"Great place for burgers and other goodies. Loved the rose from Provence and my boyfriend loves the wide range of beers on tap. The green beans were perfectly cooked - slightly crispy yet done - with yummy seasoning. I drooled over the duck confit burger while he totally enjoyed the burger with wild boar bacon. And the fries were divine- crispy and not greasy! Our waiter was attentive but not hovering and had a good sense of humor. We spoke with the owner on our way out to see if they could accommodate some specific food allergies and he assured us they can. We've already told 4 people about this great new restaurant."

"Great food and concept. They've taken great foods and flavor and put them in a form of burgers. I had a duck confit that was pulled meat. Never had before. Delicious. A little hard to hear your dinner mate due to acoustics. Don't let that deter you. I suggested a take out window. I'd go every week. Also, wine menu was great. All bottles are $36 flat price."

"We have been big fans of Le Garage but a recent lunch for four at the same owner's new Sausalito spot was less than hoped for. Of the two appetizers and four main dishes we had, I don't think I would rush to order a single one again. Mac and Cheese was ok but swimming in too much of a goat cheese sauce; deep fried brussels sprouts sounded intriguing but were not at all; three sandwiches - salmon, turkey and hamburger - were all dry, made more so by the rolls they were all served on. A beef appetizer was passable - very French in its serving - but again in a sauce overload. All in all, an uninteresting meal in a very nice spot off the main tourist track in Sausalito."

"I ate at F3 for the fourth time this week, and was surprised that the food was even better than before -- which had previously been good enough for a second, third, and fourth visit. The bavette steak with green beans in a sensational sauce is a five-star dish. No change for the chocolate mousse -- still fabulous. This restaurant is fun, delicious, and affordable."

"Ordered seven dishes. Only finished one. Truly horrible food. France would be ashamed. Steak so tough you could not chew it, greasy, limp fries, runy tapioca, compote tasted like old jam, really unpalatable. Second try, won't go back. Several of us agree, instead of fast, take your time and eat elsewhere."

"My husband and I were meeting a friend for Sunday lunch. The only negative for us was the noise level. We asked to be moved outside after we had been seated a couple of minutes because we knew we wouldn't be able to visit over the loud thumping music. The weather was beautiful so that was a great decision. We actually enjoyed the quieter music coming out of the neighboring restaurant. Although not the most scenic block in Sausalito, the area is conveniently located and free 2 hour parking was easy to find. The area was not packed with tourists which we consider a big plus. The staff was attentive and the food was great. We shared a bottle of rose and had the salmon salad special and a salmon sandwich."

"Brussels sprout chips - delicious. Burger really good and cooked correctly, kale salad very good, tasted parsnip mushroom soup - very good. My only small complaint is the randy staff - host, waiter. I know - THEY'RE FRENCH - but i came for dinner, not suggestive comments. I love a little bit of friendly flirtation but this was slightly over the line into "did he really say that?" Don't get me wrong - i will most definitely go again, but will be prepared for it next time."

"Attentive, friendly but not-overbearing service; dishes we ordered were excellent: brussel sprout chips, fried oysters beignets, kale caesar salad (kale is an unusual choice but it worked with the flavor of the authentic "maitre d-at-tableside-made" caesar dressing once we got used to the more "muscular" greens), and the wild boar bacon burger was as another delectable choice. The Sable Breton was the perfect not-too-sweet end to a delightful meal."

"Everything was great, but the service was a little too good. There was not 2 minutes where someone was not at our table, asking about refills, asking if we were finished, it was very distracting and made it hard to enjoy our meal. Horrible to complain about too much attentiveness but it really made eating and talking uncomfortable as we were interrupted easily 50 times during our meal."

"We had lunch, both ordered the salmon burger. We could smell the "fish" when the plates were presented. The salmon was OK so we ate it. My friend said the taste of the salmon was "off" but I didn't notice that; I did notice she ate the whole thing. We also had the Brussels sprouts appetizer and I loved it.
It's great to see the F3 folks here on Caledonia and I wish them well in this new eatery. A fun menu and I'm looking forward to trying everything on it."

"We love Le Garage and wanted to try their new place. Loved the Brussels sprout fries and the oysters beignet. We were told the frisee salad was dinner sized and it is not. The wedge salad I did not "get" - it lacked dressing. It had little dollops of what I think was creme fraiche around the plate, but it needed more dressing. The chicken wings also need some work. They didn't have a lot of spice or flavor. They don't look very attractive either - just pale yellow chicken wings. We did not try the burgers which was probably a huge mistake on our part. Loved the wine.
I will come back, but will try other things. I have complete faith the owners will fine tune the menu and it will be a great place to eat in every category."

"We really enjoyed a Saturday lunch. Menu was mostly soups, salads, sandwiches and burgers. The duck confit burger was outstanding, as was the special that included eggs with duck prosciutto. For side dish, we ordered a trio that included fries, brussels sprout chips and amazing mashed potato fritters. Ice cream sandwich (which isn't really an ice cream sandwich) was also great. Add to this Alagash White and Racer 5 on tap and you have a winner."

"If I were just rating the fried oysters, I would say outstanding. However, the cod was terribly disappointing....where's the cod? So, the blend of outstanding (oysters) and poor(cod) yielded a fair rating. Maybe because this is new, they are still ironing out details, but I've had better service at Wendy's."

* Good food. Liked the sparkling water with LIME. (G&T history??) Liked the Brussels sprouts chips, loved the iceburg lettuce salad and added the wild boar bacon lardons. Loved the fried oyster beignets appetizer that I had as the main. The coconut tapioca was just enough in both size and sweetness. An espresso to finish.
* Great atmosphere. Can't wait to see the garden in the back in full tilt. And love the concept of live chickens providing fresh eggs.

* Good food. Liked the sparkling water with LIME. (G&T history??) Liked the Brussels sprouts chips, loved the iceburg lettuce salad and added the wild boar bacon lardons. Loved the fried oyster beignets appetizer that I had as the main. The coconut tapioca was just enough in both size and sweetness. An espresso to finish.
* Great atmosphere. Can't wait to see the garden in the back in full tilt. And love the concept of live chickens providing fresh eggs.

"Fun menu with creative choices. Smoked salmon flatbread is very good. Only complaint was with the Frisee salad with poached egg and bacon. The poached egg was hard as opposed to the usual way where the yolk mixes with the dressing. Wines are all the same price and quite reasonable."

"Dishes ordered: Pan seared eggs mimosa, smoked salmon tarte flatbread, BOS Burger, Luxe Burger. The appetizers were absolutely delicious - loved the slight searing of deviled eggs, a great twist on a classic. The smoked salmon was tasty as expected, and I devoured the BOS Burger in a few minutes. The Luxe Burger was the only drawback. It was not as powerful as the other dishes, but I am not a fan of turkey burgers so I already started with a negative bias."

"It was opening night but that is no excuse for a rarely seen server! Hopefully they will work out the kinks. Food-wise it was very good though the Mornay sauce on the "Tater Tots" was lacking in flavor and a bit gritty, not something you expect from the French. The "Filet-O-Fish", essentially a brandade sandwich was flavorful and my companions appeared to enjoy their burgers."

"We understand that the restaurant only recently opened. Please have someone, anyone, stop by and ask us if we would like a drink. Once we finally saw our server, she immediately wanted to take our dinner order. We ordered appetizers and drinks. 2 wines, and a soda should not take 1/2 hour to arrive. When they finally did, we placed our dinner order. Our server was very busy! There was no way we were ever gonna get another round unless we took matters into our own hands. I flagged down the host/owner and asked him to order us a second round. The moral of this story is...if you cannot be too attentive, at least get us drinks. We'll keep ourselves occupied while you catch up. We'll come back. Hopefully, they'll get the kinks out."
