Fahrenheit is the South Bay’s premiere venue for dining, entertainment and special events. With innovative design concepts by award winning designer Jones Baker. "I've eaten here four times and have enjoyed the meals. However, this particular meal was the first time I found the entree fish to be very salty, but the side vegetables and salad were well prepared. I would recommend this restaurant."

"Even though our entrees were good, we got off to a slow start. When one of our group ordered iced tea, we were told that the iced tea maker had been broken for a few days, and the white wine we wanted wasn't yet chilled. After we ordered an appetizer for the table, we didn't receive it for almost 20 minutes. Our waiter was very nice but it seems that kitchen management was lacking."

"Food and service were both good. We had hummus and a Ceaser wedge which were both excellent. I had huge rib eye and my wife had gnocchi, which were also good. One bummer: the rib eye was the most expensive entree and we ordered a bottle of wine, yet the manager up charged us to change the veggie on the steak - bush league."

"I thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Fahrenheit restaurant. I went with my husband for our 28th anniversary and enjoyed the food from the appetizer to the complimentary dessert. And the waitress was wonderful. I will and have recommended this place and I will definitely come back."

"There is a hidden gem downtown San Jose. It's not hidden in the sense that it's hard to find, in a secluded part of town, or some back alley. In fact it is prominently located on the corner of Third and San Fernando. The Fahrenheit Ultra Lounge is a restaurant, hiding in a Nightclub's shadow!
The amazing thing about Fahrenheit is that on a Friday night, you can go there and get a fantastic meal, at a reasonable price, with great service."

"Wow, you can NOT judge a book by it's cover. We thought this was some kind of trendy nightclub, which it maybe late at night, but over the dinner hours it is a fine dining treasure. Seriously, the food was fantastic, the place was eligant and romantic, the wines were excellent, and prices were very reasonable. I think they must have kidnapped the chef from a 5-star resturant in France because the flavors were incredible. This is a definite favorite for us."

"Even with very good food and great service I only give it a FAIR rating.
The reason ? They tacked on a mandatory 20% tip and it was only my wife an I.
Not a party of 6-8 or more, 2 people ! Not cool. I decide what to tip.
I probably would have given 20%, just don`t tell me what to do.
Will not be back and told many others what they did."

"I went here with my fiance for our 7 year anniversary and we were very disappointed. We never complain when we eat out but this was bad. His burger was great but my gnocchi was HORRIBLE and very small portion. I ended up switching it for the chicken which took forever but it was good. They gave us a drink menu and when we would ask for a drink they would say they couldn't make it because they were out of that ingredient. How do you not have mint if it's in a lot of your drinks, come on. Very slow service and we were moved three times. Not impressed. Hopefully just a bad night."

"We were there early (6p) on a Saturday night for dinner before the opera.
Very quiet, so we sat at the bar for dinner. The bartender made a couple very good Sidecar's for us to start. We split pork belly and this&that appetizer, Crispy Duck for the main - all were good but can't say great. If in the area again I'd likely stop a bit later in the evening to try again."

"From reading other reviews we knew this was more of a Lounge that served food and we were looking for a late night dinner on a weeknight. There were only 2 other tables that were eating food. I got a shrimp pasta and my husband a burger. The were both OK and took a very long time to come out - 30+ mins. It did not live up the to expectation of the other reviewers."
