"I took my fiance to Area Code 55 as a surprise dinner date. I was happy with the place. It offered a large variety of food in the cold bar and a small hot bar. But lets face it, no one cares we were there for the meat. A large variety of meat carvers come to.your table. I have to admit almost 40% of the meat was dissapointing. Some was fatty or flavorless. My favorite had to be the baby sirloin and the NY steak. I disliked the cordero, filet mignon, and pineapple. Pineapple? Yes that was a surprise. At the end 2 adults 2 sodas $81."

"This is a great brazilian bbq place, cheaper than other known restaurants. Overall, the cost/benefit is good; meats are not top, top quality but will do just fine. Salad bar is just as good as other restaurants.
If you want to pay half the price and be able to eat a variety of meats, this is the place to go. If you want to have a closer to Brazil reference, with top quality meat, you may need to look out for the expensive restaurants."

"My Brazilian friend was celebrating her birthday so we went for rodizio here. We were very pleased by the pleasant decor and the excellent service. Notable were seafood salads with crabmeat and shrimp, tabbouleh, roasted red bell peppers and "salpicao," a unique chicken salad with raisins that was deliciously authentic. Hearts of palm and artichoke hearts were nice touches. Various beef cuts grilled to order, tender and lightly seasoned were sliced and served from long skewers. Chicken, pork loin and lamb chops added sufficient variety, along with typical condiments. Picanha and churrasco were excellent. Desserts included a smooth passion fruit mousse. At $30. p/p, less than others, a good value."

"I felt that I was back in Brazil. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was good. The meat lacked the traditional flavor created by coating the meat in rock salt as the salt was reduced to meet local standards. I would definately go back and have recommended it to friends."
