Sullivan's Steakhouse livens up Seattle's dining scene with Steak, Local Seafood, Martinis and an Award-winning winelist. Sullivan's Steakhouse offers Midwestern, corn-fed, U.S.D.A. high-choice beef aged a minimum of 28 days. Always hand-selected, Sullivan’s hand-cut steaks are simply seasoned and broiled at 1,200 degrees for the perfect flavor. Also featuring fresh seafood from Seattle vendors, veal, pork, lamb and chicken entrees, classic appetizers, hand-made soups, salads and sides, including Sullivan's renowned horseradish mashed potatoes. "We ordered to Pre fixe menu because we were a in a bit of a rush to go to a show but almost felt because of that service was not up to par. This is the 2nd time I have ordered the Wedge Salad and the chopped tomatoes tasted as if they had been sitting for a day. On a positive note, we came back to the bar after the show and the bartender was great!!"

"We arrived at 6:10 for a 6:15 reservation and were told that they were backed up but we would be seated shortly. We sat in the bar and ordered drinks. At 6:30, I checked with reception and was told that there was still no table available. The bar staff finally showed up with menus around 6:45 and we ordered appetizers and salads. At 7:00 the general manager showed up and apologized profusely, but said there was still no table available. Our food arrived, and it was quite good. Too bad we never had a chance to enjoy an entrée. At 7:30 our table was available but we needed to leave for the theatre. Again, the general manager stopped by apologized and took off a round of drinks and one of the appetizers, but it felt like too little too late."

"Food was very good and the 3 course fixed price menu is a great value. You will not be overwhelmed by the size of the entrée but after an appetizer and a salad, you may not have room for something huge. Our problem was timing. We arrived at slightly after 6:00 and needed to get to the 5th Avenue Theater for an 8:00 show. We received an anniversary card for a free dessert so we had a few hurried bites and arrived at the theater at 7:55. There should be some middle ground between feeling rushed (as we have been at other restaurants recently) and the overly leisurely pace we experienced on Saturday night."

"We picked this restaurant without any knowledge about it, but ended up a wonderful experience. The staffs there are very nice and friendly. The waiter, Chad, is great guy who is knowledgable and professional. The food was excellent. After knowing it was our anniversary, a young lady came to take a phone and by the end of dinner, the General Manager, Ann, showed up, presenting us a very beautiful greeting card with our photo and signatures of 17 staffs! It was a total surprise for us of course. (Yes, we got a complimentary dessert as well). We will come back for sure!"

"I have dined several times at the Dallas TX Sullivan's; and I was looking forward to the Seattle site. But we will not go back, due to slow service & a botched order & a too chatty waitress. We had booked an advance OT reservation for 6pm; and in that OT res we had also noted we had 7:30 theater tickets. When we arrived at 6pm, we also told the Hostess & the waitress about our theater appointment. We did not receive our dinner until 7pm. We only finished 1/2 of the dinner, and had to remind her 3x to get our bill. At 7:20pm, we final settled up; and had to rush to the theater. They bagged up our unfinished dinner & desert & said we could come back after the show; and it would be in the bar refrigerator! No thanks!"

We go there when we are attending shows at either the 5th Avenue Theater or the ACT Theater as Sullivans is within a block of either theater and they offer complimentary valet parking which greatly eases the after-theater scramble. "I must say our lunch was fine: service - ok, food - ok. Our server told us the specials and when I asked what her favorite was, she couldn't recommend anything beyond "depends what you are in the mood for". We weren't really impressed with the uniforms, either - I get the all black thing but the torn tights don't really make sense in this environment. Just not a standout lunch time experience especially when there are so many other options in the neighborhood."

"This is the thrid time we have gone to this restaurant. The first two times the food and service was questionable. We dceided to give it one more try. This time the expereicne was AWFUL. You can be assured we will NEVER go back.
The service was absolutely horrid. The waitress was unattentive and everyting was done wrong. Completed dishes were left on the table, water wasn't filled without asking, butter had to be asked for twice. Our entrées were bought and the waitress had to turn around and bring them back into the kitchen because the table wasn't cleared of the salad dishes.
For a streak house the meat was just awful. Filet Mignon with fat and grissle in them. Unacceptable. Temperature was all wrong.
Awful experience."

"We love Sullivan's and decided to stop there before seeing the Jersey Boys at 5th Avenue. We also took advantage of the 3 courses for $28 special instead of diving into their menu.
The steaks were done perfectly and of course the Spicy calamari was as good as it gets. I do not like spicy foods and I love this appetizer.
The greeters were over the top friendly and the waiters were attentive and quick.
We like having quiet dinner and this is not the place to eat at if you want to be able to talk easily at the table. Got a little better once the bar thinned out."

"We were running late due to traffic so we called and told them. They graciously held our reservation on a busy night. When we arrived we told our server right away that we were in a bit of a hurry because we needed to be at a show in an hour. Needless to say we did not make it to the show on time. The service was very slow. We ordered off this Seattle Restaurant Week menu so we had three courses. We had to get our dessert to go (plus i had to modify my dessert order so it was something that could be boxed up) and barely had time to finish our second course. It was one of the worst steaks I've had at a steakhouse. However, the salad was good as was the dessert - we just had to wait to enjoy it in our car after the show."

"It was our anniversary and we received a photo signed by the staff...very sweet. The portions were so generous that I took home about half my order and it was still delicious the next day! We will definitely return. Sullivan's is a short three block walk from our condo, so location is perfect as well."

"The experience was great and so was the food. The wait staff is friendly, professional, and fairly well-informed. The only thing that our server was unable to answer was where the salmon was sourced. Although the menu said Bay of Fundy she did not know (and neither did we) where that was. She insisted that it was NW salmon, but as it turns out it Atlantic. Nevertheless a great evening. We chose from the prix fixe menu and were not disappointed. Very happy with the prices too. However, as usual, the most expensive part of the meal was the drinks!"

"We decided to try Sullivan's for our Girls Night Out after seeing it on the list for Seattle Restaurant Week. Other than waiting 25 minutes for our table I had made reservations for the day before our evening was nothing short of perfect. Even when our server accidentally brought out the wrong dessert he had the right one on the table before we could fuss and insisted that we keep the accidental dessert anyways. He made us feel like very special guests and we will definitely be back again and again. In fact we were all still talking about our amazing meal today. Thank you for a memorable evening Sullivan's!"

"Wow, went there for the first day of Restaurant week for $28 per person. It was a limited menu but with great choices. My wife had the 8 oz filet, with iceburg lettuce with blue cheese, and broccoli for a side. I had the 12oz New York, with a caesar salad and horseradish mashed potatoes. The sides were huge and spectacular. The steaks were cooked perfectly and very tender. We ordered chilled prawns above the normal offering and they were great. Martinis were served ice cold. Good choice of wine. Rebecca our server was fun and efficient."

"The service was excellent. Our waiter Chad was excellent. The GM brought us complimentary mushrooms. The food was fantastic and they even served large portions. We were celebrating my birthday and they took our picture - put it in a folder frame and the staff, chef and everyone signed it. I would recommend Sullivan's!"

"My girlfriend and I went on a weekend getaway here (from Portland)last month. I had read pretty decent reviews and it was close by our hotel downtown so we decided to give it a try. The service was great for the most part. However, I ordered the twin lobster tails, and after waiting for a very long time the manager came over an explained they only had one tail. He did substitute some crab legs for the missing tail. Our sides came out well before our meals, and we were actually missing our baked potato. Upon our food finally arriving, my crab legs were very dry and seemed as though they had been sitting in the window for a while. The lobster was also dry and mediocre. We never got our potato. I would pass on this place."

"We have eaten here several times before and like the overall location and menu. The dinner on Saturday night was for my wife and I and our best friends. One of the things we like is the free valet parking and the proximity to the ACT Theatre (across the street) and 5th Avenue Theater (very close by). We had 5:30 PM reservations and told the staff that we were going to a play at the ACT and wanted to leave about 7:30 PM for the 8 o'clock show. After we were seated, the waiter came by for our drink orders and said that he had been informed about our show and would make sure everything was on time. It was. All evening, the entire wait staff was efficient and courteous. The drinks, wine selection and the food for all four of us was great."

"Food was as good as I remembered--have always had the salmon (guest had a delicious petite filet mignon), which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Incredible coconut cream pie topped it off. Also enjoyed the seasonal asparagus with Hollandaise sauce. Would prefer the waitress had not keep telling us what's especially good...finally took the hint that we'd already decided what to order. Also, OK for the manager (assume that's who she was) to inquire how it's going but wasn't interested in her continued small talk, especially, as it seemed rehearsed."

"My second visit, my guest's first. We were treated like royalty. We shared each item that we ordered. Not because of $, but because of the LARGE servings, ie THREE coops f sorbet. Make that yummy sorbet. From martini, to steak, to salad, to side, to desert everything was tasty and nicely presented.
As my friend said, "This wsn't dinner; it was and event!"
We'll be back."

After being served our salad before the drinks arrived, we then waited for of 30 minutes before our meal came and it was, in a word, awful. One table near us had to leave for the theatre before they go their meal. It was a disaster."
