"Took my mom for Mother's Day. I had been there often and had a positive experience each time. Mom loved the attention, the atmosphere, and the food. Besides the menu they had several breakfast choices for extremely moderate prices. Mom had one of the breakfast specials which was attractively served with fresh fruit and potatoes. I ordered the beef medallions served with a portabella mushroom, mashed potatoes and steamed spinach, it was very good and again reasonably priced. The atmosphere was simple and elegant and conducive to conversation. The restaurant took reservation and served, there was not a buffet. Both were what we needed as Mom has a hard time at a buffet and I hate to wait for a table."

"Food was Great, wine selection was excellent, Service was a little slow though.
A partnering table, half the size of our party, received their appertizers before we even ordered. And we arrived 5 minutes before that other party.
The dinner process was just a little long, over 2 hour. Arrived at 6:35, and immediately seated, left out of the restaurant at 8:55. (And our deserts serving was 2 KIDS Meal sundaes - so had the adults ordered desert, we would have been there past 9)"

"I have eaten at Stone Creek on numerous occasions and the food and service has always been excellent. The restaurant was very busy Saturday evening but the service was slow and inefficient. Everyone in our party of 4 thought the food was mediocre at best. Quite a disapointment."

"Had a 7:30 reservation and had to wait 20 minutes before we were seated. Ordered the Ponzu Pork appetizer and it came from the kitchen before our waiter was back to take our order. At that time, we said we would wait until after our appetizer to order since we were eating it and I don't like to have to place an order while I'm trying to enjoy the app. When he came back to take our order, he told that our dinner could take a while because of large parties ahead of us, which would have been nice to know and maybe I would have gone ahead and ordered while eating the app. I enjoyed the app but not my meal (pork chops were way too salty), while my husband didn't like the app but loved his meal (blackened Mahi Mahi)."

"The overall experience of the restaurant was not bad. The service was good and the atmosphere was great. My problem is that I ordered a medium well filet. What was brought to me was totally different. My steak was burnt! No hint of pink at all. Not only that but it was very dry. Who wants to eat a dry filet? Not me. Of course they offered to remake it for me but I declined. I may give this place another try but then again I may not."

"We had a group of 8 people, and the overall dining experience was nice. The only problem I had was that we did not realize gratuity would be added to the total, since our check was only for 2 people, even though we were in a group of 8. Anyway, we left a cash tip of $16 for the waiter and a tip was already added in the total. So, the waiter received a $30 tip just from us two. No one ever leaves that big of a tip, and we thought it was unprofessional that he did not mention it to us. We will probably not come back to this restaurant."

The only negative was it was a little difficult to get over to the brunch and back through that very narrow hallway. The restaurant was not at full capacity, so it was manageable - but if it was packed, I think our experience would not have been as pleasant."

"My wife and I had a great experience at Stone Creek. I had the 8oz. Filet and my wife had the Seafood Broil with mahi, scallops, shrimp and crab cakes. My filet was cooked perfectly to temp and was nearly fatless. My wife spoke highly about everything except the mahi. It was a little dry (but it was such a small piece it was understandable). Taste was also great. I could have used a little more flavor after the wonderfully spicy dipping oil (great jalapeño infusion!). We also loved the paintings. It made for some great conversation about how we could incorporate that style in our home! We will return soon and recommend Stone Creek to our friends and family."

With no one there they still attempted to seat us at a table that was obviously for a busy night. not an open table ( there were only 3 people in our party. We were very dissapointed. The restaurant is beautiful just did not live up to the hype. We may give it a chance at a more popular time...not sure.. really dissapointed!!"

"STONE CREEK WEST CHESTER IS ALWAYS FANTASTIC, FOOD, SERVICE, AMBIANCE.
HOWEVER, THIS TIME WE WERE SEATED IN A BACK ROOM USUALLY RESERVED FOR BANQUETS, PARTIES, WEDDINGS, ETC. THE ROOM WAS FREEZING COLD, THE LIGHTS WERE AT FULL GLARE, THE NOISE BOUNCED OFF THE WOODEN WALL PANELS.
WE ASKED SEVERAL TIMES TO TURN OFF THE AIR CONDITIONING, IT WAS WINTER WEATHER OUTSIDE, AND FELT JUST AS COLD INSIDE. THE LADIES WORE THEIR COATS DURING COCKTAILS, DINNER AND DESSERT.
THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT, THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT, THE ROOM WOULD HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT IF THE LIGHTING WAS DIMMED A LITTLE AND THE HEAT TURNED ON A BIT.
WE WILL RETURN, BUT WILL REQUEST NOT BEING SEATED IN THE BACK ROOM AGAIN.
OTHERWISE, THIS IS ONE OF OUR FAVORITE"

"Went out with Family for a birthday dinner. We all had a good time and the food was very good. Would be one of those special occasion places as I don't think I could spend that kind of $$ every week. We did not feel rushed at all during our time there and overall had a very nice evening with the Family."

"Not impressed...doubt we'll be going back. First, the good: the service was very good. Our server did everything he could to make our meal enjoyable, and the manager did a nice job dealing with our situation. Rightly so, he did not charge us for my wife's meal, and he even offered free dessert. Now the bad: the kitchen failed miserably. My wife ordered the filet, cooked medium. The first delivery was well done; the second was rare; and, thankfully, they got it right on the third attempt. Unfortunately, my meal wasn't much better. I had the Chicken Provençal, and while it was tasty the chicken was overcooked and dry...strike three."

"It was my husband's birthday. All of us ordered something different, and it was all great! The french onion soup is really good. I ordered the chicken scallopini which was perfect. I recommend the chocolate mousse and the creme brulle for dessert. I highly recommend Stone Creek!"

"My husband and I eat regularly at Stone Creek Montgomery. The service, food and atmosphere in West Chester is very different and disappointing to say the least. We've tried the West Chester location on more than one occasion and can say without reservation that the Montgomery location offers more dependable service and food. This last visit to West Chester offered a dining experience under the bright glare of overhead lights without a way to dim them, and a 30 minute wait for our food. The server would do better to not make so many excuses but rather just do his best to fix the experience. Diners don't need to know or even want to know that there are problems in the kitchen. To end on a positive note, we will return to Montgomery."
