"There were 8 of us dining on May 12th and the food was fabulous! The Flame offers a free bottle of wine for every 2 diners. The staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable. It gets complicated settling a bill amongst 8 women but they did it expertly : )"

"The Flame used to be a favorite until our last visit. The bread basket that was a fixture for years and among the best in town, was replaced with ordinary plastic tasting dinner rolls. The excuse given, cost. Don't fix it if it ain't broke. Charge if you have to but insulting the customer by skimping on a signature part of the dining experience is cheap and petty.Lots of competition downtown so we'll pass on the Flame.
Attempted to reach Alex at the hotel as suggested by Review Journal critic Heidi Rinella, but no one responded. Forgot to mention, the bottle of wine as ordered, was not available. The replacement was warm and needed to be chilled before serving. Looks like the Flame has gone out."

"We are from out of town and met Las Vegas friends for dinner. We started at 7 and talked until 9:30! The staff never bothered us while we caught up on news. The food was delicious, as usual (we always have one dinner here when we are in Vegas) and service was much swifter than in the past. This was a Thursday night."

"We always enjoy The Flame. Our meal was superb. The filets were cooked exactly as ordered and were extremely tender. The Flame's sides are really outstanding. We ordered the asparagus, split a baked potato (because they are enormous) and had the creamed corn, as dish we always order because it is so good. As it was my birthday, we got a free cheesecake slice for dessert. All that food, with tax and tip came to less than $100...that's a great deal in Vegas!"

"We arrived late so the place was dead! But the steaks and sides were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and well-priced. Our server was very helpful and did not try to rush us, even though we were obviously his last table. We'll come again, since we love a good reasonably-priced steakhouse. But we will come earlier in the evening so we don't feel so awkward. The food was that good!
And the Elvis impersonators performing in the bar outside the restaurant were awesome too!"
