"Dining at Sarpa is always a very good experience. We are always greeted and seated by the Manager Michael. He ensures our order is correct and to taste. He always stops by for a friendly conversation. I moved our reservation up from 6:30 to 5:30 with no issues. Service is very attentive. One of my favourite dining restaurants and will always return."

"If you live anywhere near Richmond Hill and haven't tried Sarpa .. then you really should. The authentic Italian menu is not as good as any downtown restaurant it is BETTER than most. The menu changes seasonally but the restaurant also offers daily features that exceed my expectations every time. Staff is aways warm and welcoming with none of the attitude you may experience with a downtown restaurant of the calibre. Extensive wine list with prices that range from reasonable to over the top - many choices at both ends of the spectrum."

"We had a late seating. Food was excellent. Service was quite slow to get started but finished much better. The restaurant had had several parties earlier but having four empty tables around us made you wonder why you were waiting."

"Loved the USDA prime steak! Wasn't expecting to find that at an Italian restaurant, but it was the best steak I've had. It was 42.95 but well worth it, and much less than I would of paid for a steak of that caliber at any steakhouse! Great wine list! My only complaint is they ran out of cheesecake, which I was looking forward too! But the room was packed, so I guess I understand."

"Amazing! I love Terra and this has been my first dinner at Sarpa. Scallops and Steak done to perfection. Our servers went beyond our expectations.
We found the restaurant rather noisy. There were a few large parties with small children and one child decided to scream at full throttle and others ran around the restaurant. I consider this venue to be upscale based on the price point alone and as much as I love children, this is not the place to entertain them. I don't think this would deter me from returning but I may choose to dine later."

"Appetizers were very good. Excellent. Downtown pricing for Oak ridges was a little surprising. Pasta was just okay. Service was great. The only real issue is having to listen to a super loud guido with orange pants that decided to sit in the dining room and yell so everyone can hear him. He was sitting with the manager. I can't believe the manager didn't realize he was disturbing the patrons. Couldn't even have conversation at our table. So we ate and left. This would never happen at Sorrentos on major Mack. The owner would have thrown him out the window if he was disturbing patrons."

"Food was spectacular as usual. Server was perfect for our ladies group. He was very funny and seemed like he genuinely enjoyed his job. Sarpa continues to handle my food allergies in the best way possible and have never had an issue with my meal there due to my allergies."

"Based on price of food service should have been much better. We would return again to seeif we have a better experience, since the food is excellent. Prices are same as going out in downtown Toronto to similar establishment. It's nice that it's easy to park and casual, however it is far north of the city so really more appropriate for locals."

"I really had my hopes up for this place. I made a last minute valentines day booking for me and my lady, and we were both very underwhelmed. Starter salad with goat cheese was pretty good, but the mains were average at best. Maybe it was what we ordered. We had some some sort of sea bass (benzoni?) which we both found to be way too "fishy." The vegetables were barely there, although my gf really enjoyed the mashed. We also had chicken parmesan which was nothing to write home about. Service was good considering the place was quite busy. Perhaps I'll try it again someday, but I'd stick with the pasta. It's also quite expensive but that was no surprise."
