"Mojito fan? Then you have to go to Paladar! The sugarcane sticks in each one make them off the hook!
The Ropas Veja is AWESOME! The fresh guac choices are incredible (I had the pumpkin seed guac and it ROCKED).
The french toast was ok, more of a holiday type french toast (tasted like Christmas), and I thought it should be cooked a little more."

"We really enjoyed our dining experience at Paladar. The wait staff were courteous and did not have to wait long for our food. Happy hour was a good deal with great moijtoes and Latin American appetizers affordable at $5 each. We went back for Mother's Day for brunch. The food and staff were excellent again, would like to go back to try some more of their dishes."

"I absolutely loved my dinner at Paladar. I went there for my Birthday with my family and everyone loves their meals. I enjoyed everything from my drink to my dessert. The service was great and after dinner the manager walked over to table and asked if we enjoyed our meals and the service. The atmosphere is great as well and the drink menu has lots to choose from. I definitely will return to Paladar!"

"Had went there twice and ordered two different plates. First plate was very bland well at least the meat. Being a Hispanic from the Caribbean. I notice their Spanish term were a little off. Honestly for being a Latin restaurant they seem to not have many dishes from the Caribbean. Most dishes seem to be Mexican dishes. As well I am started to believe that the owner of the restaurant insert from Hispanic culture. Overall if the restaurant is going to be claim Latin they need to add more dishes from Caribbean origin. Not just have salsa music."

"This is the second time I have chosen to have my birthday dinner at Paladar and the second time I've had really bad service. This last time, it took an unacceptable amount of time to for someone to even take our drink order. Someone brought us water after a noticeably long time and they didn't ask for our drink order. Finally, our server showed up and asked for our drink order and eventually our food order. The food was delivered by someone other than our server, and we didn't see our server for way too long. No refills, no checking to see if our food came out ok. We finally had to ask someone to find our server. Then someone, not our server, came to our table. The service was neglectful at best. Very disappointing."

"Table of eight gathered after work to celebrate the birthday of one our guests. Ian was our server and was right on time from start to finish! Great personality,attentive and since everyone did not arrive on time, he was still able to be where we needed him when we needed him.Four of our guests are excellent cooks and three of them are sons and daughter of Latino parents, and are accustomed to good Latin cooking. I must say the cooks at Paladar kept us happy and truly satisfied with each dish, since we are all used to sharing great food together.From the Seafood Veracruz to the Jamaican Curried Shrimp, to the tender and tasty short ribs, every dish was delicious and well worth a repeat trip. WE SHALL RETURN!!"

"Paladar has always been a my go-to restaurant when I don't know what I'm feeling for but yet I want to treat myself and my wife to a good dinner. We've so far (after 12+ visits) never had a bad visit to Paladar. This time around, we tried their Coconut Curry Vegetable, which I have tried in the past and has been awesome. Since my last visit, they have added a "Charred Tomato and Corn Salsa" which was probably their best salsa yet. And we finally gave in to try their Mexican Chocolate Cake dessert (which I had with the Mexican Cafe Mocha) and that was amazing as well. As I've mentioned in the past, there's never been a bad experience for me."

"Yo amo Paladar!!! They have great traditional spanish food! I had the yuca, plantains, empanadas, and ropa vieja. Each one made us very happy. The menu is filled with great options and everything we ordered smelled and tasted great! Even the bar has great small bites on their menu. The rum was a bit over priced but having the flight allowed us to sample different rums without killing our pockets. I'll be back."

"We love Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar in Cleveland, Ohio so decided to try the Virginia location. Unfortunately, the food was a great disappointment. Hostess staff seated us immediately - they were friendly and professional. Server was very friendly and attentive. Guacamole was runny compared to Cleveland restaurant. Ordered the shrimp & grits which was excellent in Cleveland and found the shrimp to be chewey and small - most likely it was overcooked; also the sauce was very greasy. We ordered the mahi mahi recommended by the server and it too was overcooked making it very dry. Probably will not return to this location"

"If you LOVE to drink, this is the place for you. Their drink menu is incredible as well as their food. My ONLY complaint is the table size. They serve meals on decent size plates and if you order drinks, appetizers and meal it takes some fancy maneuvering to get it all to fit. I'm looking so forward to coming here again!"

"I made reservations on recommendation from one of your La Paladar card holders. I brought 2 friends with me and we were seated in the main dining room.
We could not have been more pleased with the knowledgeable service. Our waiter knew EVERY item on the menu. We had the guacamole trio for a starter and drinks. Our meals were delivered hot and delicious. We could not resist sharing tastes around the table! The Passion Fruit Glazed Pork Chop won out... so juicy and many layers of flavor. We will be back!"

"There is free valet parking, which was nice. They take reservations, which was also nice, since we went on a Friday night. With pretty much any entree, you can add on a side salad for $3.95. There are three to choose from. I chose the Spinach and Bacon salad, which was delicious! Wish I would have just ordered a bigger one for my entree because I was disappointed with my entree. I was drawn to the sandwiches (there are four to choose from) in part because they came with sweet potato fries which I love. The fries were good, but the sandwich wasn't. I ordered the El Cubano Sandwich ($11.95) which was highlighted as one of their "specials." Ordered Palada Churros ($7.95) for dessert, which were very good!"
