North, exemplifies a culinary tradition that blends sophisticated Italian cuisine with the comfort of traditional cooking techniques. The menu features dishes that are created from the freshest ingredients without the unnecessary adornments of cream or heavy sauces. Crispy thin crust pizza, wood roasted entrees, pasta specialties, and a variety of antipasti round out the menu. "Our daughter wanted to take Dad somewhere special this Father's Day ("...a really nice restaurant"). This has been one of our favorite spots for a number of years. We had requested a couple of our favorite wait staff. April was off, Rem was working at the bar. After we sat down, much to our surprise, REM came to the table and waited on us IN ADDITION to running the bar. We were loyal patrons before but he has now put North over the TOP!!! The food was fantastic, as usual. My hubby and I LOVED the salmon. The girls loved the ribs. Nutella cake (YUM!!), coffee, Cockburn...what more could a father ask for? Thank you, Rem and North. You TRULY outdid yourselves!"

"I thought that the food was very good and the restaurant had a vibrant energy with many people there. The service was quite good and I know we will go back again to dine there. We went for a birthday dinner to celebrate. I loved my meal and the pasta is made fresh there every day. Very good- yum."

"We live in Arizona and are big Fox Concepts fans. Always enjoy the different concepts Sam Fox has created and can rely on the consistency of the product. In today's economy, there's a lot to compete with in the Food & Beverage industry and FRC does a really good job with offering fresh dining ideas w/ the slight added comfort of familiarity throughout the company as a whole."

"Love the atmosphere - upscale casual. The service was exceptional. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. he also took care of our special requests with no additional prompting. Our chicken salad sandwiches were fantastic. About the best chicken salad I have had. And the Nutella Chocolate Cake was to die for! We were extremely pleased with everything."

"I agree with most of the recent comments posted here about the food. It was good but not so good that I would absolutely recommend someone come here. I ordered the spicy shrimp pasta, which was probably a mistake given that I've seen other reviews say it was just so-so. My friend ordered a special they had, cioppino. She said it was very good, but again, nothing to rave over. The best part was honestly the bread they serve before the meal. It was absolutely perfect. Soft, with a great flavor. The service was great - the waitress was nice but not overbearing and very helpful. The only real downside wasn't the restaurant's fault. We were seated at a table right bu the door, and the sun was directly in my eyes the entire time."

"The decor and ambience were great. The service was pleasant but very slow, and my order was incorrect when it finally arrived. They had to rush out a new plate for me, and the pesto pasta was a bit watery. My guest had the chicken salad sandwich, and she said it was good. So, I think I was just a little unfortunate."

"The quality of the fish and careful preparation is impressive. Both the Sea Bass and Salmon were fresh and perfectly prepared. The side dishes are less impressive. Eating on the patio gives a welcome alternative to the ear shattering dining room. Service is excellent."

"Honestly North was just ok. To an Italian who appreciates Italian food North was sub par for the overall cost. To me is felt like an Olive Garden for the upper class.
Presentation was sloppy, food was lacking flavor (Our waitress told us they were North Italian with their own spin, I think the spin was lose the flavor), and noodles were a bit thick.
For a Cherry Creek Establishment at a decent price point, I was happy that I got 25% off with a coupon we had. I think they can do a lot better and be constantly packed out, if they put the touch into the food that they did into the ambiance."

"We hadn't been to North for some time, Upon reading the menu I remembered that in the past we had been disappointed in the choices. This was still the case. However, for appetizers I had the burrata, which was excellent. My husband had the soup, which he thought was tasteless. For our main courses, I had the Scottish salmon and he had the spaghetti and meatballs. Both were good."

"I took my fiance to North for her birthday and we had a truly enjoyable experience. The portions were perfect, not overbearing and carb-loaded like many Italian menus. Their homemade pasta was delightful. My fiance had a wonderful lasagna dish, beautifully presented with tasty, crispy noodles. I enjoyed my spicy shrimp dish; however, if you're like me and crave heat, then this dish may not satisfy as I found it quite mild. Our tomato soup and caesar salads were delightful, but the lighter-than-air Zucca chips won the first course battle. We were treated with a free and delicious Nutella cake for my fiance's birthday, courtesy of our non-agressive and knowledgeable waiter. I also felt that the prices were quite reasonable. Enjoy!"

"It's been ages since I actually dined at North. This has been mostly a place for drinks on my list of Cherry Creek locales. On a whim I chose North for a casual business dinner. The food was very average and the service less than average. The server bordered on rude. I had mussels which were ok, but I didn't care for the salami thrown in for flavor. One guest had the pesto pasta dish which was ok but somewhat boring. The tastiest dish at our table was a traditional pasta dish Bolognese."

"For whatever reason, we had never eaten at North in the evenings. Lunches there were always very good. Dinner was excellent, and we'll be back soon.
Arrived early on a Friday. Seated immediately in quiet area. Bar area was "Rocking and Rolling," any tables in close proximity would have had a really noisy setting. Server was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Food served promptly, but not rushed. Presentation was excellent. Food was hot. Portion sizes about right - moderate to large. Food was well seasoned and delicious."

"Caveat: For those customers over 50, do not dine during Prom Week. Crazy loud and it changes the dining experience to one of a chain restaurant. Otherwise, a great "go to" restaurant in general."

"I have been to North several times in the past few years, and each time has been great. The food is unique, and the service has always been friendly. My most recent visit was with company from out of town, as well as others who had never been to North. Everyone had a great time, and we all share the sentiment that we'd like to "do this again soon!"

"The waitress knew her stuff and recommended good food and wine. I had a very nice time with a coworker who enjoyed it too. I like to take out of town guests to North Cherry Creek and find North a great place to eat while in NCC."

"Great spot in Chery Creek for watching the world go by on the sidewalk outside. They make the best "Italian" ptotatoes on the planet...Energetic bar scene during happy hour. Tough to hear your companions and this is not what you would call intimate dining, but fun and hip."

"The food and ambiance is very good. However, the waitress was very pushy with appetizers! It was annoying. Also, the valet said the cost is $7 for valet (which is a lot). When I gave the valet $10, he said thank you. I looked at him and he said that $7 is for the valet company and the rest is for his tip. I should've asked for the $3 back, but I didn't."

"The last two times I requested Michelle as our server. Yet, we were not assigned to her area although she was working the evening of my last visit (I did not see her the other time and cannot speak to whether my request was overlooked on that occasion). While we were pleased with Megan both times, I do have to wonder about why I can make a special request on Open Table and yet not have it honored."

"When we arrived for our 7:30 reservation, we were told that I had not made a reservation for 8, I had made it for 6. That wasn't true, but I asked if they could accommodate us. It was a Saturday night. Within 10 minutes they were able to put together a table. We appreciated that. We are from out of town, but we try to eat here whenever we get to Denver."

"My salmon was excellent, but the happy hour calamari apetizer was unremarkable at best.Our guest had the scallops and pork and said they were both good, but we could tell it they were not overwhelmed. The panna cotta was weak in flavor and overmatched by the toppings."

"They never fail to impress. Ever since I took my girlfriend here for the first time, North has been her favorite. This is a bold statement because I've taken her to the majortity of "Denver's Finest". Always a romantic time, the food was on point, our waiter (though a little quirky) was great, and the hostess was very accomodative in making sure I was given the table I requested when I made my reservation. All in all, I would recommend North to anyone looking for a romantic evening, or even just a group of friends looking for a lively environment."
