"We had a reservation for 6:30 p.m.; however, we still had to wait 20 minutes for a table. There were several hostesses, all of whom seemed very frazzled; their "system" seemed disorganized and chaotic.
Another issue: I had brought a bouquet of flowers to the restaurant an hour ahead of time and had asked the hostess to place them on our table before we arrived. She reluctantly agreed to do so.
While we were waiting to be seated, one of the hostesses literally walked right past us, carrying the flowers to the table.
[So much for the surprise I had planned...]
The restaurant was extremely busy and very loud.
On a positive note, the food and the service were excellent, but not enough to convince us to return..."

"We tried something different than our favorites at Enza's. I had the Veal Piccata and my husband had the Grouper Parmesan and wow! Both meals were fantastic. We topped it off with the delicious Tiramusu. Another great evening for Mother's Day!"

"Enza's is just what a top restaurant should be. Food was well prepared and generous. Menu selection was extensive, and the kitchen accommodated our low-sodium diets very nicely. The Grouper Francese was perfect, with a flavorful sauce not overpowered by the lemon taste. Spinach, my choice of side, was excellent. Even my son enjoyed the fresh mozzarella and tomato. Service was excellent. Table cleared, water refilled, questions answered ... they were always there when needed, never intrusive. Though busy, the restaurant never seemed crowded. The echoes you find in chain restaurants were absent ... you could easily carry on a conversation with your companions. Enza's is a special place, when you really want to treat yourself and your family."

"Being Italian from New Jersey, we always search out great italian restaurants, in this case last year July 4, 2012 we were going to our favorite restaurant Vito's on Baymeadows, when he was closed he heard of Enzas and gave them the business, after the first visit we were hooked. been going weekly since. Very friendly staff, great food, prices are great."

Also, the hostess was very accommodating, we were late due to a fatal accident on the highway -- we were seated as soon as we arrived and we know the restaurant was quite busy. "We have visited Enza's twice before(as it is a 2hr. drive for us)We love our favorite waiter Gerard. The two previous visits the food was wonderful.This visit there were 4 of us as we had decided to treat our friends to this great food. Sadly 3 out of 4 were disappointed.My lamb chops were over done as was our friends fishand my husbands duck was tough. The 4th party member had eggplant parmesan and she said it was great.We will visit again as 2 times out of 3 isn't bad."

"Enza's Italian restaurant is a gem. The moment you walk in you feel like family. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The wine list is outstanding. The food is out of this world. I would definitely make a reservation on the weekends and holidays just so you don't mss out on this restaurant. Even though you are close to neighboring tables, the noise level is low. It is kid friendly but you can also have a romantic dinner. A not to be missed treat."

"Great restaurant, great food. We were quickly meet at the door, our reservation acknowledged and were seat without delay. Service was quick and friendly and accurate. Help was offered when asked but not one items was pushed over any other item. My food was excellent from Shrimp w/Garlic & Oil to the Veal Saltimboca and on to the Espresso. My wife's food was excellent and include the Caesar Salad and Chicken Marsala.

"Enza's is INCREDIBLE. If you're looking for the best Italian fare in Northeast Florida, look no further. Along with having the sweetest, most professional staff in town, this gem never disappoints. Homemade pasta, chicken soup that literally makes you feel better (just like mama's!), and garlic bread that will leave you drooling for days. I can't say enough great things about this place: seriously, TRY IT!"

"If you like outstanding Italian fare in a pleasant environment, you can't beat Enza's. The prices are reasonable, and the menu is extensive, with excellent nightly specials. This isn't a red sauce and pizza place, so it'n not ideal for kids. Come here to have a great adult evening. Service is usually quite good, but it is very popular and they can get slammed. The food is worth the wait, however. Just to be sure, make reservations. You won't find a better overall Italian restaurant in North Florida!"

"We dine at Enza's about 4 times per year. Service is warm, friendly, and very knowledgable. The food is wonderful in every way. While not selling themselves as gourmet Enza's food is gourmet at its best. Unpretentious, obviously lovingly and well prepared, the taste and texture screams that only the finest and freshest ingredients are used. Simply a wonderful experience and value all the way around."

"Perfectly tasty Italian fare, respectable service and comfortable atmosphere. We were there on a Friday evening an hour early for our reservation, yet we didn't have to wait for a table. There was a large group next to us during our stay, so it was a bit loud at times. The electric piano provided some nice ambiance, though it also had the I unintended consequence of increasing the overall volume in the restaurant.
Would recommend for groups or families. Plenty of selections on the menu, so plan extra time to find what you want! There's something for everyone."

"We visited Enzas for a special occasion but the food was very salty, especially the meatballs.
My husband had sea bass which he said was "ok".
Our guests barely ate any if their entrees & we know they were hungry.
Restaurant was loud & crowded for a Monday evening & it was not a quiet place for children.
Probably wont return."

"Outstanding Restaurant. This was a special occassion for my visiting family and the food and service were FANTASTIC. I cannot say enough about their service and the way these folks made us feel. We were treated as if we were the only people in the place. Stephanie is one of the BEST servers I have ever encoutered in all my travels. I travel for a living and have been in coutless restaurants on the East Coast of the US and she and this restaurant are in the Top 3. I highly recommend this restaurant for those who want a magnificaent dining experience that mirrors a North End Boston or Federal Hill in Providence experience. Simply AMAZING!!!

When making reservations remember that your entire party must be on site before you are seated - House Rule. We arrived about 15 minutes ahead of our guests and wanted to relax with a glass of wine. We were told that we could not be seated - Enza's rules. OK...I understand that they don't want to risk giving up a table of four to two people in case the other party doesn't show, but I was really taken aback by their attitude about it. Was told that if we wanted a glass of wine that we could go to the bar. Would have preferred sitting in a booth as opposed to the "great room" where there were several large parties in session."

""THE" best Italian restaurant in Jacksonville and would compare them to some of the best in NYC. No other restaurant locally can compare to Enza's always fresh, never frozen entrees.
If you haven't tried the Enza's salad instead of the tossed version that comes with your entree, you are missing out on a real gem.
Also, ask for the olive oil and spices to go with the garlic bread. It's A-mazing."

"My bride and I have been to Enza's a number of times and we have never been disappointed. Enza herself has come by our table to welcome us. The feeling there as if you are a member of the family having dinner at her home.
