"Wow..what a view!! If you can get a table by the window at least on your first visit....go for it.... Overall i think most of the tables would have the same view, the windows are almost the full length of the wall. View aside.... The food was also amazing... Thai Chicken lettuce wraps were great, Filet was cooked perfectly and delicious... My boy friend had the duck and loved it.....If you love desert you must try the Peanut butter Mousse.

"We went for Father's Day and booked the reservation several weeks in advance. They called to confirm and said nothing about being overbooked or anything like that. When we got there, they sat us in the room that connects to the restaurant. It's basically a plain, undecorated, generic conference room. It had none of the charm of the actual restaurant. On top of that it was very crowded and there were looong lines to get lukewarm, mediocre food. When I said to the hostess that we were displeased at being put in a room that isn't even the actual restaurant she just apologized. They didn't even offer us a free drink or something to compensate.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. Definitely will not be going back."

"We dined recently at the Seaglass for Sunday Brunch. The regular menu was not offered (but we didn't ask either so not sure if the brunch buffet was only choice). The food was ok. There were home fries, chicken/pasta, shrimp cocktail, bacon/sausage, carve turkey, roast beef, a fantastic omelet station...a few dessert choices (cookies, petit fours, lemon squares, mini cannoli). The food was ok, nothing super - omelets were the best part. It's a little pricey for what you get ($22.95). Honestly, my family prefers the regular menu. The lunch and dinner choices we've had in the past are outstanding. Brunch is good but for a real treat; go for the regular menu. The staff is super friendly and the view can't be beat."

"This restaurant just seems to get better and better each time I visit. We dined on a busy Friday night and had the option of being seated immediately mid- room, or wait for a table at the window. It was a beautiful evening so we chose the latter. It truly feels like you are right in the ocean. As the waves come rolling in! The food was wonderful: I had the swordfish special and it was perfectly cooked and prepared. I'm always a little leery to order swordfish as it often it comes out dry and overcooked, but not here! My friend had the scallops and she raved about how delicious they were. While there are few other decent restaurants in the area, we think it is a no brainier to always pick Seaglass when coming to Salisbury for a show."

"Service, Ambience, Noise Level rated outstanding. The presentation of the food was beautiful and everything was delicious except the steak tips were chewy. The bourbon brown sugar sauce was delicious and the mashed potatoes and veggie medley were also delicious.....although the steak tips had a nice flavor, they were a little tough. I will go back but I will not order the steak tips or recommend them to our friends."

"The experience was mixed, but mostly positive. The server could have been a bit more "polished" and he disappeared for too long on a couple of occasions. However, when a mistake was brought to his attention, it was corrected quickly and well. The quantity and presentation of the food was very good. Two steaks were a bit over cooked, but the people eating them didn't speak up.

"View was extraordinary and restaurant was clean and staff pleasant and helpful. The food was at nbest mediocre. The chicken in the chicken and pasta was overcooked, dry and chewy, The shrimp in the scampi pasta were bland and tasteless even though to we asked for extra garlic. A real disappointment!"

"Perfect place for special occasion. Made the reservation 2 weeks early requesting table by the window looking at the ocean (not the alley way). Were seated right away and had the perfect spot. Food was outstanding (started with crab cake, entree was shrimp scampi) and the waitress couldn't have been any nicer. Salsa dance lessons free on Thursday nights so we jumped in on that for a bit. Wonderful way to celebrated our anniversary. PS. The cosmos were outstanding : )"

"This is the 2nd time I have eaten here. It is a great place to share a special occasion or for a romantic dinner. The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside is lovely and the view makes you feel like you are on a cruise. I was a little disappointed in my food this time. I had the filet mignon and it was a bit dry. Service was a bit slow, the restaurant was 3/4 full so maybe they were just busy (the waitress did mention there was a show going on next door that night). Overall, it was a nice night out and I would try it again."

"I was not aware when I made a 1:30 reservation this past Sunday that we would only be able to get the brunch menu. The waitress seemed put off when I asked why the regular menu was not available. Though we weren't rushed, our table was right next to the omelette stand and the staff was cleaning up throughout most of our visit. The good news is that everyone in our party was able to find something in the brunch to eat. Which was fortunate because two people have dietary restrictions to consider. I've been to Seaglass before for several special occasions. This visit was my mother's 70th birthday and I wish it had gone better."

"We went on Memorial Day anticipating a crowd but, the restaurant was pretty empty. I think the cooler weather affected the turnout at this beach spot. The staff was very friendly and accommodating Nd the view of the ocean was spectacular! The menu has a nice range of offerings. I had fish and it was cooked nicely. My only complaint was that the kitchen rushed our food. I had barely touched my drink or my salad when my entree arrived. The waiter was very apologetic and comped the salad and a dessert but, on this occasion, I was not pleased to have been rushed."

"This was our 3rd visit and although the first two were very nice, excellent even, this was a disappointment. Mostly an issue of poor service, felt as though we were an afterthought to our waiter. He was too busy to greet us and get us started so the hostess had to come over to take our drink order. When he finally came there wasn't even a greeting, just "are you ready to order". I really expected much, much more from this restaurant. We eventually got bread but it took a while. Then the appetizer and salads came at the same time, so there really wasn't time to enjoy them in 'order'. My salad was rather dry, but the appetizer (calamari and octopus) was better. My entree was too salty. Fortunately my wife's food was better! Won't be back."

"Went this weekend to Seaglass. Made online reservations, but called restaurant to add 1 more person and change time to 1.5 hrs later to 4pm. They made it seem that the place was so mobbed it was hard to change the reservation, but they did. When we got there, I was surprised to see there were only a handful of tables taken. We were seated at a nice window table overlooking the beautiful ocean. Waiter was wonderful! Food was just ok. My haddock oscar was overcooked, as was hubby's swordfish. Shrimp scampi was good, but shrimp had tales on. Waiter did bring a bowl of icecream and chock cake for daughter's birthday. She was delighted. It was very nice. Overall, food was not great and don't think we'll be back unless we try the brunch."

"Service was poor. Waitress never asked us how our food was, didn't refill our drinks, we had to let the ice melt in our glasses. The food wasn't very good. I had the duck special. The duck was very dry and chewy the skin was rubbery and not crispy, the pasta was over cooked the whole plate was very oily. Would not get it again nor recommend it to anyone. Besides the view behind the dirty windows I would not go back again."

"Restaurant with a spectacular setting often disappoint in the food department. Seaglass, set right on the Atlantic Ocean in Salisbury, Mass. back up the spectacular view with good service, good and and a wonderful room. The room is bright, open with floor to ceiling glass so you can watch the Atlantic roll in just out side. We had a group of six. Service was spot on. The sandwiches, soups and chowders all were very good. The clam chowder was particularly well done. Often NE style chowders are so thick as to be like eating paste. This one was well seasoned with just enough body to give it some substance."

"Mother's Day brunch was very nice. Had a reservation for early afternoon, and we were seated immediately. Food was very good - nice selection of brunch, carving station and salad bar. "We went to Seaglass to celebrate birthdays and an anniversary. It met all expectations. Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. I was surprised by how quiet the restaurant felt even with the bar being open to the dining area, and on the day of the Derby no less. "After discovering this restaurant for the first time a week ago, we have been to twice in the past week. The food and ambiance are amazing. On both occasions the service was poor. Neither waitress was attentive, never refilled water glasses, we had to ak for bread, etc. I hope this is improved before the busy season begins!"

"The venue, of course, is unique and outstanding. Calm day on the ocean when we went but would love to ride out a storm there. The specialty cocktail mohito was too sweet with not enough mint mulling. The food and wine selection was very good. Enjoyed the special pan-seared scallops with an Asian influence. Paired that with a reasonably priced Pino Noir.
The sour note for the visit was our waitress. She pulled the wine list away after pre-dinner ordering. Pulled the mussel bowl away before we were done. Gave us wrong wines by mixing up the mini-carafs which we had to send back. Since the concert venue is next door, I'm sure they are used to moving people fast, which is sometimes appreciated. but most of these gaffe's are rookie mistake."

"This is a great restaurant. Food and drink are consistent. Patrons should, however be aware that service, which is normally excellent will be compromised if an event is going on next door in the Blue Ocean. If you are short on time or an impatient personality type, check with the restaurant when making reservations. We forgot and were somewhat edgy, but nonetheless, food was excellent and waitress apologetic."

"We always enjoy dining at the Seaglass especially for the Sunday Brunch and weekday lunches. Whenever we have friends who don't live near the ocean that come to visit, we make a reservation at a window table so they can experience the beauty of where we are. "Our family celebrated "Easter" at a later Sunday brunch. Disappointed with initial seating - right next to what would be a very busy omelet and other food stations. When I called to confirm reservation, I specifically stated we did not want to sit near the food or busy areas. Hostess took note (she said). We were able to change to another table without too much fuss. Still, an annoying way to start our first visit. Food was very good, a variety of fresh and tasty choices. Loved the omelet ordering and table delivery. Suggest some specialty salads and fancier desserts(standard offerings, nothing that popped). Waitress was friendly but busy (had to ask and wait for coffee and water refills). Lovely room with spectacular ocean views!"

"We love this restaurant, our only "issues" are..( being a former waitress) when 2 or more people are drinking the same wine, OFFER a bottle, customers will welcome the offer, instead of the $10-$12 per glass,..Also, there were 2 choices of Sangria on the menu, we only saw one, which was the $8.5 per glass choice,the WAITRESS should have told us about both..NOT assumed we saw both & charged us the top 'priced....also....when people are spending $32.00 for a filet, & there's a substancial piece left on they're plate...the waitress SHOULD assume, that customer wants to "doggy bag" it.....we left to use the ladies room....our guest had 1/2 her steak left,the waitress threw it away without asking!!!!!otherwise, this is a wonderful place to dine!"
