"Aussitot rentre on voit la cuisine pas tres propre . L approche du maitre d hotel tres ordinaire . La serveuse etait par contre gentille Le niveau de bruit est tres agressant . Nous avions hate de sortir . La nourriture ne vaut pas le prix demande . On ne comprend pas que le site open table inclus ce restaurant dans leur liste . Tres tres decevant .."

"What I feel Italian food should be : simple yet made with attention to details and with high quality fresh ingredients. Great dining experience. Staff is knowledgeable, relaxed, attentive. Nice win list. Most if not all privately imported. Only down side : noisy !!!"

"Our waiter David was amazing really funny and energetic He made us laugh all night. The ambience was really nice. A but loud at times but you could still hold A conversation very well . The octopus was fantastic!!! My main coarse was not as good as the waiter said it was going to be. My friend and i both had the special which was suckling pig. It was dry and a but tough. We explained this to the waiter and he gave the table free deserts. All in all we had a great time and would go back."

"The food was amazing. Eggplant parmesan was the best I've ever had. Even the broccoli was the best!! The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. We went back the next night!!"

"Avant c'était un de nos resto préférés. Les raviolis était eme plus durs que le al dente. Le pesto ne goûtait rien. Avant les gnocchis étaient divins mais plus maintenant. L'entrée de mozzarella était très bon toutefois. Je ne crois pas que nous allons y retourner. Dommage, c'était un bijou du quartier."

"This was my second time at Venti. I came a year ago and had some of the best pasta in years. (I liver in Italy so no small feat) However, i went this past weekend again and it was truly dissapointed... From the burnt crostini to the soggy gnocchi ... The only good things were the cured meats and the desserts. Very dissapointed."

"Venti is a great traditional Italian restaurant located in the historic old port. The tuscan chicken liver pate is outstanding. We also enjoyed the octopus endive salad. Was not wild about the homemade cheese bread with artichoke dip. I loved the gnocci gorgonzola and found the homemade raviolis of ricotta and spinach very light and tasty. and the rigatoni oxtail stew was delicious. My only complaint is that the music is too loud and of a rock variety that i don't understand why they feel is necessary. Would definitely go back for a treat!"

"with a relaxing ambiance, excellent service provided by a laid back and professional staff, and mouth watering food; i have nothing but praise for this restaurant. i have been there three times in the past three months, introducing it to friends and family so that they too can embark on a delightful culinary journey to Italy! from the delicious entrees (meat, seafood and veggie options), the homemade pastas and breads ( i could not stop myself from eating piece after piece of their delicious bread with caramelized onions!), and amazing steak, everything is always delicious. The octopus salad entree is another must try. The tiramisu is also excellent . oh yes! 5 stars every time!"

"I went to Venti, since it was one of the top ten restaurants for Valentine's Day. However, it was not to my expectation. The menu was not detailed enough that you would need to ask the waiter for an explanation. Also, we were not served bread while we were waiting for our meals, we had to ask for it. Also, they only had olive oil to dip your bread(which was cold) with no balsamic vinegar and they call themselves an Italian restaurant. They only thing we liked were the home made baci chocolates which were offered on the house."

"Wonderful soup (confort-mom soup) but average pasta (lack of flavour). Would be great to add a few more options for lunch (à la carte in additon to the table d'hôte). Excellent service, nice place. Will come back for dinner to have a greater choice and try the meatballs."

"We were sincerely disappointed in our experience at Venti Poor service and food- our food was sub-par and our wine was nothing as our waiter described. We sent our pasta back and the waiter brought it back to us saying "our pasta is homemade so it is cooked a la dente and so it tastes different" and put it down on the table. Wow, thanks for telling us that - we sent it back again! We then waited for 20 minutes for a replacement. No apology and even another waiter said "some servers are wait staff and some serve - I am trying to make this place better". We left and went down to Barroco where we were treated with respect and delivered delicious food/wine!"

"Nice staff, very good food. Pascal our server was amazing... he took charge of our menu and wine selection and respect our budget and gave is amazing selection! Miam miam ! "La table qui nous a été assignée était dans un couloir de circulation, je me suis donc fait bousculer périodiquement....très désagréable. Je ne comprends pas que le personnel de la plonge circule dans la salle à manger avec les bacs de caserolles souillées. C'est dommage, l'assiette et le service sont bons mais le reste...j'y repenserai avant d'y retourner."
