Delphine offers Contemporary American cuisine that is California inspired with a focus on fresh, organic ingredients. The menu features a selection of starters from the house favorite kale salad and charred brussels sprouts to entree specialties like the famous Delphine Burger, 12oz bone-in filet, and seared Maine diver scallops. Delphine also has a separate bar menu available all night in addition to Happy Hour daily from 5-7 in the bar area.
"Terrible and slow service even when not busy at lunch. Our server acted like it was painful to speed up a little and the place was empty. Food very below par for such a nice place, no wonder if was empty at noon. Embarassingly slow and below par would never bring a customer there again."

"Delphine is a great place to go especially if your going to the Pantages. They are located right across the street. I have no complaints about this place. The service was fast and friendly. The food was excellent. I especially liked the Cesar salad with bacon."

"We had made a reservation for an early dinner(4 pm). Upon arrival, we were told that we could only order from the lunch menu. The restaurant was empty, so service was fine. One of us had a cheeseburger which was mediocre. I had a chicken sandwich which was better than the cheeseburger. I would not recommend the restaurant because of the fact that we were not offered the meal we reserved. We were on a time schedule due to a film festival, so we were careful about dining arrangements."

"Love the food and the servers were very nice. Service was a little slow but the server's personality made up for it. Wish the restaurant wasn't so loud. It takes away from the ambiance. Good place for dinner before a show at the Pantages."

"Going into the W Hotel, we had no idea what to expect. We are not really use to the LA scene but enjoyed ourselves. The service is what stood out most - especially, by our waiter. The food was good, though the wine list left a lot to be desired. The seating could use a little more cleaning attention. If we were not already tired we would have enjoyed the after dinner life that the Hotel had to offer. Very lively and vibrant patio bar with a big screen playing music videos and there was also a vibrant indoor bar."

"We went to Delphines for brunch before seeing a 1pm matinée at the Pantages. We allowed ourselves 2 hours to dine so we could have a nice leisurely brunch. It turned out we needed every minute! The waiter was either stoned, hungover or just didn't care. We waited 40 minutes for our first round of beverages and then he didn't bring what we ordered! It took another 20 minutes for the correct order to arrive. The food was great but the poor service put a damper on the meal. When we got the bill and it included 15% gratuity (we had 4 in our party) we understood why the waiter didn't seem to care about providing good service--he was getting a fair tip no matter what!"

"My husband and I enjoyed appetizers and entrees (chicken and cod special), as well as drinks. The cod was fishy but served in an interesting and tasty broth with tomatoes. The service was very good, though slightly on the slower side (probably from a couple other tables who were constantly calling our waiter to their tables). Overall, it was a decent evening but much more expensive than I would have expected for the food."

"The location is perfect for people going to a show at Pantages theatre, which is why I chose it. Even though, we had reservations, we were seated next to a column which offered no view, thus detracted from the ambiance. Also, the booth seating would have been preferable for me to have given the restaurant high marks for service and ambiance.
The food was okay, tiny portion and overpriced. The highlight was the wine selection, which was extensive. As such, convenient location is the best aspect of this restaurant, and I might go again if the Wood N Vine is not available."

"Unfortunately, the food was overcooked and the wait staff was overwhelmed. It was difficult to get their attention and the food was just warm when it arrived instead of hot. It is a beautiful restaurant, though."

"My experience at Delphine's was everything and more than I hoped for or expected. The service was excellent. The food was superb. Since it was a birthday celebration for both my granddaughter and grandson, they each received an unexpected treat; a scoop of ice cream and a candle, plus an extra dessert each, which were mouth-watering good. It was an experience that I and my grandchildren will not forget."

"Impressed! First, we were running late to our reservation so we called to inform the hostess and she said it wasn't a problem and held our table. Our server was on point with any questions we had, his name was Frank, and he provided exceptional service the entire night. Our table ordered the calamari for an appetizer which was ok nothing special. Then for entrées we ordered The Delphine Cheeseburger, Pan Roasted Jidori Chicken and Braised Beef Short Ribs. All of which were great! I can't remember the names for the desert items we had but one of them was a chocolate cake and the other was a toffee cake both of which were great. I would definitely go back!"

"First time at Delphine and I was pleasantly surprised. From the appetizers to the entrées, each dish seemed to get better than than the last. Being so close to the Pantges Theater, they of course were extremely mindful of our eveming's schedule. Our waiter, Jay, was also very friendly and helpful."

"I've dined at Delphine's in the past and it was very good. However, last night both my daughter and I ordered salads and tomato penne with shrimp. I've tasted better food at the Olive Garden. THe pasta was semi congealed and tasted like tomato paste. My husband had a cheeseburger and we each had a drink. The bill came to over $200.00."

"Delphine is a little over priced but the food is quite good however the menu is limited. We enjoy the modern bistro feel and decor. We will continue to eat here occasionally. It is very convenient if you have theater tickets and/or take the Metro."

"Have gone many times before theater. The last few times have convinced out group of 10. This last visit was "the last visit". This is the 3rd time the orders took almost an hour to be served. Many ov the items were incorrect and cold. We come at 430 pm do we don't have to rush our meal ( for a 630 show across the street) Has not worked out that way. We order by 445 pm the order was not out until 535. Many items had to be redone. And the not inexpensive meal was far from enjoyable and had to almost be inhaled, so we didn't get to the show late."

"A good experience from beginning to end -- we chose it just because it's close to the theatre where we had an 8 o'clock curtain, but the food was delicious, the service (waiter Frank) efficient and cheerful, and all went splendidly. Will definitely go back again."

"Delphine's was great. We had dinner before seeing a show at the Pantages. We split a Cesar salad. It was the perfect size to split. It's served wit a twist. They add a little applewood smoked bacon for some extra flavor. It was really quite good. The salmon was wonderful and perfectly portioned. My friend had the braised beef ribs and said they really good, tender and flavorful. I didn't try them., but they smelled really good. The server, Adam, was attentive, very friendly and efficient. He got us in and out with time to spare. We even had time to grab a latte next door at Starbucks. I'm so glad we found Delphine's. We go to the theater a lot and have been looking for good place to eat that is nearby."

"W Hotel PARKING WARNING. According to April 8, 2010 L.A. Times review, "Valet parking, $5 for the first 2 1/2 hours before 5 p.m. with validation, $7 after 4 p.m." The current truth is on the Delphine website, "Valet parking is $8 with validation for the first 2 ½ hours, $18 thereafter." Without the validation the W Hotel parking is $23! The Pantages website says of parking in the area, "prices generally range in price from $10-$15 (subject to change).""

"Had a wonderful dinner after the last show of Jekyll and Hyde with my three nieces. Food was fabulous but our waitress brought a late drink when we were all finished. She appologized but just set it down after I said it was too late. My niece each too a sip and then we left. I was not happy to see a 40 dollar charge for a vodka and soda. She could have taken that off the bill when she set the drink down. Spending over $300 for a dinner is not a problem for me but getting charged an extra 20 dollars for a drink that we didn't want because the waitress brought it too late, not a good."

"Enjoyed this first visit to Delphine. My friend and I first enjoyed cocktails and the truffle fries in the bar area. The sangria and the fries were yummy. We then moved to the dining room, where we enjoyed two entrees: the scallops and the halibut, both well-prepared and delicious. Will come back again to try more!"

"We went here prior to a show at the Pantages for brunch. Loved the bloody marys. The food was very good and it was convenient to use the hotel valet for both our meal and theater. Just ask the hostess for a theater validation and it's $6.00. PS The fried calamari was the best we have had in a long time"

"The place is nice but food is dull. I'm a big man that likes to eat and I left most of the food on the plate. My niece also didn't care for it and she likes everything. The added 15% tip for a party of 3!! I'll never go back."

"Very nice, quiet and excellent service. For those going to the Pantages theater they validate valet parking . It is $7.00. This is definitely an added bonus. Right across from the Pantages and metro stop is next to tge hotel.
Definitely worth a visit."

"After a matinee at the Pantages, we literally walked across the street for dinner at Delphine's. My party was mixed with both the organic loving vegetarians and the meat eaters. Everyone was happy. From the hummus to the salmon, everything was excellent including our waiter Adam. Was it a pricey evening? Yes. But after a night at the theatre, a celebration or romantic occasion, this is a great place with lots of personality and ambience. Just be advised, they do automatically add 15%. Fortunately our waiter was worth more, so we tipped accordingly."

"I really wish it depidnt feel like we were eating in a hallway. The part of the restaurant that faces into the hotel just doesn't work. The waitress was great, but the hostess was rude. The food was good, but they really need to add a few substantial vegetarian options. My only option was pasta without shrimp (which they still charged full price for) and I could have made that at home. My boyfriend really enjoyed his steak, and the potatoes with it were delicious. The pot de creme was outstanding. We also had breakfast there the next day, which was fine, but not great. Especially with the lack luster ambulance, I don't think we'll be back."

"The food was great and service was delightful. I would describe the atmosphere as Chic Bistro. The bar well-done and the seating was creative. But it's not the quiet Hollywood Boutique Restaurant scene. It was a lively social scene, great for parties, a night on the town or a good place to be seen. Good experience."
