"It was amazing. I took my mother for a late Mother's Day dinner and we loved it. I had the chef's special Red Snapper with crusted shrimp and it was the best fish I have ever tasted. Evrything was seasoned to perfection. The Banana Foster was especially tasty and warm. I'm not a fan of pecans, the the pairing of the butter pecan ice cream was heavenly. Do not come to this place without having their banana foster."

"We introduced another couple to Eddie V's also celebrating their Wedding Anniversary. He is an Executive Chef and she is a Restaurant Manager. Whenever, we can enjoy dinner out and They find absolutely "nothing to complain about" we know we have found a gem. Food, Service, Ambience all Perfect. Thanks again for a wonderful evening!"

I think many people don't know about Eddie V's and that's why the crowd for Mother's Day Brunch was light. I'm sure the evenings are full. "My husband and I were celebrating a wedding anniversary and the staff could not have made our evening more enjoyable. Our waiter was fantastic - knew our names, very personable, gave us a card signed by the staff, made a rose-petal heart around our wine bottle, and we received a complimentary dessert, decorated with "Happy Anniversary - 33 years". The manager came over to wish us well, as well as another staff member. The food was excellent, great wine menu and impeccable service all around."

We would definitely recommend this place. The consensus for the best entree was the Chilean Sea Bass. Make time to have a drink in the bar where there is live jazz. They brought desert and it was awesome."

"We went to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversay, and they had our table set up with a card and rose petals. The food was outstanding, but the waiter, who did a good job, was a little too over friendly. We were trying to have a romantic dinner for two and instead he spent most of the evening "chatting" with us...it became a dinner for three. Not so romantic. He also brought out our courses so close together that we were done with dinner in 48 minutes flat! Glad we had made other plans for our anniversary. Would recommend the place for its food! But maybe go with a group, not for a romantic evening."

"We went for my husband's birthday and had a wonderful time. The staff did a great job and the food was great. The dessert, Bananas Fosters cheesecake, was delicious and the presentation was awesome!"

"My second time at Eddie V's Dallas and this time was better then the first!!! I didn't think that was possible. This time around I was more willing to really explore the menu and every selection was amazing!!! The Bananas Foster will bring you to your knees :-). A must go for girls night out or date night! Order an American Mule, you won't regret it!!"

"Excellent seafood, excellent service, wonderful for special occasion. But...Check the band that's playing. We were there last weekend to celebrate a personal event, and they had the band was playing the absolute worst music, totally off for the cool jazz/sophisticated ambience of the restaurant. We love the food and the service and will go back and give it another chance, but we'll check the band style before we go."

"Steaks were phenomenal, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Side dishes also excellent (truffle mac & cheese, Parmesan fries, asparagus). Dessert was also excellent (flambé banana foster). Had a great dinner, will definitely return."

"Everything was wonderful about dinning there my only complaint would be the price ;) steep for my budget but it was an anniversary dinner - dinner for two cost us about $200 I'd say if you have the money to spend it's delightful!"

"What a pleasant surprise...In town for the NCAA tournament and needed a place on a Sunday evening, Easter Sunday to make it even more difficult. Of the three high end restaurants we visited over the five days we were in town, this by far would be the top of the list. We walked in to hear a great jazz group playing some soft contemporary jazz, we were seated immediately and the waiters were there immediately with menus and asking our preference on drinks. I had a great 16 Oz strip Pittsburgh Style and my wife had Grouper that was prepared to perfection. This has to be one of the top 5 restaurants in the Dallas metro area. You won't be disappointed in this Dallas Gem."

"My wife had the "special" which was Halibut in one of the best sauces I have ever tasted. We usually go to Roy's for the best seafood, but the quality of the Halibut dish was sensational. Then to finish with the signature banana dessert was an added bonus, DO NOT MISS THIS DESSERT. I may skip dinner next visit and order two desserts."

"We just keep coming back for more. The food, again, was exceptional -- if pricey. Not mentioning the price of seabass is borderline deceptive in my book, but it's quality and preparation make up for the sticker shock. I commend our waiter who directed us to a Laird Family Chardonnay not on the list. It was spectacular. Whether it's in Austin or Fort Worth or Dallas, the consistency at Eddie V's just can't be beat."
