"Tuba is a true neighborhood gem. The Turkish cuisine is fascinating and delicious. The waiters seem enthusiastic about the offerings as well. They all seemed like one big happy family even though they probably aren't. Two of us had dumplings stuffed with beef in a yogurt sauce that was absolutely sensational. We were later told that the dumplings are hand made at the restaurant. Tuba is very affordable too. The wine list, though not extensive, is decent and very well priced. We had a very nice Malbec for $39. We will definitely be back."

"We are planning a trip to Turkey in the fall. In anticipation, we looked for a restaurant that specializes in Turkish food. We were pleased with our find in Tuba. The restaurant is cozy. The service is friendly and efficient and the food was very good. We asked for dishes that represented the foods and wines of Turkey and were given good recommendations. We were quite pleased with Tuba and will go back."

"There are some seating arrangements that are not the best. Since we didn't want to sit at the back next to kitchen, we asked for something else. We were placed in on odd configuration for three people and one seat was cornered with the cash register. At times the staff used that table to put receipts while the person sitting there was eating. Not cool! Food was acceptable and one of us had a vegetarian meal that was outstanding."

"As usual, every bit of food was exquisite! Very delicious and very attractive presentation! I brought two guests, who were there for the first time, and they raved about the quality of the food and the service - some of the best that they have ever eaten - and in the case of the mucver appetizer, they almost became addicted - they loved it so much. This truly is a neighborhood gem and I have to keep going back. Thanks!"

"Excellent Turkish food. Large portions. There were 4 of us dining together. We ordered 4 appetizers to share and 2 main dishes and it was plenty. Ambiance was very nice with dim lighting and deep red colored walls. I will go back. Nice for a dinner splurge. Not completely expensive, but save my return for a nicer dinner. Food was delicious!"

"We have eaten here 6-7 times and always enjoyed our meals. This time coming on Valentine's Day with a prefix menu was a mistake. I don't know if it was because of the food choices or preparation. Whatever, it was not up to the level of our previous meals. I will never again eat a prefix meal at this restaurant. But I will return for the regular fare."

"I took my friend here for his 50th Birthday and the food and staff were both amazing. We had the cold appetizer plate, which was a great balance of delicious flavors and textures. The zucchini appetizers were also quite tasty. We both had the Moussaka and savored every bite. The staff was very attentive and quite generous in the recognition of my friend's birthday. Overall it was an awesome and delicious experience. I would highly recommend this spot for lovers of Turkish food!"

"Been there several times before and thought I would go again. As always, the NICEST people imaginable. The food, however, was a disappointment. The fried zucchini patties were inedible--soft, mushy--not the crispy hot appetizer I've had in the past. Probably won't go again. Pity, as I like the staff so much."

"A real gem in our neighborhood. I had never tried it before but pass it nearly every day. The falafel was the best I have ever had and the lamb chops were spectacular. I think the word is out since I am told that weekends need to be booked in advance and more reviews like mine won't help, but book in advance and go. The food is great and Jay the owner is very warm and welcoming. As a self proclaimed wine snob I can say that the Turkish wines are very good as well."
