"I had not been here before but met some clients for lunch there because of the location. The service was excellent and the food was very good. Everyone liked what they had. They have a Monday night pasta special which a co-worker of my client had heard about and after eating lunch there my client said they would come back to check out the pasta special as they live in the neighborhood and thought the food was quite nice. Indoor and outdoor areas were very nice. Music was a touch loud but maybe I am getting old."

"I live a few blocks from Della Terra and have never had a bad meal there. Pasta is always perfectly cooked, the pizzas are great thanks to the wood-burning oven and there are a lot of great wines by the glass. So glad it's in walking distance, but it's worth a longer trip too."

"Group of five out for a casual meal and we really lucked into Della Terra---we loved it. Followed the server's suggestion about wine and he was dead on right with a suggestion none of us had ever heard of before. Fried calamari appetizers were shared--they were good, nothing special. Entrees were amazing. Lamb chops, shrimp risotto, lasagna, lobster/shrimp ravioli, and sausage pasta all were superb. Huge portions so some of most everything went home with us, too. Chef has a light touch, subtle flavors that somehow explode in your mouth. Shared a brioche bread pudding that was incredibly good. A leisurely, delicious meal with outstanding service in a simple setting. A really wonderful evening of food and wine, we loved it all."

"What a great find! Tucked away in a small building with exposed brick walls and high ceilings wasn't sure this was LA. We arrive on a Monday night to their $10.00 pasta special, and not just one or two items, but a large menu selectoion of pasata. After enjoying an excellent meal,and great service, the bill arrived, and then I was sure we were not in LA."

"My husband and I come by at least once a week for both the excellent food and attentive service. We have brought a lot of friends and business acquaintances and they have never failed to provide a top notch experience. The pastas are classics, with some neat twists like the brevi costole(pasta with short ribs), the seafood is always fresh and perfectly prepared and the steak frites are out of this world.
It's particularly telling that on any given night, many of the diners are regulars, although everyone is treated like one! It's a very relaxed atmosphere but you still feel like you are being treated to a night out."

"Terrific food, great service, really nice atmosphere and because it was cold and threatening rain, not too crowded so pretty quiet. When it's full it's probably pretty noisy. The special papardelle with mushroom and black truffles was extraordinary. Homemade papardelle is not always easy to come by and this was perfect. The wine recommended by the manager was excellent as was the caprese salad. Highly recommended and they have a pasta special on Mondays for $10 and a three course prix fixe on Tuesdays for $15. Can't go wrong with that."

"It's a great neighborhood spot with a great atmosphere. The service was good, except that it wasn't the fastest or always the most attentive. So if you're in a rush this might not be the place to go. The food is great with sizable portions. The osso bucco is especially good. The tables are close together (but where are they not?), so you can easily hear your neighbors' conversations, which really got annoying. However the girl next to us was particularly bad. Overall, a good place to go."
