Zoubi opened in the Spring of 2001, & became an instant hit with the locals as well as visitors to the New Hope,PA & Lambertville, NJ areas. Zoubi's unique setting combined with it's eclectic menu, makes every visit a memorable one. A fusion of French, Asian & Latin American Cuisine awaits guests, in addition to an exotic decor created by owner Louis Zanias along with friend Keneth Harvey. "We met friends at zombie, as a central spot for both couples. Upon entering we wee so excited with how lovely the the eating area was. We were seated on time and service at first was very good, but went downhill from there. We had to ask for a bread basket upon seeing other tables get one; Alex our waiter looked over our shoulders and seemed disinterested when we placed our order and once the food came no one checked back with. 2 rack of lamb orders were deemed average; my octopus was fair.

"Had Chilean Sea Bass - wife had Crabcake. Both dishes were excellent as were our app/soups - onion tart and arugula salad, soft shell crab soup. This was our 5th or 6th time at Zoubi's - always excellent. The chef is a true artist.
Regarding cigarette smoke in the dining room....half the bar is open to the outside where people smoke. We ask to sit in the very front of the dining room to avoid it - though I did smell a "little" smoke in the front this time which I was not happy about. However, if you sit at the table next to the bar you may have smoke blowing right on you depending on the wind. As much as we love Zoubi's I'd probably opt not to eat there if I had no choice but a table next to the bar."

"We went to Zoubi for our 12 year anniversary, and it was wonderful. We had to eat early, because of a performance my boyfriend was playing that night, and they were very accomodating about sitting us early and providing timely service. The food was amazing, especially the soft shell crab special. The staff is attentive and friendly."

"Wonderful food, wine, service and ambiance!! Last time we dined at Zoubi's we ate on the patio, and it was lovely. However, since it was a chilly evening, we chose to sit inside and were very impressed! It is a very charming and intimate setting. We were a group of six, and everyone loved their meal...especially the amuse bouche and the vichysoisse prepared by the new sous chef, Eddie. He is very talented and creative. We were greeted by their new maitre d, Alex, who also gave us wonderful service!! Then to top off the evening, Andre came by our table with his smiling face and wonderful charm! Just love this place...going back with the family for Mother's Day!!"

"I would not recommend this restaurant. We sat down at our table and smelled cigarette smoke and asked what this situation was. They informed us the windows between the bar and outside was open and that was the reason. We asked if the window could be closed as it was negatively effecting us and were told no because then the wait staff would need to walk around to deliver drinks.
This was after we overheard another table send back their food twice because if came out cold. They to were told this was because the door to the kitchen was open and the breeze made the food cold. That table left without eating.
The management of this restaurant did not seem to care about either table leaving."

"We were a party of six and enjoyed everything - drinks, apps, entrees and desserts! The specialty drinks were great too! Lollipop lamb chops were nice and tender. Also had the endive salad with goat cheese - perfect."

"We were very disappointed in Zoubi. We were there on a Saturday night and the place was empty. This restaurant has great potential because of it's location and quaintness. However, it completely missed the mark on all of our dishes from start to finish. The appetizers (tuna tartare and shrimp) were very bland and lacked any elevation of style. The main courses followed suit. We had drinks at Karlas next door before we went in for our reservations.. wish we had just stayed there."
