Rock Bottom Brewery - La Jolla
A lively and casual dining experience, we feature fresh, handcrafted beers brewed on premise and an innovative menu. Our beers range in style from Pale Ales and Light Lagers to Stouts, Belgian-styles and Amber Ales. We also brew many specialty and seasonal beers, all of which are handcrafted by our Brewmaster using his original recipes.
The atmosphere is rich in woods and gleaming brewing vessels. Our service is friendly and upbeat. Our moderately priced menu features a medley of items ranging from Fish and Chips to Roasted Chicken and Filet Mignon, a variety of interesting salads, and our world famous White Cheddar mashed potatoes.

"We went to Rock Bottom for my husband's birthday with some friends. We picked it mostly because they participate in the Passport discount card and they had a parking lot. The food was good with large portions. The beer was fairly well priced. Nothing too special about the place, but I would definitely go back."

"Honestly, worst Rock Bottom experience I'd had. My salad was a letdown and my fiance's burger looked sorry. Restaurant was 3/4 empty, yet service was extremely slow. Took an and hour and a half for a salad and a burger.
Skip it...plenty of better places to have lunch in the area."

"Rock Bottom is a great place to take kids. My 6 yr old grandson always asks to go there when he's staying with me. Kids can make their own pizza and their own sundae. I love their chicken with hazelnuts and cherries and they have an excellent caesar salad."

"We booked a reservation for a large group online, which was very convenient. The table was ready on time and was able to be expanded, when we had 3 additional people show up. The lunch menu was pretty reasonable, though a little limited. Service could have been a little faster and there was a mistake on an order where the special lunch menu item was replaced by the more expensive full size order, but overall it was friendly and decent."
