"I enjoyed my visit on Mother's Day. There was a breakfast menu available to do "brunch" but I ordered off the menu instead. I had the turkey meatloaf dinner. It came with cheddar mashed and actual veggies that didn't appear frozen. My son had the mad and cheese with shrimp. He said the pasta was cooked just right and he really liked it. I ordered a kiddie steak meal for my elderly father to go. It came with fresh carrots, celery, and apples (and fries). I really liked that the kid's meal was healthier and there were more choices. The bloody mary was a great flavor. It was garnished with celery, lemon, and lime. I like a pickle or olive usually as well. The menu listed the bloody mary at $8.50, but the bill was for $13.50, but it was fixed."

"Our food came out cold and mediocre at best. Would not recommend if looking for a good meal. On the other hand great location on the river for outdoor dining and drinks. Staff and manager did a great job at service recovery when told the food was cold."

"We went before a show at Riverside. Perfect location to the show. Zachary, our server, was excellent. Great suggestions and just attentive enough. Food was typical of a brew pub. Beer was very good. Definitley recommend for dinner before going to the shows down the street."

"Dined here before a concert at the Bradley Center. Nice for a casual dinner. Our party of 6 was seated indoors overlooking the Milwaukee River - that was a nice bonus! Nachos were a nice appetizer for the group. Burgers were excellent - I wouldn't typically think that a burger was worth commenting on.... Shrimp and lobster enchilada was okay - the shell was too mushy. Pulled pork sandwich was good. Service was very good. Waitress was willing to do separate checks for the different groups at our table.

"Maybe keep the music not so loud! Very difficult to carry on a conversation. Otherwise this is a fantastic place – great menu – great location (aside from the construction), and a very competent, friendly staff. The restaurant is also handicapped accessible, which is great because my wife uses a wheelchair."

"I have dined here before and never been let down with the food, beer, wine, and service. Excellent place for a couple or a group of 6 - 10, I would suggest a reservation for any group size. This place can get loud but usually nothing overpowering, you can still have good conversation. I have never been disappointed by the beer list, always able to find the right brew for my mood and to match the food."

"We enjoyed everything we ordered- drinks, appetizer, entrees and desserts. The menu has so many choices that it was really hard to choose. I especially loved my entree though, Hazelnut Crusted Chicken! We appreciated the Birthday cupcake and we ordered the Carrot Cake for 2. Three of us couldn't even finish it because it was so gigantic. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive to our needs the entire night.
Overall this was great choice for the four of us."

"Everything with the restaurant was wonderful! The food and service was excellent. The problem I had was in the parking lot which was probably owned by someone else but it is in affiliation with Rock Bottom. I had 12 women with me for a bachelorette party and a few of us parked in the lot were it said $5, we parked and waited for the tenant. After waiting a couple minutes, instead of helping us he changed the parking sign (right in front of us) to $10. He refused to honor the $5 even though we had been there before the sign got switched. He should have offered to call a manager, he didn't handle it very well. We spent a lot of money on beverages and food and would like it the restaurant would do validations if a certain amount is spent?!"

"Stopped in for dinner on St. Patty's day. Both of us had the bourbon burger and Mac N Cheese and it was yummy! Service was excellent. Didn't have to wait long for the table or for food. Server kept the soda refilled and we had a very enjoyable dinner. Can't beat really good burgers and a bill (for 2 people) at under $40! Next time we will save room for desert!"

"This restaurant offers on site parking, though you may have to pay, but very convenient to local theatre. You can walk to the Pabst, The Rep, and the Riverside theatres from the restaurant. The prices are reasonable, and the service was excellent. I especially appreciated being asked if we had a show to go to, as we were headed to a show, and under a slight time constraint. The service was efficient, but not too rushed. The food was great, and prepared correctly."

"Rock Bottom Brewery is our go-to place when doing anythng in the city, such as going to a concert or other events. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is great, and the service is wonderful. In warm weather, the outside dining area is awesome....on a terrace overlooking the river. Since we don't drink alcohol, I can't speak to the wine or beer list, but they do have lots of choices. I would highly recommend Rock Bottom Brewery to anyone!"

"As a member of the service industry, I am usually very forgiving for below average service, especially when I see a server running around like a maniac. This however was not the case. "We had reservations through OpenTable and walked in and we were immediately seated, despite a number of walk-ins waiting for tables. Bill, our waiter was very attentive, but not overly intrusive.
Food was fantastic (calamari, shrimp mac & cheese).
It was Saturday night and a good crowd was watching a very close Duke/Maryland game, so it was a bit more energetic there than in previous visits."

"Went to MKE from Chicago for quick trip. Thank goodness made reservations because it was crowded all night. The food and drinks were delicious --try the jalapeño spinach dip and donut holes dessert. Not high brow --but good food. My 2 youngish kids loved it and their free coloring activity page. The view and location are great -- but probably better when it's 70 degrees outside instead of 10!"
