"Yabba is always reliable for unfailingly good food and professional service. Younger visitors flock to this restaurant, which has a fun vibe and decor. My ONLY criticism of this place, or many of the Old Naples restaurants, is what we old timers call "Naples prices." All four of us had one of the chef's signature dishes, a crispy spicy grouper that is really outstanding. But at some $33, no matter how good it is, it seems like a rip. The Caesar salad is better than average, but the 95 cents extra for anchovies seems classless. We usually leave Old Naples to the tourists and the silly prices are the main reason."

"This evening was way better than the one I remember from years ago. The server was attentive, the menu selection wide and very islandy. The specialty drink tasted like a liquid watermelon Jolly Roger hard candy, & that's a good thing! Killer french fries, crunchy outside, soft and hot inner part. Cuban sandwich and fish tacos very tasty and fresh. Only small issue was the cold air conditioned air wafting onto the outside seating area. It was a gorgeous evening and then a blast of a/c would hit my back."

"We've eaten at Yabba on and off for the last 15 years. A few years ago we had a couple of poor meals and hadn't returned until yesterday. We had a wonderful table along Fifth Ave and the server, Adam, was outstanding. The food was very well prepared, and Adam made amends when I commented on the small portion of Mahi that I had ordered in comparison to my wife's salmon. As with any restaurant on Fifth Ave, you pay extra for the location. But it's worth it so long as you have. Good meal, and good service, as we had at Yabba's."

"Good food but maybe an off night for service. Our order was "lost" as people can and went and we were still waiting. Finally we flagged down a different waiter and then the manager. The manager did make it right with a round of drinks and a credit and the waiter came over and appologized for the very lengthy delay. We were there for 2 1/2 hrs. I'd try it again because of the way they handled the problem.

"We are from the UK and remembered visiting Yabba on our last visit to Naples 4 years ago. The food and atmosphere were as good as we remembered however, it was much more expensive than we had noticed last time particularly in comparison to other restaurants we visited locally. Maybe we're just more price conscious these days?! Our server was excellent and the food delicious we would definately recommend & return."

"Although the food was tasty, served in a timely manner, and warm, the service left something to be desired. We were meeting another couple, arrived first, and checked in but waited just outside. The other couple came in the side entrance, registered and were taken to the table. No one ever told us they were there until I walked in to check 10 minutes later. Also, the waiter talked too fast and always seemed to be 'rushing' us. We did NOT find anyone there whom we thought was friendly."

"Good tropical-themed menu with interesting cocktails and food choices, especially seafood, which can be ordered with a chice of sauces or as pre-set combinations with other foods (e.g., Grandma Tiny's Blackened Salmon comes with butternut squash and spinach and is yummy). The appetizer Tuna Negril is especially tasty. The grouper with the cornflake crust that our server raved about was pretty good but not one of the best things on the menu. Great place to sit outdoors and people watch by the pretty plaza. Our server was extremely slow to acknowledge us and ask for drink orders. Other than that, the evening was great."
