Thank you to our customers for voting Arielle’s Country Inn: BEST RESTAURANT OF BUCKS & MONTGOMERY COUNTY for the second year in a row, 2011 and 2012 Reader’s Choice Awards, The Intelligencer.
Arielle's Country Inn, located on Allentown Road, is housed in a beautifully appointed, historic, stone building dating back to 1754. Used as a stagecoach stop in the 18th century, the restaurant still retains that warm country atmosphere. Chef/owner, Jacques Colmaire, uses locally sourced, fresh, high quality ingredients to skillfully prepare food for you to enjoy. Diners can choose from Prime steaks, fresh seafood, pasta and other specialities which are all cooked to order and served in a romantic, candlelit dining room, enhanced with a fireplace and cozy bar. Garden dining is available amid a beautiful flower garden in the summer months. We look forward to having you as our guest!
"The food is incredible. There isn't much else to say. Every single thing we ordered, apps and entrees were good. Given there were four of us, that was a lot of different things!"

"Celebrated my wife's birthday the other day....she could have gone anywhere but chose Ariels. Food and service is always great. I had the lamb shank....slow roasted, tender and delicious! My wife had the strip steak....juicy and delivered medium rare as ordered. We will return again and again!"

"This was our first time dining here. We will certainly be returning. Food and service were both excellent. Lobster Bisque soup was among the best I have ever had. The swordfish special entrée was outstanding"

"Service was prompt and attentive. Salads and soups distinctive and full flavored, with pleasant presentations. Entries were excellent. Large portions but excellently flavored and prepared. Vegetables were good but not to the same level as the rest of the meal. Our table of 4 had 3 different deserts. Each was generous, delightful presentations and tasty. Overall a delightful experience."

"We went there to celebrate a birthday. We wanted an older, quaint, tavern style restaurant. It was quiet and cozy and romantic...right down to the candle lit atmosphere. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic and the prices are reasonable for a dining experience of this caliber. When you go, take the time to look at the stone walls with the hand-hewn beams. This just adds to the charm. And make sure to see all the beautiful flowers outside...and don't miss the bird houses and antiques. This is truly a tucked away gem just waiting for you to discover it !!!"

"While we can't afford to do this very often, it was a very enjoyable place to eat. We will come back for another visit when a special occasion arises. Our server Chiristine was top notch. The prices were on the high side, but the quality of the food was very good. I do not mind payihg a premium price if the overall experience was worth it.............this was worth it. It made our 43rd wedding anniversary very nice.
Regards,
Bill Groner"

"Arielle's is in the middle of nowhere and I loved it. They have a very country feel. The food is amazing, it is a small menu and you cannot go wrong, everything is top of the line yet unique. I would definitely recommend Arielle's."

"My husband and I first tried this restaurant last May for his birthday. I chose it because he loves steak and they listed several steak options. We had a wonderful time and loved the food. We love the drive out to Arielle's and the ambience of the inn. It is wonderful. We have returned with other family members for special birthdays with our most recent being during the week. We have been there when it was packed and when it was just a few couples and always enjoy it. The food choices consistently include something unique."

"This is becoming our favorite "special dinner" restaurant. The atmosphere is lovely, the food is consistently good, even the choice of background music, all make for a pleasant, relaxing meal. The menu offers a wide choice...it is hard to choose. You can tell there is a "chef" in the kitchen who cares about what he or she puts out to the customer. If you enjoy the "fine dining" experience, you won't be disappointed....."

"Spent a nice evening with friends and family (party of eight). We were greeted in a friendly, warm, welcoming way. Our table was comfortably sized though the dining room was a little tightly packed. We had a nice variety from the menu...Lobster Bisque, Onion Soup, Pork Mignon, Rack of Lamb, Pork Chop, Tilapia, , Salmon. The food was very good. Freshly prepared, proper temperature, nice portions and tasty. Only one complaint...the broccoli rabe served with my dish was a little tough and bitter. We finished the evening with a variety of desserts, all of which were a treat. In all, a most enjoyable dinner. I would not hesitate to visit again or recommend Arielle's Country Inn to others."

"This was a great find. Looks like an old county inn from the outside. Guests dine in different rooms in the house. Very comfortable feel, but the food and service were nfa from ordinary. We will definitely return!"

"Never ate dinner. After the third time they tried to force us to accept a dinner that they made incorretly we left. Oveall impression is a decent atmoshpere, horrible wine selections and totally rude. Had to pick a food rating to complete the survey"

"This restaurant is such a nice place to have dinner at; the owners are professional and always courteous. The food is excellent with many gourmet choices within a reasonable 'fine dining' price range. Everyone that I've ever introduced to Arielle's has always come back a second time."

"A rustic appearance belies the elegance of the cuisine. The wait staff included a German born hostess whose old world charm could have predicted The other worldly delight we would experience in their food. The trout appetizer was a nice portion and the horseradish and ginger played Well with the capers. The scallops were wonderfully prepared in a soy- ginger sauce. The atmosphere was cozy and could easily transport One to an old Bavarian home. Cozy, quiet, romantic and delightful food in the middle of God's country! We had trouble finding it But it was well worth it. C'est magnifique!"

"We visted Arielle's after reading the reviews on Open Table. What a pleasant experience! Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted. The inn is an 18th Century structure with a meticulously maintained interior. Linen tablecloths and napkins adorn the tables, which are each highlighted by either an electric or oil lamp, contributing to a very pleasant ambiance. There are interesting artistic touches throughout. The menu is extensive and several specials were offered the evening we dined. The food is excellent, the prices very fair and the service attentive. This place is marked by both its attention to detail and its obvious commitment to pleasing its patrons. Before leaving, we made reservations to have our family join us for Easter dinner."

"When you pull in to the parking lot it looks like an old farm house on an unpaved parking lot (crushed stone). Once you enter to the left is a nice bar, then to the dining room. “It is country……with crystal” My wife and I took a chance and overall enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was VERY good. Service was excellent as our waitress was very knowledgeable of the foods and tastes. My wife had four items that looked good and the waitress really helped her decide. We will defiantly go back and will be taking friends along."

"Nice wine list, BUT I'm a wine nut and wanted to bring my own. I called and found the corkage fee was a VERY REASONABLE $5 I will be back based on that alone.
Everyone in my party loved the place and will be back."

"Had a great meal at this lovely restaurant. Food was great and it was romantic and cozy. The waitress was not very attentive but I still enjoyed myself. Had the salmon and it was outstanding. Small menu and off in the woods but worth the drive. I would go back again for sure."

"This is the 2nd time we have been to Arielle's. The 1st time was an ann./b-day dinner for 2, the 2nd time was a b-day dinner celebrated with friends who had never been before. We started and ended with drinks at the bar, nice atmossphere, and then sat down for a delicious dinner. The clams casino was phenomenal...the salmon dumpling appetizer went over well with our group...the only complaint...we wished there had been more...lol We shared it between 4 people, so we all just got a little taste. We were all more than pleased with our entrees and desserts. The service was excellent with great suggestions for some of the items we had ordered. Our friends were so pleased with this restaurant that they are sure to come again, as will we"

"I'm used to dining at very nice restaurants, but was not sure I'd ever find a truly spectacular place to eat that was close to home. The other neighborhood eateries, Brick Tavern, McCoole's-- are all only so-so, in my opinion. However I was pleasantly surprised by Arielle's. We arrived for our reservation at 5 and were taken in immediately. The atmosphere is very rustic and romantic-- we were seated near the fireplace. The staff was unpretentious, the waitress was very attentive but did not rush us. My husband raved about the spinach and bacon salad, and I personally found the pork tenderloin to be very good. It was a very nice and relaxing evening, and we're already making plans to go back for my birthday."

"Everything was great from beginning to end. Plenty of parking, arrived a half-hour before reservation but was still kindly ushered to a table. Service was unbelievable. We were there on Valentine's Day, a day on which there is a set price and limited menu. My boyfriend could not order anything on the dessert menu (which was part of the meal) because he is lactose intolerant. Without him saying a word, the owner (I think she's the owner)came over to our table and offered him an alternate dessert; that was a very kind gesture and the dessert was great. She also checked on us throughout the night to see if we needed anything. Received all courses quickly and the food was wonderful. Atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, elegant yet quaint."
