"We came here expecting a steak restaurant on par with the Capital Grill, though with a more personal touch, as it's not a national chain. We couldn't have been more wrong. The food was fine, not great, not bad. The service was abrupt at best, not remotely helpful or personal. The tables were crammed together, and the prices were extraordinary for what was delivered-$300 plus. Definitely wouldn't go back for anything more than cheeseburgers at the bar."

"27 out of 30 from Zagat!! I didn't believe at first because all of the top steak restaurant in Manhattan only received 26 out of 30 from Zagat. Peter Lugar Brooklyn received 27 from Zagat. I went the Dino & Harry's first time and it was WOW!! I believed why they received 27 out of 30 from Zagat. Now, I've been there 8 times so far. It is my favorite steak restaurant in NY area!! Their porterhouse for 2 and Applesmoke Bacon are the best!!! Their ribeye and other steak or good (25 out of 30 If I have to give them score), but porterhouse is the best!! Better than River Palm Porterhouse, Wolfgang & Ben and Jack. Almost similar to Peter Lugar porterhouse!! Very impressive steak!!"

"Had dinner here with a good friend and enjoyed the meal as I always do. The petit filet mignon was quite good and I liked the 2 sides that we had, the creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. I loved the chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the cheesecake which my friend did not like. The service was prompt and done with a smile. They are one of the best steakhouses around and we hope to go back again soon."

"What a great choice for us. Love Stevens Inst. of Tech. Love Hoboken. Wanted to celebrate in town and now love Dino and Harry's. Ribeye fantastic, Porterhouse delicious, Stuffed shrimp special great, Chicken/sausage pasta wonderful, Pork ravioli special great, and Roasted chicken very very good. Sat next to the piano and enjoyed the live music all evening. Lively atmosphere wasn't a distraction for our celebration. Delicious snowboken for dessert. We won't hesitate to make reservations at Dino and Harry's the next time we are in Hoboken."

"Went here for our wedding anniversary and would never go back. Spent $300 on mediocre fare, at best. Epanadas were gummy and tasted like commercial frozen appetizers. One was supposed to be fillet, but tasted like brisket. Steaks were overpriced and just OK. Corn brulee seemed liked it would have been interesting, but was very sweet and would have liked to have seen more corn. Desert menu was disappointing. Very expensive for such a disappointing experience. Cannot recommend and would not go back."

"I finally made a return trip after eating here for the first time last year. My family and I has a good time. I love the way the original interior details have been maintained in this old establishment. The sauteed vegetables are very good (lots of garlic). My medium rare filet was a little too rare for my taste, my wife's a little too medium. We enjoyed them nonetheless. The fried onions and lyonnaise potatoes (with bacon bits) were very tasty. One occurrence that soured the experience a little, was the manager's apparent reluctance to provide WIFI access. He waited until dinner was being served before coming over to fulfill my request."

"Dino's is a great place to grab a steak and have dinner with family / friends. It can be pricey, but the food and service are very good. The filet and rib-eye were cooked to our liking and very flavorful, the jumbo shrimp are in fact jumbo and fresh. The bacon appetizer is delicious, a must try. Other notables are the Iceberg Wedge (ask for it chopped), the house-made ravioli, and the sea scallops."

"They had one of the best steaks I've had in Hoboken, but everything on their menu was extremely expensive. The calamari was perfectly battered and fried, and the French onion soup was delicious. Service was friendly, quick and attentive. Overall, is a good restaurant and I'd go more often if it wasn't so expensive."

"Great meal - those recommending the Porterhouse were dead on. Oysters were great, bacon was delicious, and the sides didn't disappoint.
My only knock would be the bar - the drinks we had were fine but they don't have a wide selection in terms of cocktails. That being said the staff was accommodating and made the drinks when we told them the ingredients."

"On Sunday 4/14/13, 5 of us ate at Dino & Hary's Steakhouse. Expensive but food & service were excellent. Liked the decor--tin ceilings, tile floors, maple bar--real 1900's Hoboken ambience. Only complaint was the noise. At first it was quiet, but then few loud guys at the bar were loudly cheering a golf tournament. Actually screaming for the players they liked. Never heard such noise over a boring golf tournament."

"I thought the whole package was going to be so much better. I was diappointed. We didn't get the table that was promised upon reservation. The ambiance was nice, but the food was average. My bone in rib eye steak was cooked well, tasted good, but had so much conective tissue I couldn't cut it up. I took it home for my Jack Russell. My wife's scallops entree was very good. Overpriced drinks and food. I'll go back only for the live music."

"Caught up with a good friend for dinner. Dino and Harry's actually surprised us with the quality of the sides, and the impressive quality of the meat. I enjoyed a really well prepared steak and my friend had a terrific lamb chop. The sides were well prepared, fresh and tasty. Overall a really good meal. I would come again - worth the drive from South Jersey or the City. The restaurant will be packed, lots of energy and a big after work crowd - make a reservation. Service was good, server was responsive and pleasant even though she had a number of big tables."

"Underwhelming. My wife and I returned to Hoboken for dinner at Dino and Harry's on Sunday night, 3/24. We hadn't been to Dino and Harry's since we left Hoboken.
Our meal was good, but no where near the quality it should have been for a $47 filet. The steak was cooked perfectly, but that was it. No flavor. Best part of the meal was the steak sauce and good wine pours.

"Overall, the place is great. Warm interiors, always has a filled bar, very good food. Sunday night was no exception. We both ordered the cod off the specials menu and it was delicious. My chopped wedge was all that it should be ( maybe just a touch too much blue cheese dressing - words you don't often hear me say). My boyfriend had the NE clam chowder and he said was very good. The service was very fast as the place was only about one third full. Our sever seemed a little distracted - notably evidenced by her bringing me a bottle of California Sauvignon blanc when I ordered a French Montrachet.
But all that said, would definitely go back because the menu is reliably great, the service is good, and the ambiance is welcoming."

"The place was busy, had great music but the service was so VERY poor. Our dinner took 2 hours. Although sitting for dinner with my guests was great waiting for the waiter to reappear was frustrating. At one point I got up and found him. He came over to take our dessert order and only asked me what I wanted but never asked the 3 others sitting at my table ?? While trying to FIND the waiter to get his attention I often noticed the bartender standing there looking up watching TV. If the bar was that slow they should have him help out. I understand 1/2 way through our experience a large group of about 15 people showed up and the waiter got busy with them but ignoring my small group was unexceptable. The place was expensive for the poor service"

"We eat here all the time. We went for my wife's birthday and it was amazing. The piano man played happy birthday as the "Snowboken" desert was brought out. Theses touches make this place an absolute gem. It's the best restaurant in Hoboken hands down. Eat here."

"Food: Steaks and all sides were great! I would Highly recommend the Corn Brulle to accompany any meal there.
Service: Prompt, but a bit rushed. Before our appetizers were fully cleared our entrees were placed in front of us. In a steakhouse setting I prefer to relax and enjoy myself rather then rush through a large meal.
Ambiance: Old time feel to the building, it's what I expect to see when eating at a steakhouse. I enjoyed this aspect.
Overall: If the food wasn't rushed the experience would have been better. The Wine list needs updating especially in the vintages. This is a key point in a steak house. Lastly we had some food wrapped to take home and found that our Lyonnaise potatoes hadn't been placed in the bag(Attention to D"
