"A French Bistro - quite enjoyable. Dinner was good, love the trout, dessert delicious. Romantic when the lights are down and seated towards the back. Alas, the waitperson was not up to the usual delightful standard - not very attentive, an air of distain, perhaps he is new. Overall, a good choice.
Also, love les petites plates for happy hour. Could be a nice early dinner."

"What was wonderful about Cafe Campagne was the immediate ambiance, the feeling of subtle class, the genuine interest and friendliness of the staff, the promptness in service, the excellence of every food choice, the absence of after-burn, and being considered a valued guest...."what a concept". The reservation (best table for a special occasion) arrangements, flowers on table requested, was just what was requested.... "what a concept". and "what a joy"."

"This is the third French restaurant I've been to in Seattle, and it definitely held it's own. The service was excellent, which always improves the overall experience. The food was delicious and very rich. The only moderating factor was that the food was a shade heavier then other French food I've had. That said I definitely walked away with a smile on my face. Furthermore, the prices, compared to other local French restaurants, were extremely reasonable. I will definitely go to this eatery again, though I will probably order a bit less food next time. I can't wait to try to the steak tartar, which came highly recommended."

"Very good service and the food was delicious! The only minor "complain" is that the tables were too closed to each other."

"Cafe Campagne is our go-to spot for great French food in Seattle. The wines are universally outstanding, and the cheese plate, while not the greatest in town, is a consistantly high quality starter with a wonderful mix of brie, blue, and a firm goats milk. For main dinner courses, you can't go wrong with the Steak Frites, Duck Confit, Trout Almondine, and, when in season, the Cassoulet, served in a well used Le Creuset pot and spooned out onto your dish in all it's fragrant glory.
Service is also amazingly polite and attentive. Waiters and waitresses may be chatty or quiet, but they're always friendly and willing to make you happy."

"As always, Cafe Campagne never disappoints. I have the duck confit practically every time I go, it's so good. The only menu item that I don't think is outstanding is the escargot; it's relatively bland, not very garlicky and overall boring. All the other dishes more than make up for that, however. I highly recommend this restaurant to both foodies and more casual diners alike."
