"We were there with friends - a first time for all of us. Everyone's dinner was excellent. The steaks were incredibly flavorful and tender. The lobster tempura appetizer was fabulous. I had the bananas fosters cheesecake dessert, it was just amazing!! Our server was attentive and very personable. We will definitely return to XO!"

"My friend and I went during Restaurant Week and especially since we saw that they were offering the mini Beef Wellington as an appetizer again (they also had it during the previous Restaurant Week last year). The mini beef wellington was absolutely delicious but we noticed our portion was considerably smaller than last year so we were disappointed we could not enjoy a larger portion. I hope XO considers making this a regular staple on their menu! Our steaks were cooked perfectly and were delicious. We opted for the creme brulee instead of the desserts they had available and that was good. Our waiter had good intentions but he was a bit excessive in his explanations."

"The prix fixe menu was a delight. The short ribs wellington were tender, the pastry crust flaky and inviting. The corn chowder was sweet and vibrant, with the pancetta adding a salty counterpoint worth lingering over. The surf and turf was the least lustrious of the dishes - the steak was completely unseasoned in any way. The spinach was steamed just enough, the shrimp not a second overcooked and the potatoes were elegantly paired with caramelized onions and a veal reduction that made the rest of the dish sing. Dessert's mango sorbet with fresh berries unravelled on the tongue like a well-paired shiraz: slow, complex, layer after layer creeping up the palette and into the memory. The dessert trio was delightful as well."

"Don't bother going for the Cleveland Restaurant Week deal. We didn't come in expecting huge portion sizes. But were disappointed to say the least. Short Rib Wellington was described well as 'short', a two bite tasting is all you get. Taste was good.
The Surf and Turf was missing the surf, two small shrimp. The turf was cooked excellent and was as expected in size. The sides were almost a joke, a tablespoon of cooked spinach and a couple halves of fingerling potatoes. Each delicious on their own, but were lacking in quantity.
The trio of desserts were all tasty treats that didn't buck the trend of the app. and entree. The lemon square was approximately 1/2"x1/2" and the eclair was smaller than a thumb.

"Upon walking in I knew my girl and I were in for a real treat. There was about a 25-30 min wait even with reservations, but It was crowded and the host did an excellent job managing those who were waiting. My girl had the surf and turf and I had the salmon, both were cooked to perfection. The steak was tender and flavorful. The salmon was cooked to get just the right texture, the vegetables were delicious, not over cooked and well seasoned. Our waiter (Giuseppe) was friendly, knowledgable, helpful, attentive, personable while maintaining his up most professionalism, all the characteristics an excellent waiter should posses. Anyone who is truely looking for the transcendence of a dining experience must to make their way to this establishment"

"Food and server were very impressive! Need more bartenders for a Saturday. We waited 20+ minutes for a drink. Also our reservation was at 7:15 and we weren't sat until 8pm. That was a little upsetting as we told our server it was my husbands 30th birthday and after a bill of over $260 for 2 people you would think we'd get a dessert or something."

"Very good restaurant experience. My family and I dined during restaurant week in Cleveland. The sampler 3 course menu was very good and offered a taste of the chef specialties. Although it wasn't on the special menu, the bananas foster cheesecake was wonderful!"

"Went to a late Sunday night dinner. Very few people there, so no wait and great service. They did not have an item on the menu I wanted to order (said they ran out because of Valentines Day diners on Sat) but the food we had was great. There was this waiter/bus boy working another empty table and he was quite a perfectionist in setting the table. It was pretty impressive if that is the attitude of all the waitstaff. Our experience leads me to think that they are well trained and deserve 5 stars. Hope to get the same service and quality on a busy night. Will definitely go again for special occasion."

"The filet was amazing, although We were not happy with the amount of food you get for your price, me and my hubby left still hungry and the bill was almost $200. He got crab legs and was not satisfied there just was such a small portion. It is romantic but I would of rather went somewhere that I could leave and be completely full and satsified with the amount of food we got for the price."
