"I've been to Tano twice, and both times cleaned my plate--that never happens for me in restaurants, where the food is generally predictable. The restaurant is tucked into historic downtown Loveland, by the bike trail. It's low-key, nice, friendly, affordable, and the dishes and desserts are to die for. Kudos to the pastry chef!"

"Over all the food was very good. Change in menu not to our liking. Replaced au gratin potatoes with mashed potatoes. Less vegaterian selections. This was a repeat visit on Mother's Day. No recognition for this special day. We believe in past a dessert was offered. Could be wrong. Still very pleased over all and will return."

"Yet another great dinner at Tano's. We come regularly and were glad to see that the menu was updated. There are new offerings like the paelle which we tried. Not really a true spanish paella but nonetheless it was great. So were the mussels and the scallops. For dessert the goat cheese cheese cake is a great twist on cheese cake.
One little negative note, our server was not the most stylish and was a bit too pushy.

"Four of us came to Tano for the first time. We were lucky to have a great table, #7. Thank you Cory! All of us tried a different salad and entree to share. The BBQ slaw was amazing as was the grilled Italian wedge. The Vancouver Salmon, Seared Scallops, and Tower were delicious. Never rushed or hurried, it was a perfect evening!"

"Visited Tano's with two friends for a weekday lunch and enjoyed a pleasant, relaxing and reasonably priced meal. The ambience was understated and comfortable and the noise level didn't interfere with our conversation. The fish in the fish tacos and salmon sliders was fresh (no fishy odor), nicely seasoned and prepared perfectly. The veggie sandwich was filled with a nice selection of grilled portabella mushrooms, squash and other vegetables. Equally tasty were Tano's dessert options of lemon cake, beignets and opera cake, each accompanied with different flavors of homemade ice cream. All dishes were beautifully presented. Our waiter was personable, efficient and helpful. We'll definitely return to try other menu items."

"My first visit to Tano after many recommendations...was not disappointed..Food was outstanidng, however, limited menu choices. our service was outstanding and when we requested a "chocolate" dessert..she produced on ethat was not on the menu. "Another great meal at Tano's. The wife chose this as her birthday celebration location (As did I last month for my birthday.) and as usual, the place was a hit! The salads were great and the entrees as well. The flourless chocolate torte for her birthday was, as always, the best! The only opportunity for improvement would be their bread. Sicne opening Take Home Tano's, the bread well, is not up to par. The white bread was better than the whole grain bread, but we prefer whole grain to white. However, the whole grain bread was dense and dry. This clearly needs work!"

"Tano dining is a special occasion for us. It is our local restaurant of choice because the food is always delicious and the menu always meets the requirement of our guests. I thought the scallops were exquisite and one guest is still saying her shrimp dish was the best she ever tasted. It is pleasant and lends to the ambiance that the entry always provides smiles and a genuine sense of welcoming.

"We have tried Dinner and Brunch here with equally great results. Service can be leisurely as food is prepared fresh to order. Delicious combinations surprise and delight and are executed perfectly. Small dining room is ideal for twos or fours, but staff will move tables to accommodate larger groups. If you have a special occasion staff will find a candle at the drop of a hat to add to your desert plate. Although not an obvious choice for families, our well behaved children are always welcomed and adult portions split between them without fuss. My 7 year olds are now hooked on sea bass....."

"Ahhh, another visit to Tano Bistro in Loveland. A favorite dining spot for the wife and I, I picked Tano's to celebrate my birthday this year. The Mrs. had the house salad and the scallops. Both were excellent! My chopped wedge (made for me even though it was not on the menu...) was great. I had the pork medallions and I subbed in the scalloped potatoes. This is the first time I would have to say I would have rather had a different starch, since the potatoes were a tad too black for my liking. The complimentary flourless chocolate torte for my birthday capped a nice evening out with my wife. I still highly recommend this place. I am sure we will be back in a month for her birthday as well."

"We made reservations - essential for a Friday night we discovered, as it was packed out when we left at about 7:15 or so. They had a table ready for us right by the window (not as nice as it sounds unless you like to watch traffic but still, it was pleasant). We ordered drinks and relaxed as we perused the menu. "We come to Tano fairly often. The food never disappoints and you can always substitute things on the plate. The fish dishes are all fabulous but the talapia is always our favorite.
The servers are very professional and the bartender makes a great drink! What else could you want? Wonderful food, great service and good drinks!

"While somewhat out of the way, this restaurant is well worth the trip. The food is excellent and preparations/combinations are inventive. The calamari appetizer was served with three complimentary sauces and the salads were fresh and well dressed. The lamp chops were perfectly cooked. The server happily substituted side dishes. We had several questions about the wine offerings and the server was able to answer all with authority. Will definitely return."

"My husband and I went to Tano for our Valentine's Day dinner. We just moved to the Loveland area in July & were excited to try it out. The reservation was key as the place isn't overly large & filled up quickly. The service was the right pace & the food was fantastic. We started with the mussles and then eat enjoyed a seafood dinner (my husband had the tuna and I ate the scallops). We were pleasantly full and will definintely be back!"

"Went for Valentine's Dinner for two. Nice atmosphere and lighting. Cozy table for two but was seated a bit close to kitchen area (little noisy)but was told by staff table could not be changed that night due to other bookings. Food was outstanding! husband's 'Amish Chicken' was perfectly seared and seasoned. Nice bottle of Napa Valley Merlot from the wine list..very good. Creme Brule for desert was perfectly sized/ presented and delicious!This was our third visit to Tano's and there is always something new and exciting on the menu. Also, the wine list changes to incorporate old and new trends. Would recommend for special occasions or lunch/brunch with friends."

"Tano's food is outstanding! This is our second visit and we were thrilled with our meals both times. We tried two of the three daily specials and both were wonderful. Menu is inventive and varied. The grilled salad was outstanding.
Our server was a little slow when we arrived (waited 5 minutes to be greeted and then another 10 to receive drinks) but she eventually got caught up.
I rated the ambiance a 3/5 because the restaurant is rather brightly lit and the tables are close together but I'm really being nit-picky - it's definitely a comfortable environment.
We will be back soon."

"Never disappointed to have dinner at Tano's. I went with my son. He had the oysters for appetizer and ordered his special sauce to go with them (rather than the cocktail sauce). Even though they were rather busy, they accommodated him. he then had the ribs. I had the clam chowder soup and the crab cakes. We shared the blueberry soufflé for dessert. It comes with a delicious home made honey ice cream.
Everything was delicious, flavorful, and well presented and elegantly served. What a way to start the week end..."
