The Bistro is located on the grounds of the Biltmore Estate, right next door to Biltmore's award-winning winery. Please be aware that you must have a valid paid estate admission ticket, be a guest of Inn on Biltmore Estate, or be a Biltmore Twelve Month Passholder to dine on property.
The Bistro features contemporary American fare, served with gracious hospitality. Fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients are the focus on the dinner menu, which features premium steaks, impeccable mountain trout and seafood, poultry and lamb. Chef Bill Klein creates French bistro-inspired recipes featuring estate–raised products and locally grown produce. Gardens on the estate produce a wide array of vegetables and fruits throughout the seasons, and our extensive pasture lands provide all-natural, hormone-free Black Angus beef and lamb. Our Field–to–Table Program extends to include many local farmers as well as artisan producers of everything from farmstead cheeses to trout caviar.
"The service was wonderful. Our waiter, Nathan, was attentive and knowledgably of the items on the menu. Our steaks were just right. I had the rib eye and my husband had the filet. My potatoes with that brown sauce were out of this world. My husband was really impressed with the food too. This was a perfect get away for us, just a couple hours down the road. Biltmore Estate is a great place to visit. I have already recommended this restaurant to a few friends."

"We had a lovely Mother's Day Meal here! We started with the pate with black truffle - wow! So rich and creamy. The fresh soft shelled crab was very special. The restaurant is so nice and has a great vibe. We had wonderful service, and the manager stopped by to check that all was good with the meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a great end to a day of the grounds.. My only suggestion is that I wish they had a better wine list - I appreciate that they want to sell their wines, but for a restaurant of this caliber, there needs to be more vairety."

"Having eaten at Cedric's on Friday, I was prepared for the food to be good but not great at the Bistro. However, I was wrong. For appetizers we shared the Artisan Cheeses and the Duck Pate and both were excellent as were all 3 entrees, the special steak with lobster bread pudding, the lamb papperdelle, and the wood-fired chicken. Loved desserts as well, the creme brulee, the sorbet trio and especiall the baked Alaska."

"Menu has shifted away from an Italian flair from previous years. I found it boring and very "Americanized". I had Caesar salad and found it bland and sub par. Romaine leaves should be dark green, leafy and preferably with the center stems removed at the base. The dressing needs to be stronger, not watered down, and there should be shaved parmesan on top, not a couple bland slices on the bottom. Had the veal with noodles in a broth. Needed to be hotter, but overall it was tasty. Waitress staff knowledgeable and reasonably attentive to table. Booths by server/expediter area should have some form of barrier, as it was just too busy for a quiet romantic meal. Menu pricey, with entrees about $25 to $38. Overall, just OK."

"It was very quiet due to the time of year. Important to understand that the dinner menu is more formal than the salads and pizza which are available only at lunch. The food at dinner was deliciously prepared. This would be a good place for a quiet dinner with a spouse or romantic partner. Immediately next door to the Bistro is a wine bar with both indoor and outdoor seating."

"We've eaten at The Bistro-Biltmore Estate twelve times over eight visits to the area. The food, service and ambience has never strayed from being excellent. The cheese plate with spiced honey appetizer(enough for two)is unique and wonderful. We've had scallops, rib eyes, vegetarian dishes--all delicious. You get what you pay for--it's not inexpensive. It is worth it!"

"The food was not that good. My steak was cold pon arrival and too salty. The kids meal pizza a good but the spaghetti was plain and no veggies were given, the sandwich ordered was ok nothing to write home about. Overpriced and not that good. I will not dine here again. The view was pretty though,
The waiter did not come and check on us at all. I had to wait to receive the bill at the end of the meal and ask for boxes for left overs. He was not very well prepared to serve us."

"The restaurant has a dining area that surrounds an open kitchen on three sides, which forms three nearly identical dining areas, facing on to the kitchen. The result is not very appealing and occasionally noisy. The food and service were very good with a very friendly waiter."

"We enjoy visiting The Bistro anytime we visit The Biltmore Inn. We have never had a bad dish here, and we do have favorites that we look forward to seeing on the menu, like the Rhubarb Crisp for dessert, which unfortunately was not on the menu for this visit. Overall, we have had some great meals here and the wait staff is always pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu items."

"We came for the Asheville Small Plate Crawl, but were treated by our waiter like we were going to spend $200 on dinner. I think his name was Josh. My wife and I were going to order one small plate and split it and move on, but he took the time to "talk up" the food not only on the small plate menu, but on the regular menu as well. His friendliness and interest in us made us feel very welcome and comfortable (Best service we received in 3 days at 16 restaurants!). We ended up ordering 2 small plate items and a regular menu item as well to try more food. We will be back. We live here in Asheville and are now considering Biltmore Annual Passes just so we can come back here for date night dinners. Thanks Bistro!"

"The Bostro is an excellent option for dinner. Great food and a chance to enjoy the views that Biltmore offers while having a lovely dinner. Also serves lunch if you are there early enough and don't want to wait around. Would reccomend a reservation if you ever go though. Food was superb and service was excellent. On our visit, we even got to see snow while enjoying dinner."

"Nice place and it was our anniversary. Perhaps the expectation was too high. Looking forward to a quiet romantic corner table with a welcome of, "happy anniversary". Instead, we were sat in traffic isle and our food came out lukewarm.they did redeem themselves with special free dessert treat but couldn't rate any higher, especially for the price."

"This was our second time at the Bistro and it was just as special as our first. The food is excellent and the service is as well. On both occasions, we were guests at the Inn at Biltmore and the shuttle but service to the restaurant made it very convenient."
