"Though it is a little pricey, the Mother's Day Brunch at Georges was fabulous. We had an early seating (10am), so were able to sit outside and have a great deal of privacy as the patio was not even close to full at that time. The brunch itself was delicious with a wide variety of choices (seafood, salad, prime rib, omelet station, etc). We ordered the beignets, french toast and scramble off the menu and were equally happy with those choices. Would recommend this Mother's Day brunch to others."

"This was a delicious meal. It was our second time there, and it was as good as the first time. The buffet had more food than we could even try to taste. All of it was exceptional, especially the salmon and the Gruyere mac and cheese. Not a fan of the french toast, but the beignets are amazing. Desserts were a bit disappointing--they tasted and looked kind of like they went to Costco rather than the fresh, homemade French treats we would expect for the location and the price. However, the actual food made up for it. Not sure what they do to the steamed shrimp, but we have never had any so good anywhere--and they were giant-sized. Ambiance is delightful at Georges no matter the time of day. I highly recommend."

"Most of my team had never been to the restaurant and absolutely love it! Of course we loved the mussels (Dijon and Fiery), the trout special and dessert! We will definitely be back, especially since we found out they have function rooms for meetings and events!"

"This was a nice restaurant . I made a reservation prior to our visit. I met a girlfriend who I had not seen for almost a year. We arrived at 5:00. The waiter took 10 min to come to our table. We were served water by the hostess. We ordered a few glasses of wine, appetizer, dinner, dessert and coffee. Our bill was 155.00 including gratuity. The manager approached our table about7:38 and said, " I know you ladies are catching up but could we move this conversation to the bar. These are high demand tables and we usually allow 2 to 2 1/2 hours. We were both shocked, and said ok. After we processed his request for a minute, we both thought he was very RUDE! We were about to leave and there were other tables available."

Waitress attentive but did not seem to know relatively limited wine list, but we did manage to find an excellent wine for our meal.
My cassoulet was drowning in bread crumbs. Below that it was delicious, however, and quite filling. My wife's salmon was done perfectly, with a nice crust.
Cheese plate was wonderful. Patio looks great but bad weather unfortunately kept us indoors. Overall a very good dining experience for our anniversary. We will go again to try the moules & frites."

"This was not George's best show. It was prom night and private party night. They were not prepared to handle all of the extra groups. We arrived early to have a drink in the bar. While the bar tender was very nice, he was not at all attentive ater we told him that we were not having dinner at the bar. My husband had to get up from his stool and walk over to the far end of the bar to ask for a drink for each one in our group. Once we were seated at the table our waitress would stay away for very long periods of time. Again she was very nice but seemed to be distracted in another room. My food was not much better. I ordered the Halibut special which they were out of. Then I ordered the pork chop which was too undercooked."

"Have been to Georges several times but this time was a little disappointed. I made a reservation and was seated in the sun on the outskirts of the patio outside. I ordered the Eggs Benedict Florentine for brunch which had way too much sauce on it. Asked to have the eggs with salad greens on the side instead of hash browns and was told this could be done. Was given fruit instead. That said, I love the menu options and atmosphere."

"Early dinner for 8 on a Saturday night. Love the service here - well informed about the menu; never feel rushed; waiter was very accommodating to every request. Oysters from the raw bar were wonderful - trust the waiter on choices. The salad of the day is always delicious so we recommend tyring it over the others. Cheese tray was wonderful - nice selection. Entrees - pork chop, scallops, lobster, trout, crab cakes - all perfect. The Georges cut steak was the single letdown- dry and not tender. Coffee drinks are all very good. Overall our new favorite place in town for a relaxing, enjoyable evening with quality food you can count on."

"My wife and son took my wife to Sunday brunch for her birthday. The restaurant was busy, especially on the patio, but we were seated right away with our reservation. The patio is a beautiful location when the weather is nice, as it was this day.
My wife and son have multiple food allergies, but our server was very accomodating. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for what we got.

"I dined at Georges for Easter brunch. It was a very delicious spread that included the most amazing salmon, gruyere grits and beet salad. The waiter was very friendly but a little slow on the service. I ate outside so I cannot comment on the ambiance inside. I would definitely recommend for a day date and hope to return again but this time for dinner."

"I think I've said it all when it comes to Georges-- it never disappoints. Terrific service, extraordinary food, great wine list. I know there are great chefs in the kitchen-- the food is made by people who know how the best food should taste and don't mind taking the time and expense to provide it to Georges customers. My last visit: wonderful martini, butternut squash bisque, pork chop ( 2 inches thick) over gruyere polenta. Yum !!"

"The oyster service here is excellent and is in itself cause for a visit. Menu items are hit and miss. Mussel dishes are tasty, as are the substantial salads. Pass on the burger. Frites are generic. Request the semi circular booths. The bar is spacious, comfy, and sleek. Service is excellent, attentive and knowledgeable."
