Oasis is a beautiful oceanfront location that showcases the best of what Kauai has to offer in cuisine, service and ocean views.
We strongly believe that residents and guests of Hawaii want to experience Hawaii. We use local sources for almost 90% of our ingredients, and work closely with Kauai"s farmers and fishermen to provide you with the best and freshest possible ingredients.

"Wow - table right on the front of the restaurant with a 180 view of the ocean. Great service by Leigh and fun to chat with her about special events (including a special dinner at Na Aina Kai. Could not have found a better place for a mother's day celebration. It is not a huge menu but there is something there for everyone. And, if you just cannot eat a lot (like me), then you can order a 1/2 portion at half the cost. This alone will bring me back."

"The food was vey good. A little bit pricey, but hey it's Hawaii what isn't? Beautiful view with open walls to the beach. The dress code wasn't exactly as described, there were a lot of families and people who looked like they had been at the pool all day, felt a little overdressed. Overall good place to eat."

"Opentable reservation got us a great table - outside within 70 feet of the beach and ocean. Fresh catch every day with locally grown fruits and vegetables. Regular "Pub" food available but the special entries are the winners. Happy Hour 4 to 6 with original recipe tropical drinks and some nice wines. Service very good but got a little slower once the restaurant fills up (after 7:00 PM). This is a well kept secret on the east coast of Kauai."

"The service we have recieved wasn't worth the price. I would not go back nor would I recommend Oasis. We were there for more than 2 hours and most of it was wait time. I ordered cocktails and it took 22minutes to get back. I ordered 3 cocktails so there was a total of 1 hour wait time. they brought the wrong order and only took one plate away to fix. Then they brought the second plate a couple minutes later. We ordered dessert and that took longer than the drinks. I was furious at this point and wanted my bill. They brought the wrong bill. I was ready to pay and had my debit card ready. The waitress didn't take the bill to be paid right away ... she then took more orders as I sat waiting for her to come back. Oasis has a very scenic view!"

"The food was not very good and the server seemed overwhelmed. The restaurant could not handle more than a few people at a time. Although we arrived a bit early the hostess made us wait until they opened at 12:00. Needless to say we would not eat there again."

"What I remember most was the fantastic view we had seating right in front of the beach. This is a gem that deserves to recognized. We liked the half portion menu alto the sizes were a bit small. Henry the waiter was great and we love his "u guys" attitude! Also the kale appetizer was the best I have ever had!"

"This is an amazing restaurant - one of the best on Kauai and much underrated and under-advertised. The food is farm to table and so the menu changes frequently and the chef is committed to using Kauai grown and raised products which makes the flavours so fantastic. We went 18 months ago for our last night in Kauai and we repeated the tradition this trip. Both meals were outstanding, with views of the moon and the sound of the ocean helping to make it incredibly romantic. They even make their own orgeat syrup for the Mai-Tais which were outstanding. The staff were all helpful, efficient and friendly - visit if you can!"

"Very nice restaurant right on the beach in Kapaa. We enjoyed the beach view and open air dining with panoramic folding doors and loved that we could close the folding doors to keep the cool evening breeze out and keep the great view. The menu is limited and there were no evening "specials", however all the food was very tasty. I would definitely go back again."

"We ate at the Oasis the last night of our Kauai vacation--and it didn't disappoint. The patio was almost onto their beach so the views were spectacular; the service was superior; and the food was outstanding. Everything is cooked in a little service house directly behind the restaurant, and the chefs serve up great local ingredients in excellent dishes. My husband's Mahi was terrific, as well as my half filet. We are already missing the opportunity to go back on a regular basis, and the prices are reasonable. If they'd advertise, the restaurant would be packed every night. Until then, take advantage of the local secret and enjoy!"

"What an experience. We were seated 20 minutes after arriving. The restaurant was half full, yet the service was awful. We had to ask repeatedly for the basics; water, bread etc. We waited about 45 minutes for our entrees. My wife's fish was undercooked - we sent it back. My port was overcooked. We would not go back to this restaurant again"

"We made our reservation for Sunday evening. Found the place to be more of a noisy bar than a restaurant. The Happy Hour does not include the tropics favorite drink the Mai Tai. We ordered the Pork Won Tons, Hamburger and Shepards Pie.The interior of the Won Tons was tasty but the exterior was like cardboard. The Hamburger was good but the french fries were cold. The Shepards pie was just a shallow bowl with ground dry lamb and carrot chunks with no moisture or gravy whatsoever, topped with mashed potato, quite tastless. The menu shows some imagination but the executions seem poor. This place is inside a huge resort and very few locals seem to be in attendance. Probably won't come back."

"Very good farm to table menu with even a 100% vegan entre. Entire main course menu available with full or half sized portions. Slight server mix up delayed my wife's meal (delivered to wrong table) but recovered within 5 minutes and meal was very good. As other reviewers note restaurant can be completely opened to outside so evening breezes can be cool. Come prepared and don't whine! They can close the doors but may ruin the ambiance for others who are enjoying the experience."

"Excellent food. We had the ahi bruschetta and the ahi entree with boy choy and mashed purple sweet potato. For dessert we had the apple banana fritter with caramel ginger (?) ice cream. All creative, yummy and well prepared, i.e., not too heavy on the oil and salt. Service was friendly and prompt. Only one thing not to our liking. And that was that the restaurant was too dark for our tired old eyes. We had to use our iphone flashlights to read the menu."

Food was not good, service was not good. Screaming children seated in the dead center of the restaurant on a busy night... NOT GOOD.
Waitress "found" our table 20 minutes after we sat down and then took another 20 minutes to bring drinks. Forgot ice bucket for warm, but expensive wine, then served a leaky bucket that created a river on our table. We served our own wine, listened to busser complain about how busy it was and had a brownie ala mode ripped out from under us while still eating.

"Overall a good experience. Took quite a while to get our food. Would have been nice to have some bread to tide us over.

"The Oasis is in a beautiful spot but difficult to find (tiny sign, inside of the Waipouli Beach Resort - look for it across from the Kaapa Safeway) and it's wide open whatever the weather. We had a cool night and the cross breeze after sundown made things a bit too cool to properly enjoy the meal. As others have noted, the portions are small and the 1/2 portions are really small but, that was what we wanted anyhow.
We liked the food - they are big into local farm-to-fork cuisine - and the cocktails and wine were good as well. They forgot to bring our appetizer (which we cancelled when we figured it out due to salads arriving) and even though it wasn't a busy night, the staff wasn't spot on. Know what you're getting into..."

"We wanted a lovely setting for a restaurant with good food choices. This one had delicious vegetable/vegan dishes, delicious sea food, and other selections; precisely what we wanted. We were able to get a reservation with little notice and were given a wonderful table at the open door. In January, it is wise to take a light jacket/shawl, which we had."
