"We visited for Mother's Day from CT & Florida, and NH and brought our Mom to lunch. I requested a round table where we could visit, linger as a family and enjoy fine cuisine and make a memory. Our table was perfect , our service excellent and the food was amazing, thank you Chef!! From start to finish you all were Rock Stars:-) Thank you !! We will be seeing you soon again!!"

"The wine bar & tavern at Bedford Village Inn---excellent quality food, lower price than the upscale gourmet restaurant but quality just as good. Menu is lighter type and more modern style--Asian influence , has sandwiches & full dinners, stir fry Asian veggies with salmon and braised Short ribs with gorgonzola grit puree---good flavors"

"everything was great except for noisy man with his mother at neighboring table. the room is small and we heard their whole life story as a result. some people do not care if they ruin other people's experience. they even gave the staff a hard time."

"We arrived just before 6:00PM, our scheduled reservation time, asked if we could sit outdoors, and were taken to the patio. It was a comfortable setting, and although the traffic noise from Rt. 101 was slightly intrusive, the attention, the service, and the presentation of the food more than made up for "white noise." We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience."

"Wonderful experience from beginning to end. We celebrated our anniversary and they did a few neat things like decorate the table, give us a card and decorated a piece of chocolate. The bread was delicious. I had clam chowder which was great, my husband had a Cesar salad, very fresh. Then we had salmon and fra diavlo for dinner. We had an assorted pastry plate for dessert."

"Wonderful experience at the Bedford Village Inn. My wife and I were attending a wedding and decided to stay at the Inn the night before and have dinner at the Inn. I made reservations for a time when I thought we would be arriving but we arrived much earlier than I had anticipated. I called and asked if it were possible to eat earlier than our reservation time and even though they were quite busy, we were seated and taken care of within 5 minutes. Great service! Great Food! Loved it!"

"Excellant Resturant in an old farm house setting. First Class Function Hall across from resturant in an old barn and limited hotel rooms available. They do a great job not only with the food/drink but with the service also. Try it you will not be sorry!!!!!!!!!!!! Plan $75 per plate for food and drink...."

"The outstanding service makes this neighborhood gem stand out. I am extremely picky about my food and left a good portion of my salmon on my plate. The waitress was concerned and brought over the chef. He offered to re-fire the salmon or even to bring me a completely new meal. I chose not to take him up on it and my husband ate the balance of my plate and loved every morsel on top of his wonderfully cooked to his taste filet.
The server knowledge of the food, wine and beer was excellent and we won't hesitate to return as soon as possible."

"The food was excellent and well worth the price. Wine list is extensive. Waitstaff was efficient, knowledgable and polite. Management checked during and post meal to check on quality of dining experience. Ambience is classic elegance. You can have conversation without having raise your voice to be heard. Overall one of the best dining experiences in my lifetime."

"Amazing food! Service was a little slow, but that was okay. The elderflower champagne was so yummy, I could have drank it all day. Lobster Rangoon, delish. The french dip is to die for and I had the turkey panini, which had the most amazing combo of flavors (cranberry and apricot chutney with blue cheese!). I will definitely be going back!"

"We've been to brunch at BVI several times over the years. We were really dissappointed in the food this time. The eggs and omlettes were tasteless and overcooked. We wish we had ordered from the lunch menu in stead."

"Gracious and accomodating, BVI is a country gem offering fine food and a well-crafted wine list. Whether a weekend brunch, business lunch, romantic dinner or a large event, the Carnavale family are wonderful hosts. Can't wait for the rumored spa."

"I heard such great things about BVI. We were excited to try it. Our reservation was for 7:45 and we were seated by 7:50. We sat at the table for a half hour, literally, before our waiter even came over for a drink order. After 10 minutes of waiting for our drinks, he popped by to say the bar was very busy and he'd be back with our drinks soon. That's great, but can we place an order for apps before you zip off again? No, not possible, he was gone before we got a chance to even ask. The bus boy did bring waters, finally. So, at the 45 minute mark (I am not exaggerating) we finally got our drinks and got to place our orders. Food was just okay, my $29 entree was 3 tiny scallops and 3 clams,& a bowl full of beans. We liked the desserts."

"First - the "helpful/unhelpful" TU/TD ratings being given to these reviews is obvious shilling. Service was excellent this time around. Kudos for the addition of the cheese course appetizer; thoughtfully varied selection of local and international cheeses to choose from w/crostini and honey/blueberry dips. Nice social, interactive, group appy. Gnocchi app was tasty, although duck confit pushed it from 'rich' to 'a lil greasy'. Short rib app has good components. Both were decent but not inspirational like a previous BVI chef's gnocchi was. Duck entree is quite good, as are the dessert selections. Kudos as well to the Corks wine program (see its menu) and Tavern menu. PS - your OT reservation shows your previous reviews to the restaurant."

"We were there right before Christmas and the restaurant was very busy. The food and service this time, as the last time were impeccable. It was particulalry nice this time because it was less crowded. It was my birthday and they gave us a table next to the fireplace in a small room we had all to ourselves for a very romantic evening. The duck is sensational as was an appetizer seafood stew from southern Spain. It would be a great winter entree. The creme brulee was the best I have ever had."

"The outside grounds are quaint New England with a special charm. The dining room is elegantly decorated, with fireplaces lit and rooms are small keeping down the noise. Complimentary Pork Croquet from the chef was a real treat. The breads were good but not outstanding, we did not want to fill up on bread. I had Seafood Pasta Fra Diavolo the portion of seafood was moderate, but I could not see any pasta in my dish!! In the low light I had not seen the very small portion of squid ink pasta, and thought it was a bit of spinach. My wife had a NY Strip Sirloin and it 12 oz for 38 dollars. I had 4 oz of it and we both loved it. For desert the 'Chocolate Bag' was just that a bag of dark chocolate filled with white and dark choc mousse, yummy"
