"We went right before a Red Sox game. The food was good but the atmosphere was great. We had a great view of Fenway Park. We took our time and we weren't rushed. There are TVs everywhere so you know whats going on, great for my boyfriend who was watching golf on one of the screens."

"We went for dinner... my expectations were not high as it is a sports bar. Our waiter was very good except that the menu had daily specials but when we ordered we were told it wasn't offered on a game day we had to pay full price... this was not stated on the menu we doubled checked... then we ordered our food and within 5 mins it came out... mine was a turkey bacon wrap that was right out of the fridge and my husbands was a pulled pork that was nuked... not happy with cold bacon and turkey...everyone around me had extra tall beers but I got grieve to order a tall drink... again waiter polite in explaining but felt like I was getting a line of ...lots of other places to go in Boston..attend a lot of games first time there will not be back."

"Good Food at reasonable prices. One of the best Reuben sandwiches I have ever had !!! Rest of my party had burgers, and they were very good. Service was prompt, and not overbearing. Lively place, great before the game. Have your sunglasses and a hat to handle the strong western sun late in the day."

"This is a great place for watching sports and hanging out with friends. I would not recommend it for a good dinner to catch up with a buddy (if you want a sports place with tvs and catching up with friends with good food - try the Yard House around the corner on Brookline - MUCH better) - but if you want a fun place to watch the game and have some beer, this will fit. They have cool drink specials sometimes including a $3 surprise beer (they pick one at random from their samplers they get from suppliers). The food leaves much to be desired, but after multiple refills from the bar, I'm sure it's spectacular! ;)"

"We were there right after the Red Sox game on Patriots Day...it was a bit chilly and we decided not to walk down Boylston like we have done every year...and went to Remy's early instead...they took us and sat us very quickly...10 minutes after being seated we heard about the bombings! the bar was united in listening to the news coverage that was on all the big screens in there...a day I will never forget...service was great and so were the staff considering all that was happening that day..."

"This is the THIRD time that I have had longstanding reservations after a Red Sox game that I have had to wait extended periods to get in and be bullied by the "bouncer" at the door. Half of my party had already been seated and he would not let me in. The waiter came out to tell the "bouncer" that my party was waiting and he would still not let me in. I do understand it is busy post game, but those patrons who make reservations months in advance should not be subjected/bullied or made to wait in line with the none reservation/roof top patrons by the "bouncers". There needs to be a better system - - has not changed in past 2-3 years."

"We had never been so wanted to try Remy's and were very pleased with our dinner. Food was excellent as was the service. It was not packed the night we went since baseball is not in season yet so probably why. Would definitely go back but since we don't like a lot of noise, which would likely be the case during the season, we'll reserve it for off season. I'm on a special diet and the salad I had was perfect for my diet and one of the most delicious I have had anywhere!"

"We had an excellent meal at Jerry Remy's. Very nice set up. The wait staff was not at a level I felt was appropriate. It took a very long time for our appetizers and dessert to come out. "We went early on Friday in Feb. & the restaurant wasn't very busy. I say this because I expected better attention to detail, especially from the food expediter. We paid to upgrade the french fries (with the hamburger)to garlic Parmesan fries. These were heavy on garlic & barely any cheese. But, they came limp & room temperature. They obviously had not just come from the frier. We also ordered the Mac and Cheese & added lobster. This was more like pasta with a creamy sauce with some cheese than a baked creamy cheese sauce. It had no crisp topping...nothing to make it seem "baked". Nor was my food hot."

"I expected the food to be good, but it was great! The steak tips were cooked just as I ordered it and the sauce was very tasty. My mom LOVED the crab cakes, especially the sauce, so much so that she didn't leave a drop on the plate. "Got a tiny 2-seat table when we arrive. Asked about a larger 4-seater or booth, but weere told all were reserved (they remained open throughout our dinner). Great mixed drink choices.. tried the Cable Car and a blueberrry cosmo. Husband ordered a Captain and Diet, which came out flat. Asked for another, and the waitress said she thought it might be. Second Captain and Diet was the same, had to swap to beer. Sliders as a starter were nothing to write home about. I had the Chicken "Under a Brick" and husband had the flatiron steak- both were outstanding."

"We enjoyed our lunch at Jerry Remy's. It was our first visit. The food and service were both very good. Great spot to take in the vibrations and excitement of a Red Sox game as the restaurant is only 100-200 yards from the infamous Fenway Park."

"We went for brunch after having been for drinks, dinner, game night, etc. The brunch was pretty solid, with an expansive menu that speaks to the bfast folks, the lunch folks, and the 'it's noon somewhere' crowd. We didn't visit the make your own bloody bar, but looked considerable for those who might be interested. Overall, the brunch exceeded our expectations."

"We had a fantastic waitress. Fun place for us parents to bring BU Students for a dinner out because you can walk from campus thru Fenway. We had a food snafu, but they handled it wonderfully and brought us huge desserts for free. Will bring the kids (college kids) back there for sure."

"We were looking for a place with Boston flair to host friends from Texas. We needed to be close to the Fenway area. The place was very quite on an early Wednesday eve which is juts what we needed to get our chat on. The staff was very on point. The food was delish and well plated. By the end of the eve, the restaurant was full and triva was starting to ramp up. Fit our needs perfectly. Looking forward to going back."

"Temperature was cold, had to keep our coats on. Host was friendly and accommodating. Waiter not attentive. He never asked us how our food was or offered to refill our drinks. We saw more of the person who,delivered our food than our waiter and it was not busy. Thankful I had a groupon as the food was lousy and would not have wanted to pay for it otherwise. Chowder and chili were lukewarm, Caesar wrap was dense and dry, waiter substituted sides without asking what my daughter wanted. The best part of the experience was the large screen tvs!"

"The prices on the menu are not the same as print out on the bill as you are being over charged. When brought to the attention of management they didn't seem concerned and said that happens. Stay away from this place as it is not the type of place you want to patronize."

"We tried to eat here during Red Sox season and were shut out, so came last week with a GROUPON. Nice casual atmosphere, lots of seating of different types, regular tables, high, booths, bar seating. Server was friendly and working hard. Food was good quality casual fare. HUGE Cobb salad, good sliders, many beers."

"Jerry Remy's is a great restaurant for food,fun and sports followers! The food is always great and there are lots of great beverage choices. The Wed. trivia night was fun, but a bit slow paced. It's also awesome in the summer time when you can sit outside on their deck. Always love it there!"
