"The service was excellent -- good timing between courses, attentive without being annoying. The food was really excellent -- flatbread with dips a nice perk, crab cakes with the tahini were delicious, pickerel entree was light but filling and pasta with sausage was excellent too. Quite liked the $3 dessert shooters so you could have a little something sweet without breaking the bank or being too unhealthy. The noise level and ambiance were not quite up to the standard of the food and service, but we'd definitely go back."

"When I realized the resteraunt was the brain child of rose weizman I was already turned off, but we decided to go anyway but I was quickly let down

We decided to share appy's So..............The chicken flatbread had waaay to much dry feta on it, the salad was waaay to sweet It was like salad with maple syrup poured over it, the avocado slices were mushy and gross and the calamari actually smelled fishy. Hated every bite - did not feel like healthy freash eating to me I will never go back.

"This was my second time at the restaurant but my husbands and cousins first time. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and stayed for 3 hours.
We loved the attentive service we received from the pouring of the wine at our table to the choice of dessert at the table.
We loved the healthy menu choices and we would definately go back to enjoy the patio. It was rainy the night we visited."

"My guest had a very restrictive diet and our waitress was most helpful. My friend was very pleased and so was I. Our meal and wine were excellent. We ate outside as we found the inside a bit too noisy due to a large gathering."

"It pays to make reservations at vthis place. I made reservatiions. 2 hrs before online and received a great booth.
Pace was not as pretentious as I thought it would be.
Wine listing is very good but some half bottles are more expensive than full compariable bottles.

"Despite indicating on my reservation that we were celebrating a special birthday and would appreciate a nice table, the hostess attempted to seat us in a dark, noisy part of the diningroom, behind a large structural column. After we requested a different table she moved us to one of several much brighter tables near the windows. It took a long time to receive our glasses of wine, and the waitress made an unnecessarily long production of letting each of us see the bottle, taste a sip, then she poured it into a caraffe then poured it into our glasses. The service was slow and inattentive. The bread which came with the dips was stale, the salads seem to have shrunk since last time and the charred corn on the Cobb salad was dry overly chewy."

"Had been at Glow last year with a larger group (13-16) twice and both times in the summer, food & service was great therefore decided to recommend brunch with 3 friends. This time not sure what happened? Considering we went at 11:30am and it was not busy, the server did not introduce himself nor had the time to ensure everything was fine...he would ask and before you could give him a full answer he was off. The soups of the days were great-we had Carrot & Ginger puree. The crab cakes came lukewarm, not even hot. The stirfry was too salty. The Caesar salad had a whole garlic. The Vegetable Omelet was too greasy. I had Roasted beet & spinach salad, that was perfect. Perhaps the lighter menu items were better? Decided to skip coffee & dessert."

"Server was pleasant and the food arrived promptly, accurately and was tasty. We arrived at 7pm and only ordered an entree. Server never came back with our bill. We didn't get out of there until 10:30 even though it wasn't busy. Finally we had to ask another staff member and that person brought us the bill rather than our server. I'd still go back for a decent weeknight meal as they have some healthier choices on the menu than the surrounding restaurants."

"A very healthy twist on comfort foods. I absolutely loves the flatbread with smoked salmon and the kids menu is very unique, offering kids healthy but appealing items, rather than chicken nuggets and other processed foods like most restaurants. "I was very disappointed with my lunch experience here. First the service was quite slow.... When our waiter took our oder, he then came back ten minutes later to tell us that the items my two friends ordered from the regular menu were not available! My fish was "ok"... a little bland.... I was really looking forward to having lunch at a "healthier" restaurant! I might give it another chance and go back... but not for a while! It was absolutely the noisiest restaurant I have eaten at in a long while!"

"Went for Sunday brunch, the food and plating was pretty bad. It looked like someone sat on my food and the side salad was so small they should've called it garnish. My dad, who isn't picky @ all didn't enjoy his meal either. Besides the friendly waiter, who was nice and attentive, I would not go back and should've had Aroma, where the food is good and priced well."

"6 people for dinner, veal chop great, two serf and turf, regular size lobster tail, mini tenderloin, got the order wrong. but they fixed it.
Crab cakes and soup were great. The mozzarella plate with with mushrooms were served cold, they either sat or I would not order it again should be served at least warm. Striploin was ok also.

"First time to Glow - Shops on Don Mills. Our reservation was promptly retrieved from Open Table. There is a light hearted ambience with the unique glass decor and airiness which provided a casual atmosphere for patron’s alike, couples and groups of varying size. Our waiter Sean was attentive, offering a complimentary pre-dinner snack, flat bread and dips -good service. Started with a glass of Pinot Grigio and grilled calamari. The Thai Seafood Bowl is a generous portion of rice noodles covering perfectly cooked tiger shrimp and calamari with just the right amount of red curry to awaken ones taste buds. Gluten free never tasted so good!"

"We had brunch on Saturday. Reserved a table and our requests were met. As well as the brunch menu the lunch menu was offered. We asked for our eggs in particular ways and the waiter and chef made sure we were pleased. All in all it was a great experience. I haven't been for dinner, but would definitely try it."

"We were there for early supper. Lighting was very low and we had trouble reading the menu. There was NO light even near our table. As it became darker outside, inside the restaurant became even darker. This is our only complaint."

"Went for a team lunch and enjoyed everything about it. Had the Wagyu Burger and it was great! They don't serve french fries, so come prepared to eat some home made bbq chips which are okay. Good place for large groups, reasonably priced and knowledgeable staff. Their latte isn't too bad either."
