjoy your company. We also had happy hour before hand at the bar. Good size appetizers for $5. Premium drinks are only 10% off so the drinks add up quick. Avg. $10 a drink x 4 + 2 apps = $50"

"Decided to take my girl for valentines day and that was the best decision I made. They gave us the option to pick to eat outside,in the main room or in the mezzanine. we were the only ones in the mezzanine there at first, i was afraid they were going to forget about us but were attended to like we had our own private waiter. the mood was excellent. the food was delicious, due to other reviews I ordered the grilled calamari, and it was delicious. Even my girlfriend loved it, and she doesn't even like calamari. I highly recommend it for starters. I had the chicken kabob and my valentine had the salmon, which were both delicious. Our Valentines dinner date experience was perfect. I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend it."
