Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar Reviews List
Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar
Noah Grant’s Oyster Bar features Sushi & regional Oysters on the half shell. Noah Grant’s menu serves more than 30 fresh entreés including Shrimp, Lobster, Meatloaf, NY Strip, Crab dishes, Pasta & Certified Angus Filet Mignon.
Overall it was pricey ($100 for two, with drinks) but well worth it. Only suggestion would be to sit outside as the inside accomodations were a bit cramped and the smoke from the kitchen made my eyes burn.
I will definitely return."

Review 4 for Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar
"I made reservations for 4 to celebrate my wife's birthday. When we arrived we had a table waiting with a welcome sine with our name on it. The staff suggested a wonderful wine to start our evening off, a perfect selection.
The food was wonderful and pleased everyone. The ambiance was relaxing and perfect for a very nice conversation. It was nice to have a full restaurant but not have to yell or strain to hear the conversation at our table.
A perfect evening and place to enjoy good conversation and great food.
Cheers!"

Review 5 for Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar
"What a wonderful place. The wait staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure the food was presented and tasted good. It is quaint inside and the seating arrangement is great. It took our group of 5 about 20 min. to decide what we wanted for dinner, but everything looked good and it made difficult to choose. Everyone had something different and EVERYTHING was delicious. I recommend the Oysters Rockefeller , Shrimp and Crab Bisque, and the Seafood Risotto. Can't wait to go back."

Review 6 for Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar
"As always a wonderful Noah Grants provides wonderful, service, food and ambience. I love al fresco dining on a nice day and outisde seating is generally available if you call ahead and make a reservation. Everything is very fresh and most people consider the sushi the best in Indianapolis. This is a charming well run restaurant caqtering to your seafood desires. The fillet is also amazing I am also impressed by the consistency of the food. I eat here regularly and there is no variation in consistency. Well done!"

Review 7 for Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar
"My husband and I frequent Noah Grant's. Their pepper corn filets and Noah's Monster sushi roll are staples in our selection. We tried the lamb meatballs this time which were amazing. You can't go wrong on the wine list or with the oyster bar and they have several specials throughout the week. Very nice staff and now they have outdoor seating. Inside can get a little busy and loud when they are booked but this is still a neighborhood gem."

Review 8 for Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar
"Definitely the best food I've had in Indiana and one of the best in the US. Oysters were fresh and delicious. Lamb meatballs were excellent and so was the ceviche. They also make great martinis. The menu offers wide selections from sushi to steaks. Service is impeccable and very friendly."

Review 10 for Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar
"have been here many times but this wasn't up to par - maybe things are on the downslide but the Sun special (1/2 price wine & oysters) is great - forget the lamb burger (a house specialty??), charred on the outside & undercooked on the inside + not the slightest taste of lamb, fries had also been around a while - stick with the sushi or seafood risotto - no more complimentary bread & broccoli pesto either :( - the menu has been changed too since my last visit, more salads/appetizers & fewer full courses - the economy gets everyone sooner or later :|"

Review 11 for Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar
"This was my third time in a month, so obviously this is a positive review. In twenty some years in Zionsville, I can't say that I ever developed a serious relationship with a local restaurant, especially one on Main Street. Everything I have consumed at Noah Grant's was delicious. We started with the raw oysters, which were very ,very fresh. We then ordered two sushi rolls recommended by our server. I've asked for suggestions all three times, gotten three different answers, and never been disappointed. Every entre served has been delicious- salmon, ciopino, seared tuna, Deserts were amazing! To say the deserts were exceptional wouldn't come close. Service was friendly and efficient. I will return."

Review 12 for Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar
"My husband and I don't live close to Noah Grant's, but we have been there now 3 times for our anniversary. This last time we joked that we should move closer so that we can eat there on the regular! Our server, Quentin, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and he was very patient with my husband and I while we chose what we wanted for dinner. Every time we come here, my husband gets the same thing, but I switch it up. This time being no different, the food was awesome! The wine was fantastic, and the dessert....well it was notable to say the least :). We will continue to come here for our anniversary, and we are going to make an effort to return for any other reason we can come up with!"

Review 19 for Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar
"Was able to get in late on Sat., 9pm and it was worth the wait. Loved the halibut special; the strawberry glaze was perfect. The seared tuna also very good. Wine list by the bottle is decent, could add a few more selections by the glass. We always enjoy sitting in the bar dining area or outside when warm. This is my favorite go to place."

Review 20 for Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar
"Great menu, great food. Waiter left plenty of time for conversation, but sometimes the service seemed a little inattentive. Our first table felt like it was in a hallway. We requested a move and ate in the bar area. It was a fairly loud but the overall experience was very good."

Review 22 for Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar
"This was my first visit to this restaurant. I took two friends who were visiting from San Francisco who do not eat meat or chicken, only fish. They are oenophiles as well as foodies so I was apprehensive. We all enjoyed it immensely. As we were dining on a Sunday night, wine was 1/2 price per bottle as were the oysters, an excellent value. The sustainable fish options, Arctic Char and Halibut, were delicious and very reasonably priced at, I believe, $19.95 and $18.95 respectively. The appetizer we shared in addition to the 1/2 priced oysters, fried crab wonton, was excellent with a flavorful crab filling in a LARGE wonton and served with a slightly sweet red pepper sauce that had a bit of heat. The desserts were also very good."

Review 32 for Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar
"Overall the food was good but overpriced. My wife started with the mini salad (just that mini) and I started with the shrimp and crab bisque. The soup was good but for $6 expected more (it was more a cup than bowl). I had a glass of wine and the pour was very very small. So it was $8 for a glass but it was close to 1/2 the size of other restaurants I have been to. Plus the red wine was warm in temperature which was a slight turnoff so I switched to a beer for the next drink. The crabcakes and seafood risotto were good but again overpriced plus they came with no sides. We got the creamed spinach and the side wasn't very big especially for the price. So overall the food was good (nothing great) but it was just too expensive."

"Very over rated. Would not recommend as a great seafood restaurant. Fish was dry, pasta sticky from sitting under heat lamp too long before pickup. Service a bit disconnected but friendly. Would not go out of our way to dine there again"

Review 35 for Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar
"The food was terrible...my husband had the lake perch..no taste..cardboard like...cooked to death. I had the shrimp scampi..it arrived "swimming" in butter....so much so that I had to be careful not to move my plate for fear it would spill..I finally drained it in another dish...it was ok..not the best I've had.....the is our second time but there will not be a third....and will not recommend.....too expensive for terrible food."

"must have been an off night as we have been here before without complaints - the servers, of which there were many, were having more fun among themselves than taking care of their guests & there didn't seem to be anyone in charge to tighten the reigns - we had to ask for bread several times & the perch looked like it was leftover - I expect more for $100+"

Review 42 for Noah Grant's Grill House and Oyster Bar
"Love Noah Grant's! We drive from Lafayette to Indy a lot and try to make time to stop in for oysters as often as we can. The oysters are East Coast caliber (How do they do that in Indiana of all places?!) and we have never been disappointed dining there. Love the hidden small-town-gem feel of this restaurant very much. We have always found the service to be outstanding along with the food. What's not to like? We had the opportunity one evening in summer 2012 to pop in unexpectedly (without a reservation). We were seated outside and it was a lovely dinner. However, I can see that area might get crowded and loud so not everyone would get to enjoy the surprise romantic outdoor dining experience we enjoyed. I would recommend making the drive!"
