"I took my husband to Wisteria for Father's Day and we had a wonderful time. The food was excellent I had the braised lamb and my husband had the fried chicken (to die for). Our children also, enjoyed the food. I would definately go back and would highly recommend this restaurant to others."

"It was my Wife's birthday, and they gave us some complimentary champagne, which was really nice of them. The food was really good - although, I got a vegetarian plate (I know, I know. I've been on a health kick recently) that was a bit of a mishmash of different vegetables which was good...but ultimately kind of a sampler. For me, it was like dinner without any continuity...if...that makes any sense.
My wife had the lamb, and it was delicious. Fell right off the bone. She was raving about it.
The service was good, if not a little too overzealous.
Overall I'd absolutely recommend this place - frankly, it even cost less than I thought it would going in, and we both had two beverages."

"Needed to find a restaurant near a local theatre -(stage not movie) and we were very pleased with the choice. From the ease of valet parking to the considerate service which got us in and out in plenty of time, to the excellent food and wine selections, we highly recommend Wisteria and will be returning soon."

"We were pleasantly surprised by Wisteria, especially for its focus on seafood. We don't eat out that often, and when we do it's usually Holeman and Finch or Miller Union-- tough acts to follow! We were looking to broaden our horizons and try somewhere closer to home and were not disappointed. The food was very good and the restaurant was well-packed when we left shortly before 9:00. The only negatives were a significant lag between main course and dessert and an absentee amaro."

"I've been to Wisteria 3 times in the past 2 months or so and am consistently impressed. This time I went with my family (group of 6) and had a wonderful experience. Service was prompt and knowledgeable (thanks Jessie!) and the food was delicious yet again.
I recommend:
-Arancini for appetizer
-Crab Bisque for soup
-Veal meatballs with ricotta gnocchi, pork tenderloin with sweet potatoes, and encrusted trout are all my favorites.
-If you can pull it off with your group, get the 6-pick for desserts and select: banana pudding, bread pudding, strawberry shortcake, smore, carrot cake, and sweet pecan ice cream. DELICIOUS!"

"Wisteria has long been one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. We love taking out of town guests, and we also love a good night at Wisteria. The food is always beyond reproach. Typically, the bar is flawless. But, this time my Manhattan was too bitter. Typically, you would just tell your waiter, send it back, and get another. However, the service was so poor that I just decided to drink it for fear of further repercussion. Any time we needed our waiter, we literally had to call his name. It was a Wednesday night and they were not busy. He made us feel like an inconvenience when we asked for food, drink or told them that they brought us the wrong dessert. Saving grace... Julie the hostess. Thanks to Julie, we will not give up on Wisteria."

"I lived one block from this restaurant for a year and never went - finally had dinner there with my wife and another couple. Food was excellent. I had a good crab bisque (hard to mess that up), an AWESOME crabcake appetizer, and the meatball dish. Beers were good and wine tasing sampler was a bonus for my wife (get three half-glasses from certain tiers). It's a small space that's well decorated. You'll be close to your neighbors, but we never felt like we were sharing a table with them. I look forward to going again.
The space reminded me of some of the good restaurants in Decatur - cozy spaces that are well appointed. This reminded me of Feast in its hayday before it closed."

"Wisteria is nice in almost every way. What I like about the menu is that it has more consistency than some of its peer small, farm-to-table restaurants, and yet there is always inventive use of fresh, local ingredients -- especially with salads. The restaurant has a wonderful neighborhood feel to it, although the crowd makes clear that it draws people from beyond the typical Inman Park crowd. Like other Inman Park restaurants, it does feel like they've put too many tables in the space, so expect to be close to neighboring tables. We had a man's back and bald head literally right up against the edge of our two-top table. That made it a less-than-comfortable experience, but tolerable. Could be time for an interior update at Wisteria."

"We were 25 minutes late, due to terrible traffic. When we arrived, we were informed that we were 30 minutes late and the reservation had been canceled. (I checked on my phone and we were close but still under the wire.) They found a table for us but were quite unpleasant in the process. The waiters were excellent, as were the bartenders. The maitre d', however, was unnecessarily rude and overly hasty to cancel, especially given that they were aware that 5 festivals had snared up the traffic."

"Wisteria restaurant in the Inman Park section of the city was a great change of pace from larger places with a predictable menu. With new diners still arriving at a steady pace when we left at 10 p.m., it's apparent that it's a well known gem by the local crowd which was very diverse both ethnically and economically. Southern cooking with a decidedly modern flair, Wisteria's flavorful pairings of classic meats and seafood with exciting sides and sauces was a real treat after a busy day. Catfish over ocra and greens and a phenomenally tender pork loin with a bourbon-molasses glaze were our choices. Service was so good that we felt like we were regulars welcomed back rather than first timers. Looking forward to our next trip to Atlanta."

"I'm no gourmet but that whole dinner was ridiculously yummy! I waddled out of there happy.
The service was just about perfect too: prompt, friendly, professional, informed, but not overbearing.
Just so you know, the place jumps - not a quiet romantic candlelit sort of place. Not saying that's bad, you understand.
Bottom line, two thumbs way up!"

"My family and I chose to celebrate my niece's graduation here. Everything was amazing, from the greeting we received when we walked in the door, to the decor, the food and the service. I used to live in Atlanta and never visited Wisteria, and now that I've moved and finally discovered this place, I will alway make a return visit on my visits down."

"My Fiancee and I went out for our Anniversary. Generally everything was good. The service was great and the ambiance was nice too. We were surprised that even on a Monday night they drew a nice crowd. My fiancee ordered the flounder and I ordered the trout. While they were ok, neither of us would clamber back to get them again. The mac & cheese we ordered as a side to share was quite good though and I would order that again. The wine list was also a bit pricey. Most glasses seemed to be priced at or above $10 which is enough that you may think twice about ordering a second glass."

"My husband and I really enjoy dining at Wisteria except for feeling a little too crowded at our table. We also find it a bit cramped when waiting to be seated ( the times we have been there the bar has been full so the only option was to wait outside of the restaurant or stand inside by the door). We keep going back because the food and service are excellent. This trumps over any inconvenience while waiting for a table (we have not had to wait long) or sitting close to people. We will be back and also recommend Wisteria to friends."

"There were several large parties, which may have affected the consistent product and service that we usually receive. The crabcake was good, but not great. The artisan greens were good, but the crispy potato skins were much like the basil chips that came with the crabcake. The pork tenderloin was undercooked and did not arrive med rare as ordered. Everything was stil good, but seemed to be lacking the usual luster that the Wisteria dishes usually offer. We will still happily return, as we still think Wisteria is one of the most consistent restaurants in the city and we certainly pardon a one off night, which was only off just a little."

"The crab cake was excellent,fresh corn and just the right spices. I had the shrimp and grits, which was my first time and I love them. My husband had the fried chicken and he said it was so tender. It was all lovely!"

"Went recently to celebrate our 20-something daughter's b'day; party of 7. Service was excellent, everyone loved their entrees. We also enjoyed three appetizers for the table as well as specialty cocktails. Overall the night was a huge success and we will definitely be back!"

"We had made a reservation for a quiet table for 2. The host sat us right behind the host podium. I had to ask for the quiet table on the other side of the room that was open. He kept giving my wife water with ice when we asked 2 times for no ice. His timing was horrible all night. we ordered cocktails and when the server returned with our drinks we put in our app and wine order. Our app come out just a few minutes after our cocktails we served when we had ordered wine with the app. We asked for our wine and explained that we wanted to have wine with the carpaccio. Before we were halfway done with the app they told us our entree was ready and waiting. There timing bad. The food was very good, the wait staff took away from a great experience."

"The food was good, not as outstanding as I thought it would be. We went to Wisteria as part of the Inman Park Restaurant Week where they restaurant offered a menu for either $25 or $35. My overall impression was that the restaurant tried to get as many people in that night as possible. Under the week I woulnd't mind a fast service, but I almost felt rushed out so they can have the table to get some other people in.

"I am always a fan of Wisteria, the food is excellent and the location is close-by. However, on this trip it was restaurant week. The place was packed. The staff at Wisteria was up for the task though. Beginning with the host staff, the bartender whiled we waited for our table, the wait staff and the busers, all brilliant and so on the ball. (I hope they made a lot of money.) There was no back-up in the kitchen either that I noticed. Everything ran so smoothly. And, as I said, it as packed. Hats off to the staff on this hectic week. Food was great as always. Only issue, the noise. I could really only converse with the two folks on my side of the table but not the two across from me. All in all, great place!"

"Wisteria is one of my favorite restaurants. I recommend getting a reservation vs walking in. The staff is courteous and helpful and is very knowledgeable about the food and wine the restaurant offers. Best dishes I've had so far: Beef Tenderloin, the Trout and the Lamb Shank. Really outstanding, great place for a small group (4-6), but I think best for two."

"How fortunate we were to be staying so close to this gem! The speciality cocktails were creative, the wine list had something I loved, the kitchen split our salad without us asking, the salmon was creatively prepared and oh so yummy, the fried chicken was moist and tender. The desserts - mini 'buffets' of goodness - were to die for, especially the s'more and shortcake. The service was outstanding - friendly, funny, called us a cab and encouraged us to have a coffee refill while we waited. The only (small) negative was that we were seated directly behind the host station, which was a bit distracting."

"This was my first visit to Wisteria and certainly not my last. The service was outstanding. I love that this traditional 'southern' restaurant also offers excellent lighter options that are not typically available on the southern menus seen in so many places these days. I had the feature salad and mussels. Both were wonderful. We ordered the fried oysters and deviled eggs for the table. Both very good. Other entrees ordered were the pork, shrimp and grits and meatloaf. Everyone loved their food. The highlight were the 'mini' desserts that our group shared. Probably the best Granita I've ever had. Can't wait to come back."
