"The food and service at this restaurant were fantastic. We came for Mother's Day and were able to make a reservation easily at the last minute, and did not have to wait to be seated. Our waiter was Italian and very nice and helpful. Explained all our questions about the menu. Service was quick, food was excellent. All the pasta is homemade and delectable. The atmosphere was casual, not intimidating, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We will definitely return to cafe Bella Italia."

"This was our second visit to this restaurant. Our first visit was almost a perfect experience! Based on that we had planned to make this place a weekly must-do! It took a while for us to get acknowledged at the reception area, along with other folks who had just arrived as well. The noise level was ridiculously noisy, as if I was at an outdoor market. The bread was not the same as our last visit. The food was mediocre, and not memorable at all. Really disappointed in the inconsistentcy. Service was slow. We had to keep reminding our server about the water and it took forever to get our entree order taken. We had already finished our appetizers before our server had come back to get our entree order!"

"We have been here a few times but were initially referred here by an Italian friend after my European husband was missing some traditional pizza. The pizza is great! Pricey but worth it. This visit wasthreat overallt! We skipped the pizza to change it up and ordered some starters that were amazing. Highly recommend the mushroom & Gorgonzola bruschetta. The caprese salad wasn't as good. The burrata was fresh but it was basically one ball of cheese and three cherry tomatoes w a basil sauce. Bit of a loose interpretation for the price. I ordered the parmigiana which was melt-in-your-mouth excellent. Make it a point to try this at least once! The hubby got the special of gnocchi with asparagus in cream sauce. It wasn't warm. Overall delish!"

"Cafe Bella Italia is a great experience from the moment you walk up. If you're looking for the amply found, ho-hum, cheapy food of PB, then it is not what you're looking for. However, if you're looking for a place that is a bit nicer, has high-quality food, and great service by people who really know their Italian, it is one of my top pics in the area. Simply put, Cafe Bella Italia is a gem in PB. Don't get me wrong, I do love PB and a number of the other restaurants there, but I'm not ALWAYS looking for a cheese steak, pizza, burrito, or sushi. During those times, I'll be frequenting Cafe Bella Italia much more often. Next step? Have to check out Tuesday night when there is no corkage fee when you bring your own bottle of wine."

"This was our second time dining at Bella Italia, and it was just as good as we had remembered. Homemade pasta, fresh meat and fish, attentive owners and servers, great ambiance. The Salame dessert is out of this world. Highly recommended!!"

"My husband, 16 year old son, and I ate here one Fri night. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, and we had a table near the windows in the front. My meal was unremarkable, but the other two really enjoyed theirs. My husband was told he was getting Sea Bass, but they brought him Halibut instead which he preferred. My son had the seafood stew dish which he really liked. The bread and dipping sauces were excellent. My husband is a conniseur of tiramisu. It was just average in his book. The wine was very good. Probably wouldn't go back - wasn't it isn't as good as the Italian restaurant in Hillcrest that everybody raves about."

"We were at Caffe Bella Italia on a busy night - Valentines Day - and the staff was, nevertheless, pleasant, helpful and unhurried. The food was absolutely delicious. It was our first visit, but we will definitely return."

"We had to move to a different table three times, it was the night after valentines so luckily it wasn't packed. They tried to sit us inside but the music was so loud I couldn't hear my boyfriend talk, then outside in the front was nice until some guy across the street reminded us we were still in PB by camping in the parking lot and playing his base all the way up in his car for about an hour, setting off car alarms, etc. so we moved to the back patio which looked to be a relatively new addition to the building and wasn't quite as nice, but at least we could time out the loud music from across the street! Bf got squid ink lobster ravioli and I ordered some kind of mixed seafood spaghetti, we checked in on yelp and got a complimentary app."

"I read a few reviews before heading here for valentines day. Luckily my girlfriend isn't to picky the waiter was kind of over bearing. Then once food came out her steak was not cooked as she asked. But the ambience and wine was cool"

"Great atmosphere! The food was delicious! It was surprisingly light for italian food. We also enjoyed the wines. I had the lasagne verde, it was tasty and just enough food to not overwhelm. My friend had the ravioli and they loved it. The pizzas are wonderful also. I recommend having a pasta dish."
