"Great place to enjoy good food in a pretty casual setting. We ate outside on one of those few nights in Ohio when you would say it was perfect outside."

"The food was amazing, but the venue is too small--too cramped. In addition, the noise level is very high--likely due to the overabundance of cliental in such a small space and the low ceilings. Wait staff seems to be hit or miss--ours didnt pay much attention to us but it seemed that other waitresses were good."

"Wanted a romantic dinner for me and my boyfriend and we got it. The food was amazing. The bruschetta was the best. Great little romantic restaurant perfect for a nice occasion."

"We had a late reservation, but the staff never made us feel rushed. The atmosphere was relaxed, inviting and intimate. Staff was very friendly and accommodating (I'm gluten free, and they made sure to check that my menu selection could be prepared as such). Dinner was excellent, and our server made a fantastic recommendation on the wine. We even stayed for dessert, and I'm glad we did! The pot de creme was decadent, and my husband loved the tiramisu. We'll definitely be coming back soon!"

"The food was just average and rather bland. I expected a "wow" factor from what I have heard of this restaurant, and thee service was excellent. But again, the food was rather bland. I had the Rotolo di pasta which was interesting looking but the ricotta was just ricotta but bland, and you really could not taste the Romano cheese in it. The sauce was OK, not great, but had good tomato flavor. We had the edemame hummus for an appetizer and it was very good."

"Enjoyed a fine meal at Trattoria Roma! Service was excellent and the wine list was good. 19 year old son had chicken parm and liked that it was served with pasta alfredo instead of the usual red sauce on the side of pasta. Hubby ordered the same, but wanted the traditional red sauce on his side and they were happy to accommodate him. I enjoyed linguini with white clam and herb sauce and it was a real winner. Caesar salads were lovely and you could get anchovies on them if desired. Nice place - recommended!"

"Been to Trattoria a few times, only because it is in the neighborhood. I would not necessarily recommend anyone to go out of their way for it. The food is totally acceptable, but the ambiance leaves something to be desired. It is nice in the summer to eat on the patio, but seating is limited. Also, for an Italian restaurant, their bread is horrible."

"we arranged a table of eight to try your restaurant. the first bad thing was the room was cold, legs were cold under the table, rest.was very dark, then a terrible smell came thru...that was explained to us, smelled like sulfur. Most of the food came out together and it should with the 4 pm reservation, as we were the only ones there. first course was good, eps. the egg. second course,,the duck skin should have been removed, crisped and replaced back on the duck as it looked unappetizing and was uneatable.Everything om n a dinner plate should be eatable.desserts were good especially the potaucreme, could have done the green as a dust and not dye the cannoli. We asked our server if Mat could step out and say a few words, she didnot or forgo"

"We had a great anniversary dinner at Trattoria Roma. The food was outstanding! Who knew that an Italian restaurant could do gluten free so seamlessly?. The service was spot on and they just started a cocktail program that really started the evening off right. Make sure you allow time for a proper cocktail before eating."

"My husband and I wanted to take my daughter and her husband out to celebrate a family event, and we had a delightful evening at Tratorria. We took advantage of the Dine Originals week and ordered from the 3 course menu and every item was special, beautifully presented, and without a doubt we will be back. We ordered items such as Scotch Eggs, Lamb with Squash rolled in Pasta, Arugula Salad with Citrus Dressing. Everything was first clss. I had the stereotyped opinion that Tratorria was Italian with heavy pastas as a rule, nothing could be more incorrect, the Chef blends light sauces, fresh vegetables and herbs masterfully. I appreicate the colors, nicely designed lighting and art work-it all adds up to a comfortable ambiance."

"The food was great, but a little over priced. Loved everything, but $20 for pasta. I was at least expecting a salad! What does a salad cost's them, less than a dollar, and they can't squeeze that in the budget?"

"I had heard good things so I made a reservation for the Friday after Valentine's Day. Upon arrival, we were told that it would be a few minutes so we stood awkwardly waiting, as there is no place to sit and wait. After about 5 minutes, the hostess told us that we could sit in the bar area at a table right by the front door or else it would be a 15 minute wait. So much for that reservation. So we sat in the bar area, by the front door and got served by the bartender; Happy Valentine's Day to us :/ From that point on, we were just annoyed. The food was good but definitely nothing special. Let's just say that we won't be going back."
