"Felt like I was in an old school comfy family restauarnt....the homemade gnocchi pesto is a MUST.....the pesto was actually being made while we were there....the mushroom risotto was perfect! Desert was divine-tiramisu....after dinner drinks were offered and gladly accepted....my only negative is that the bread was stale and should have been toasted a bit to mask that...otherwise a very enjoyable meal!"

"We went there on Saturday, March 30, 2013. The food and service were excellent. We would definitely go there again next time we are in NYC. Convenient location near Bryant Park.Salad, entrees, and wine were superb and staff was very attentive.M. Lafauce"

"The food was just so-so, and the service left a lot to be desired. None of our servers barely said a word to us and we were in and out of the restaurant in 45 minutes. Not a very relaxing or pleasant experience."

"Been here a few times for lunch with friend's and most recently on a date. The place has great food and service. It's now become one of my favorites for Italian. Definitely worth a look, you won't be disappointed."

"This used to be a quiet, charming, old world Italian restaurant with very good service and very good, reasonably-priced food. Unfortunately, the charm and the very good service are gone. It is still quiet (perhaps because people have stopped coming in the same numbers). The prices are still reasonable, but the charm and the very good food are gone. I took out-of-town guests there recently and was embarassed. I don't plan to return or to recommend it to others."

"I would give it a second chance but at this point I wouldn't recommend it. Went there on an early Friday before the theatre and found a private party had taken up the first floor. Needless to say it was noisy and the regular diners were taken to the second floor, where you could still hear all the noise. Food was good but pricey--it's not as though you would consider this a fine restaurant that can price the meals at a high level. Pasta was fairly priced but I didn't have that so if I were to consider a second visit, I would give the pasta a try."
