"My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal of appetizers, seafood, dessert and wine. Everything was perfection from the service to the food and it's presenation. This was a wonderful dining experience along the riverwalk in San Antonio which offers a lot of restaurant opportunities that feature loud, crammed dining experiences with mediocre food choices. It was nice to get personalized attention in a quiet, romantic atmosphere with stunning views at Las Ramblas.
We enjoyed cappucinos the next day on their outside patio while enjoying the views of the river and architecture that San Antonio has to offer."

"We hosted at business lunch for 8 at Las Ramblas in March. Service was slow and relatively unfriendly. They really appeared to be pushing use of the buffet. Half the group ordered off the menu at lunch and waited almost 45 minutes for food. All the buffet eaters were done early so it was ackward having them wait for us and then watch us finish our meal. The food quality was satisfactory but not spectacular, tasty, or even memorable. I would recommend skipping this place in favor of more interesting food in downtown San Antonio."

"We had high expectations coming in based on its location and our previous experiences with restaurants that feature tapas. "Disappointment! Restaurant was highly recommended. OTable had several good reviews. We were 2 couples with V-Day reservations at 8:00 and Las Ramblas was a place we hadn't experienced. We were seated late, our young waitress finally offered us drinks by 8:25,so to expedite our food order, we chose from their "special" V-Day menu. First, the lobster bisque soup was sold out. The 2nd soup suggested, was dreadful! The main courses were delivered incorrectly, and our drink orders were incorrect. This experience culminated with the waitress taking 30 minutes to bring our check, she lost our valet ticket(taking additional time to leave),and after splitting the check, one of the credit cards was charged twice. Best part, Valet got us away quickly!"

"According to the information that was posted on your site, on 2/14/2013 the restaurant was supposed to serve both the Valentine Day's special menu and the regular menu items. Yet, the restaurant served only Valentine's Day preset menu and a separate preset menu which included only few dishes (it was not posted on your site). As a result my vegetarian friend had to beg the server to prepare a vegetarian paella that he planned to order at the time of reservation. The service was horrible. It took at least 20-30 minutes before the server even appeared and asked us whether we choose what we want to eat. The table was not served appropriately, with no napkins, water, silverware. The paella was horrible and burned. No and no to this restaurant."

"We were there twice. The tapas menu is excellent. Fantastic choice for late-night drinks & light fare. Dinner was also delicious. Paella valencia outstanding & plentiful. Salmon dinner very good but small portion & "accompaniment" was more like a garnish (tiny). Our waiter was new, so service was only mediocre for dinner; but late night server was experienced and very good. Overall, a lovely place that I would highly recommend. A great maitre d'!"

"Loved this place. The food was truly outstanding. The only thing I would recommend is some candle-light or some kind of light lighting on the outdoor seating area. It is a beautiful patio but at night it was completely dark. There were no candles or lighting... could have a much better atmosphere if the lighting was better. But other than that, great place, great service, and very romantic."

"Had a large group there for convention and this is a good group spot - lots of tapas and entrees. Sangria was very good. IT was cold outside and we sat just inside. Problem was the servers kept opening the doors and leaving them open - very very cold. We kept having to get up to close them. Food was good though - get the sangria. It is on the riverwalk in the Westin."
