"We spent Mothers Day dinner with my whole family and we all had a great time. It's an updated version of Mongolian BBQ and so you are able to have the food the way you like it. We sat on the patio area and there was a DJ playing fun music with people dancing. I highly recommend it."

"When reserving on line, choose patio or indoor otherwise you get first avail. Be prepared for await even with reservations. Don't go starving. Watch your meal as it is cooking. Our party of four got all the wrong sauces on our grilled selections. Once mine was corrected it was very good. Not for small children. I will be better prepared if there is a next time."

"After waiting in line, it was just more waiting in line. It felt more like a glorified cafeteria than anything else. Had zero atmosphere! The advertising didn't match what we arrived to. It was nearly all teenagers or very young adults. Even though we had reservations, we didn't stay to eat."

"Always love Fire And Ice Bar and Grill. It's a fun atmosphere with plenty of food choices made just the way you like. Went on a Saturday evening which is likely the peak of crowd. Would recommend that you try a different evening if it's your first time, since it's very crowded around the grill. Another suggestion, if you have older folks in your party make sure that when you make reservations that you say you need low chairs or a booth as most tables (inside) are raised - makes getting up and down for the grill quite a bit more difficult especially for the older folks in the party."

"We had a reservation for 10 for Saturday brunch. The bloody Marys were great and everyone in our grouped loved their food. From the made to order ommellettes and pancakes to the fresh fruit, everything was delicious. We were all impressed by the quality of the food and the very friendly wait staff only added to the experience. We will definitely make Fire & Ice part of our next trip to Southern California."

"The 2 hour maximum is a killer because lines gets so long that mist of your time there is waiting for the wok. There was 1 choice of soup and the salad bar was small. Not much of a variety for a buffet. And the restaurant will only validate your parking stub at 2 hours even when you might have been there longer. Had to pay an additional $3 because of waiting in line."

"This was my first time there. The food selection wasn't what I expected but overall my dinig experience was "okay". We had to ask for silverware, the server didnt make any suggestions even though we told her we were 1st timers, the grill had a long line, the server didnt bother to check on us, and the condiments on the table were empty. I wouldn't regularly frequent this place. Although we didn't have any kids with us, we noticed that it wasn't very kid friendly."

"After reading several good reviews, we tried Fire & Ice and were disappointed. Maybe we had the wrong expectations. But, the combination of a modified salad bar + sauté/noodle bar and the frenetic ambiance experience of trying to build your own ingredient bowls along with those of your kids (we have three) was just too much. The staff were friendly but completely in over their heads, and all they had to do was deliver drinks. It was too much work and not at all relaxing, which is the opposite of what you want after "working" all day fighting the crowds at Disneyland."

"My group of 10 people were seated outside as it was starting to rain. The wait staff told us that we would have umbrellas and heaters by our table. When we sat down there were no umbrellas put over our table. I asked our waiter if we could get some umbrellas put over our table, but they said no because it would create a fire hazard. I asked her if she had a plan on how she would be accommodating us if it started raining and she blankly stared at me without answering. The minute our appetizers arrived the skies opened up and it started pouring down rain. Our ticket was comped, but they shouldn't have been seating people outside in the rain."

"Had a great time, food was awesome. The chefs at the big grill were fun and entertaining. We had a party of 21 and our waitress was on the go but did a good job. The hostess at the front that confirmed my reservation was rude and made us feel like they hate big parties. Told me if my whole party wasn't there ten minutes after our reservation time they would cancel it?? And we had a two hour table limit? It ended up that our party was there by 7 and we were sitting out on the patio for 3 hours with no issue. Overall we loved it and have been many times and will go back again."

"Fire + Ice is a "mongolian bbq" style restaurant. There's a separate salad bar, which is not something I usually see, so that was nice. Like other places, you fill a bowl with raw meat, rice/noodles/whatever and veggies and spices, get some sauce, and they cook it up on a huge round grill. Fire + Ice also had things like hamburgers and hotdogs, which is probably helpful for those people bringing younger children along.
Over all, a decent price for unlimited food that is basically as good as you are as a chef."

"Looks to be a good place to hang out- happy hour, decent bar list. Not so good for a romatic date night, which was what we were hoping for. Would be a better choice for girls/guys night out. We were told to come back for brunch, which we are interested in. Waitstaff was helpful and pleasant, but not entirely knowlegeable about special holiday menus, or regarding wine selection. Sadly, we ended up going to another restaurant for Valentine's Day, since Fire+Ice turned out to be so causal, but we are intrigued enough to come back with some friends. We left shortly after being seated, so we did not try any of the menu (the scoring above for food is based on the appearance of the buffet, since we did not eat.)"

"Our group had a wonderful time at Fire + Ice. Everyone there was great. The only problem, more so to the restaurant than us, is the busy-ness of the Gardenwalk. There are several great places there, but a lot of the volume has dissipated.
Food:
Great. You get to get the food you want. Variety is wonderful for large parties. The only downside is if you're not much of a cook, they don't have a guide with the sauces. Perhaps a small chart would be helpful.

Host was great, but she seemed anxious to help, since there weren't that many guests there on a weekday. Not a bad thing, I guess. Server was super knowledgeable and confident. Bartender was friendly.
