"The 360 degree view of this beautiful city was breathtaking. Very pleasant service. The food was disappointing, however. The curry flavouring didn't go well on the calamari. The smoked salmon pasta was also oddly seasoned - too much garlic and dill for my taste. Both the pasta and the peas were undercooked. It seemed like they were trying to create the impression of gourmet food, but there wasn't much skill or artistry and I wasn't impressed."

"Came here for dad's 70th birthday. Food and service were both excellent. View was without a doubt worth the trip and every penny spent. I had briefly mentioned to the server and while I booked via opentable that it would be a birthday celebration - server was gracious to offer us a slice of delicious mango mousse cake with a candle on it! Dad was very happy and so were we. Thank you!"

"My husband and I enjoyed a lunch at the Top of Vancouver restaurant on Saturday, 11 May 2013. We were looking for a special way to celebrate our anniversary and were not disappointed! The restaurant offers a fantastic view, great service and delicious food. The restaurant's al la carte lunch menu provides many options to suit different tastes and budgets. The food was served with a smile and it was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. We will bring our out-of-town friends and family members to this restaurant for the view, food and service."

"We went for our first anniversary. We had the stuffed mushroom caps, the baked lobster, the seafood melody, and the special of the day peppercorn t-bone steak. They were all delicious and the portions were very good! Of course we also came for the view, which was excellent that evening and we got to watch sunset over Vancouver."

"I recently celebrated my girlfriends birthday here and it was a nice night. Quiet, calm, fast service and just a great view while dining. Good for the mature crowd. Yes appies, dinner and coffees cost approx $150 for 2 but meals were good and price was worth the view(1st time around). Prob wouldnt do it every weekend but nice for special occasions."

"AWESOME view of the city! We ate here our first night in Vancouver and could not have asked for better service and sights of the city. The food is just OK but then we went for the view! Service was some of the best ever but getting up to the place was a bit tricky due to construction on the ground floor."

"I found the ambience and service excellent. I found the food overpriced and small on the portions. I wouldn't hesitate to state that that is why the restaurant was half empty on a Saturday night. I would suggest a revamp of the menu. $39. for a pasta dish with 4 mussels, 2 tiny lobster claws and a few prawns in a soup bowl was a huge disappointment. I had to ask for parmesan!!!!"

"The server was friendly but made many mistakes. While probably not his fault, the services was too slow. My rib steak was excellent; but, the escargot was disappointing and my wife's surf and turf was quite mediocre. She said the lobster tail was too salty. My girl had the seafood melody, which was good but kinda in a plain tomato sauce or something. My halibut was good as well, but not busting out with flavour at all, both were somewhat generic. For the money, I just expected better, but I guess you're paying for the view!"

A bit of a rip-off, to say the least; waiters could be more knowledgeable about some facts pertaining to the building and the scenery.Also, not sure why 15% tip is automatically built into the bill. "It was a lovely time in more than one way! The view was amazing and the service was as well. The food wasn't to die for, but with the ambiance and the view it was worth it. Large restaurant so the noise levels were fairly low. Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Dishes were more towards the expensive side, but still affordable. We went on a clear night so the view was great - good weather is important. Definitely a must in Vancouver! Tourist or resident it's very enjoyable."

"My daughter and I were in Vancouver for the week of March 10 - 17. We were looking for a nice restaurant to enjoy a beautiful meal. I happened upon your restaurant on-line and made reservation. I liked that I was able to make reservations on-line. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Dining experience was lovely. My teenager daughter happens to be someone who appreciates good food. The food was excellent. The view was outstanding."

"This was our first time we had opportunity to dine at the Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant. I recently moved here from Edmonton, and enjoyed the revolving restaurant there. We thoroughly enjoyed the view. The service was great. We didn't feel rushed to order. The food was very good. Lunch was a good time to see the city. Next time, we'll try the evening, to enjoy the lights."

"I was happy with the taste of the food and the atmosphere, but i do have to say i was disappointed with the portion. I am used to fine dinning and usual fine dinning industry portion servings, but on this occasion i ordered the Halibut which came with risotto which literally came with 30 grains of rice or 2 forks worth not enough to enjoy the fish. So i ended up eating the fish with no risotto to complement the fish with."

"The environment and atmosphere were excellent.
It gave a complete 360 degree of the city of Vancouver, Stanley park and harbor front.
My wife and I had the window seating which offered a Birdseye view of the city.
We had calamari as appetizer and lamb shank for dinner. The lamb shank was tenderly cooked, however
We found that gravy was heavy with salt. Overall, the food was great.
The service was superb and we were attended to by Andrew, a knowledgeable staff.
It gave a complete 360 degree of the city of Vancouver, Stanley park and harbor front.

"I will say that the food and view really worth the price. The portion is quite big for ladies. Very romantic, nice service. I won't recommend the tiramisu though, which was really creamy and lack of the real tiramisu flavour. I'll come again for my birthday."
