"We ate at Cedric's Tavern and it was delicious. We had a charcuterie appetizer which was very delicious. My boyfriend had the pork and I had the trout. The service was friendly and entertaining. We also sat outside and listening to live jazz music. Will go back again."

"We really enjoyed this restaurant on the estate. We had lunch one day and dinner the next. Both were great! The fish and chips were all they were made out to be. The pretzel rolls were delish!!"

"Located on Biltmore property so you must have a ticket to enter or stay at the Inn. Therefore this is not a place to eat if you just want a meal. The food however is well prepared. I liked the fish and chips. The Reuben was aslo well prepared."

"During our visit to the Biltmore, we experienced horrific thunderstorms. Luckily, we were close to Cedric's and dashed in. A great place to have a drink at the bar and watch the storm roll through. We returned later that evening for our dinner reservation and the live entertainment."

"I desired a fine dining experience on a weekday evening. My reservation for one online was booked with an almost instant response on short notice of one hour. A fine table for one was set by the window. The waiter was friendly and attentive without overdoing it. The chicken and mushroom soup served served with a grain bread that was at once crumbly and moist was excellent as was the salmon with asparagus, cucumber, and dill with a red pepper sauce--exciting taste--and a glass of Biltmore pinot grigio. Low, relaxing lighting enhanced the candle lit on the table. Happy time; happy thoughts. I recommend Cedric's to any party looking for good food."

"We visited Cedric's on May 14th. This day was special for two reasons, first, it happened to be my birthday, and second, we celebrated an engagement that happened minutes before. The staff at Cedric's were great, they treated us to a champagne toast and offered a free dessert for the special occasion. Antler Village is a "must" if visiting the Biltmore Estate, and I would highly recommend Cedric's. It is not an "over the top" fancy restaurant, but it definitely has a charm to it. Great experience and very memorial occasion."

"We made reservations online the day before our visit. The large dark wood trim provided a cozy, warm tavern environment. Service was prompt and friendly even on a busy Mother's Day, The menu was rather British and the food choices interesting. We ordered the shrimp and grits and also the risotto dish with vegetables. Both were excellent. The shrimp and grits was enough for two people. Really enjoyed the pictures on the walls of the Vanderbilt family when they lived at Biltmore."

"Our dinner was amazing. I took my mother and my aunt to eat there with me. We are pass holders to the estate so it was a nice treat that it wasn't a crowded restraunt. Our waiter, Tony, was very attentive and had a fantastic sense of humor. Overall I couldn't have asked for a better night out!!"

"Ate here for lunch after visiting the house and before visiting the winery. We were seated promptly because we had a reservation...which after 12:00-12:30 I would highly recommend. Service was prompt, the food was abundant and very tasty. Will definitely dine here again for lunch."

"A Saturday night dinner with friends from out of the area. We had made reservations so I appreciated a table on the upper level where we could talk and hear each other, but still be exposed to the ambiance of the restaurant. The Kentucky Derby was on and it was great to hear everyone get involved in the race. We loved the pub like atmosphere; it was much more casual and friendly than we had expected and the service was OUTSTANDING!!! We split a salad and it was brought out on two plates; quite unexpected! The Bison Burger was delicious and overall the food and drink were great. The rolls and butter were a special treat. The food was so good, we had no room for dessert. Next time we will plan ahead....
A Five Star Dinner,
Thank You."

"A guest and I enjoyed lunch at Cedric's at Biltmore on a rainy afternoon. The soup of the day was tomato which paired perfectly with my crisp and savory Grilled Cheese Sandwich, a great combo for the chilly day. It was also a good companion to the generous salad my guest chose. We also liked the house-made pickles for which I was offered the recipe when I commented about them. However, the hands-down winner at lunch was the Strawberry Tart we shared for dessert, specifically the Fennel Ice Cream which was superb, with texture like gelato, lovely color and a very interesting flavor.
Our dining room server was very friendly and efficient; the server in the bar area where we waited briefly for our table was less so."

"Special features above do not really apply at it is an on-property establishment. The food was good, but not great except for dessert which was fabulous. If you don't want to leave the Biltmore Estate, it probably has the best bar scene on-property. It's comfortable and casual."

"This was my first visit to Cedric's and will be a spot to visit every time I visit the Biltmore. My friends and I had a delicious meal. I had the seared scollops over the grits (outstanding) perfection. It he waiter ( I wish we had gotten his name) was informative of the menu and the history of the Biltmore. Cedric's is a treasure and I wish you much success. I had made reservations, but my friends and I were tired after a day of touring and sightseeing so I asked to be sitted early, this was easily accommodated. Thank you for the great experience."

"The cheese curds were so tasty.... Used the batter that they use for fish and chips. Pretzel bread and butter were excellent. I had the pecan crusted rainbow trout. Very well prepared. I did substitute the greens and black beans for the Yukon potatoes. Would go back again but be prepared to spend some money. Around $30.00 a plate for dinner plus drinks and appetizer."

"We enjoyed an amazing meal at Cedric's after a day at the Biltmore. We both ordered the special, which that night was a ribeye on Guinness mashed potatoes with sauteed kale and mushrooms. My non-foodie husband had never tried kale, but this was a hit. We also shared Jack and Coke wings, which were tasty but a little more messy to eat that I would have liked in such a nice place. Service was well-paced, although our bread could have come out sooner, but the server was really on the ball when we had a problem with my husband's cocktail and it had to be replaced. All in all, we had a marvelous meal at Cedric's. Our server especially made it wonderful."

"Cedric's is elegant for a 'tavern'. It has to be since it is on the grounds of the Biltmore Estate. We enjoyed the Shepherds pie and the meatloaf. They were both delicious and not ordinary."

"Our family was tired after the day tourting the Biltmore house and grounds and Cedrics was a welcome, comfortable place to end the day......the food was excellent...only comment being that the one daughter that ordered the trout thought it was a tad too salty but still ate it all and enjoyed her meal. The blues guitar music that night was perfect in noise level....still allowing our conversation and not exasperating our tired souls with outlandish loud vibes:) Enjoyed....and would come again. Our daughter actually upgraded to an annual pass for her and her husband so she may visit again soon......we are from Texas so probably will be a while before we come again."

"Limited Menu, be sure to view online first. Prices moderate. Servings average. I guess because we were at the estate I expected maybe a little better food quality, but overall, it was just average. Have had better food and selections in regular Bar Taverns at comparable or cheaper prices."

"Really enjoyed out dinner time at Cedric's. All the best elements of a Gentle Irish Tavern environment. Great menu, outstanding food, outstanding bar selections, wait staff very helpful and attentive, and wonderful live folk singer at a perfect volume which made it possible to enjoy the music as well as enjoy the conversation with friends. Being there on a Tuesday evenng it was less crowded than busy Biltmore weekends or holidays. Plus, as a dog lover, I love that the tavern honors the Vanderbilt's treasured St. Bernard, Cedric!"

"We had exactly the experience we have come to expect. The reservation was honored (on time), the service was very good, the food was excellent . The noise level was a little high but part of that was due to the table next to us with an infant who was not a happy camper. His family did attempt to work with him but he was still a bit much. It did not ruin our evening, it was just a disturbance. We will be back--soon!"

"The location and ambiance of Cedric's is great, especially for guests staying at the Biltmore Inn. However, I was disappointed with the menu (on the too-fancy side for a restaurant billed as a tavern), price (small services and not anything special taste-wise), and service."
