"We found it very confusing to cook the selections we got. We were instructed to go for 1-1/2 -2 minutes, and the items were red inside. It proved to be rather stressful for us since we were not able to get the right flow. Probably will not come back for this tyoe of dining experience."

"Our 1st experience, was okay, not quite as good as we expected.. We did 2 courses, the Wisconsin Cheese, and each had 2 choice entree. Overall it was okay, they don't give you enough cheese for all the Breads, veggies (served cold?), and fruit that comes with course 1. When we asked for more cheese they said it would be another charge (already $8each?), didn't think that was right, so we didn't do that. For the main course, we chose the Caribbean flavored broth, it was good, although Very salty! We did like a couple of the sauces they serve for dipping (the Cocktail Sauce and Teriyaki.. Amazing!).
Overall an okay experience, but not sure we would do it again. Think we would rather dine at our other favorite High priced restaurants."

"This was my second time at The Melting Pot and my first time at the location in Myrtle Beach. My husband and I went there on a whim, late at night for dinner while we were visiting the Carolina coast. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the food was amazing, the waiter and manager were helpful and really nice. The only thing Id have to say and its not really a complaint, is that the waiter took a little too long in between the servings. Other than that, we had a blast!"

"This was our first time there and our expectations met above and beyond. It was delicious food, great environment, and extraordinary service. It was me and my wife's first night out without our children in a long time and the melting pot couldn't have been any better. It was romantic with the lights low and very quiet. "I didn't know what to expect before going. Something about cooking your own meal, but the cheese fondue, salad, and chocolate fondue are done for you. That leaves the main course, which didn't take long at all and was actually fun to cook. My wife and I both loved it! We picked the four course meal and were able to enjoy each course without feeling rushed. The service and food was perfect. It was the first real romantic dinner we have had in a long time. We will be making this a regular occasion."

"Food was very good, with lots of choices. Service was very efficient and attentive. Be aware that because there is only one cooktop per table, all at the table must agree on certain things. For instance, for the cheese and chocolate fondues, all must agree on what particular cheese or chocolate to order. There are a variety of dippables for each. For the main course, each diner can choose his own entree, but all must agree on the cooking liquid (either oil or one of several flavored broths). There are a variety of sauces, and a couple of dipping batters as well. All the dipping and cooking makes for a lively and enjoyable evening. "We were on a long getaway weekend in Myrtle Beach. A friend suggested the Melting Pot. What can we say but WOW!!! From the moment we arrived until we left it was great experience. Our waiter, Todd was the best. This was our first visit, so we really didnt know what to expect. Todd was very patient with us and help us make our selections. The food was great. The experience in general was like no other restaurant experience we have every had. We have visited a few restaurants that included a fondue type meal, but nothing like this. We are excited to go back and this time we would like to go with a group of friends. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend the Melting Pot to anyone."
