NoRTH, Modern Italian Cuisine exemplifies a culinary tradition that blends sophisticated contemporary cuisine with the comfort of traditional cooking techniques. The menu features dished that are created from the freshest ingredients without the unnecessary adornments of cream or heavy sauces. Crispy thin crust pizza and wood roasted entrees along with pasta specialties and a variety of antipasti round out the menu. The world-class wine list features 30 selections by the glass, terzo (third of a bottle) or bottle. NoRTH also offers a variety of specialty cocktails including Lemon Nortes made with Limoncello liqueur and Frizzantes, a flute of Prosecco sparkling wine with fresh fruit puree. The restaurant interior evokes the feel of a cosmopolitan loft with brick walls and rich dark wood floors that create an elegant ambiance and the perfect backdrop for white, celery and orange furnishings. "The food as always, was fantastic. we really enjoyed the meatball sandwich. The spaghetti was also very good. You can't miss at NoRTH, I have been there several times and enjoyed everything i have ordered. The only thing they could use some help on is the service. If the servers stepped it up a bit, NoRTH would be 5 stars across the board."

"The service we received was wonderful. Our server Liz made great suggestions (which we took) and the attention we received was perfect; not pushy but always nearby and watchful. We had the grilled mahi mahi and the tuna. Both were well prepared and delicious. This was our first time dining at North but it will not be our last."

"Their argula and calamari salad is amazing. I go back again and again just for that dish! Very fun restaurant. I wasn't completely crazy about the 5280 beef dish, but I traded with my husband and had his pasta/sausage dish (which was delicious)."

"Unfortunately, regardless of how excellent the waiter's service or the food is, the night will be less than perfect when I am greeted at the door by a couple of airheads who apparently decide how important I am by how I look. If you are not young, beautiful and highly successful looking, be prepared to be treated as though you have no worth. I think my money will be better spent elsewhere."

"We went for Denver Restaurant Week -- the flank steak was pretty bad. Tough as nails, I couldn't even chew it -- the waiter took it back to the kitchen and it came back only slightly better but I didn't want to complain again. My doggie bag is still in the fridge and will probably go to the dog. The greens that came with it were just o.k. Probably won't go back for dinner until this memory fades! but we liked the bar. And I have to say the service was pretty much top-notch. I hope ordering off the regular menu comes out better (if we go back). We live in the area and could use another good dinner choice."

"We went to North for Denver Restaurant week and kind of expected that the portions would be paired down because of the incredible savings. However, all of the portions were normal size - even the appetizers! It was a tremendous value for the price! The calamari with roasted lemons and arugula appetizer was fantastic! "Great food, big portions even at 5280 week prices. Wonderful service, modern pleasing setting, but noise level is high and makes it difficult for intimate conversation. Need more sound absorbing surfaces, instead of wood, brick, glass and metal. A couple less tables would allow room to spread out and make it more easy to talk too, instead of hearing the conversation at the table next to you."

"We were here for restaurant week, and only had the limited menu. But between the two of us we tried as much as we could and enjoyed all of it. The restaurant itself is kinda small and the servers were not as attentive to us as they could have been, just kinda average. "When we first were seated, I was a little disappointed about how close the 2-top tables are in proximity to each other. It actually was not an issue as the tables are staggered from one another so you do not feel like you are eating with the person next to you. Our waitress was friendly and informative. "We had a very nice evening. However I called to let the restaurant know that we were celebrating Patty's birthday. There was no mention from the staff and certainly no special attention to our birthday girl. I repeated the info about the occasion to the hostess when she seated us but got no response. It would have been nice if they had made Patty feel special on her day. Everything else was fine. We have dined at North many times."

"Great service, cool atmosphere, something for everyone on the menu. Great location for a mid-point between downtown and DTC for lunch. Parking could be an improvement for lunch (valet evenings) but Sears parking lot next door."

"I don't like that they changed their Capreses salad. Now it looks sloppy and less appealing. You can still get it the "old style", you just have to ask for it. Not a change for the better."

"This is a great restaurant. I have been here several times and the food and service is consistently great. This is the type of place you can go with one or two friends or have a whole table full of people and always have a great experience."

"Another fantastic evening at NoRTH. We were celebrating our 44th anniversary and the Champagne that our waitress presented upon greeting us was most unexpected.

"the food was good as always.
I used to go this restaurant for lunch, I went there for dinner in this time.
the restaurant was full as usual, the hostess welcomed us.
however, the table we got was in front of the door so every time we got foods, foods went cold very soon.
Moreover, we wished our waitress smiled more..
she seemed not happy to serve us. one of my guests was really unhappy; I was so embarrassed.
Oh, About food, most of foods we ordered were okay as I said, but calamari for app. was really salty. I wanted to tell the server, but I didn't want to bother my waitress.
(you know what I'm saying)

well, although this time was not really wonderful, I probably go again cuz my previous experiences were good."
